Free is Free. Why waste money on a paid dating service when you get what you want for free. I do not think the quality of people is better on a paid service those people are maybe just more desperate.

I have texted over 200 woman with hello's and hi's and with other normal introductions. I have not had one woman wanting further conversations.My profile is a very good genuine one of me. My woman friends say it is a very good profile. Advice, meet woman in person.

I was one of the polite and honest users of this site. To my my mind honesty is in short supply on OkCupid and so I was very upset to have my access to this site blocked for unspecified violation of the conditions.
Never got anything but junk mail clogging up my email so I've switched to PlentyOfFish which has far more users to message and meet up with.
In summary, a very annoying waste of time.

Compared to all the other dating sites out there - and of course compared to all the dating scams you will find - OkCupid pretty much kicks $#*!! It ain't perfect though and I know that most people will most likely find someone special on those prime dating sites like Mingle2day. But let's face the facts here: OKCupid is pretty much a cool dating site. You will find fake profile on any other site as well. After all, I am not using it anymore because as mentioned I am more than happy using some other site but I did in the past and I thought it was more than just "ok" :)

One of the worst apps to ever, after a short stint tried deleting the account post unwanted monthly charges, but it docent ever let me to delete it. Inspire of having to change the password occupied docent even send the new password to my email and its so frustrating now looks like I have to change my bank details.

I reported the obscene and pornographic photos to customer care for 6 months. They never responded. They dont have a contact number you can only email. They dont care. I tried to write a review and the app wont let you.

In my opinion there are to many people on the site to actually find a good relationship. You get matched with to many people that hardly ever reply due to the fact that so many guys are going after the women.

It's free. I never get responses. Most of the women are not attractive. Most of us will never find love in any form we try and the electronic world is no different. But I least I don't have to pay. You get what you pay for. You see what I mean?

My picture was flagged by one of the guys, solely because i wouldn't entertain him nor talk sexually. Therefore he flagged my picture. 90% of the guys on here only want sex anyways, but when a woman turns them down they want to act like a baby. Maybe y'all should offer tutorials for assholish guys so they will actually learn how to speak to a woman.

I had no good experience myself. I had a man act really creepy towards me and it was kinda disturbing. I stopped talking to him and a year or two later he messages me with a "long time no sea". He was pretty terrible towards my mother too. I have tried it several times and not a single date or even decent messages.
There are minimal people there who are Christians too so is not for those who are religious or have decent moral values.

They told me my account had been banned before I saw one match! My credit card(s) weren't accepted although valid. It didn't recognize my password when I added my username and password and entered correctly. It kept asking me to send a code to my phone number yet when it did, or didn't it would just boot me back to the username screen. Stay away from this site. It sucks. Sent an email asking wtf and no reply.

Quite contrary to most haters I think OKC is always worth a try. If ya don't like it move on but ya can't deny that it ain't a bad site! I also prefer Match or Mingle2day but I ain't claiming that OKC is a scam cuz it simply ain't! Period! Compare it to all the other dating sites and you will know what I 'm talking about.

Okcupid suspended me for no reason. It's a fraud. It takes your money and then terminates you but charges you for a subscription I don't want! They are just trying to charge you on your subscription and then they don't let you cancel your subscription. I had to cancel my credit card to get them to stop charging me! Fake app!

It really is free and they really do match you with people who answer questions similarly to you. There are a lot of people and the profiles are straightforward and the questions for the profile are easy to read, relate to, and are entertaining. The site matches you with potential matches. It even gives you options of others in your area to the left that you can click on. You can wind WITH A MESSAGE or message... it even gives you info on how often the member responds to notes. In addition, it has instant message capabilities... ALSO FREE. Search options are nice and so is the "Quick Match" function. There are unattractive people as with any dating site, but there are a lot of REAL attractive people as well. I think the site is about the best free dating site I have come across.

I have been a customer for years and one day I just couldn't log in. Got a message saying my account had been suspended for breaking a rule, but they won't tell me which one. I can't imagine what it could be. Wondering if someone I met turned me in for being fake out of spite. I emailed customer service and they still wouldn't give me a reason... just told me I'm no longer being charged. Ridiculous.

Anyone that will take your money and still will stop you from communicating with members is a scam. I can understand if they are stoping the none paying member from communicating to other members but if someone is paying they shouldn't prevent them just to keep they're payments coming In. OKcupid always delays my messages I send by 10-20 mins so that all the people im talking to get my messages 10-20 mins later. What is causing this & how can this be corrected? This is on a regular PC computer. Is there any OKCUPID people on here that can answer that as its hard to carry on a conversation when my messages are always delayed by 10-20 mins!

They take your photos and ask all kinds of personal questions just to suspend your account for no reason whatsoever, mysteriously after getting info on you. It leaves you feeling really scammed and violated. And of course this is after they have taken your credit card info. OKCupid is full of old and fake profiles, so if you are a real person you will have no place here other than to have your personal info in jeopardy. This is the worst dating site ever. They even have complaints against them in the BBB, with a grade of F! There is no customer service if you have a problem, and I can see why because there would not be enough customer service reps in the world to deal with this disaster. Don't do it! It's a scam and a rip off.

Women especially you single mom's beware, I reconnected with a guy that I went to highschool with on this website. I was very excited about it seeing I always thought he was cute. He turned out to be pretty perfect, I thought I was so lucky and almost introduced him to my 7 year old daughter. Then one day out of boredom I decided to google him, good thing I did seeing he is a registered sex offender. Lets just say it was a good thing he wasn't around when I discovered this. Be careful!

My mate doesn't even use this app and someone hacked into his accounts on social media and made multiple okcupid accounts. He is absolutely pissed off because now someone wants to complain about him on okcupid and he doesn't even use it WTF. He was called a freak for something he didn't even do and he's not happy about it.
