I'll start by saying internet dating worked for me, I met my new girlfriend Sally just over a month ago (was on a different site called wejustfit.com) and weve both cancelled our various dating site memberships now, including OkCupid. So this isnt one of these typical negative reviews. But OkCupid is where I started probably like most do and I gotta say its a professional site with a lot of women (I should know I probably talked to every one of them in the SoCal area!). If im unlucky enough to be single again in the future id go back and give it another try, but I hope I aint unlucky!

Found my husband cheating on me... his username is thecrow1984.(aka Andri Krita) i really hope he deleted his profile and never had any dates with any of those dirty women...
If someone recognize this name, pls reply to me...

Anyway, im not saying youre guaranteed to find love but it's another option that might help. Tracy (29).

I have been on OKC for about 2 weeks. I won't be on much longer. I have received sexual emails, guys in their 20s that are soooooo attracted to me.( I'm 54) and most men are widowers within the last year and lost their wives to breast cancer. Hmmmmm? They want my e mail right away and phone number. I tried all other sites, free and paid and I have no luck with them. I'll just hope lady luck comes my way.

I met a girl from my city on this app. We talked for like 2-3 months before we actually start meeting. When I saw her for the first time I was simply stunned. She was pretty, funny and all around amazing person. We kept doing stuff together 3-4 times a week for the next 6 months. I even met her parents. Everything was going alright. And one day she just told me that her next relationship was going to be with the person she's going to get married and that I wasn't that person.(btw I'm 20 she is 22 lol). She then said we shouldn't talk anymore. Yeah well I was shocked. I never gave a $#*! when I got dumped or dumped someone from my past relationships. But this girl was different. I thought she was the one. Basicly I spent next 3 months depressed. I failed like 4 classes in 1 semester. I did serious self harm. So yea this app seriously f***ed up my life. Don't use it.

I had trouble paying for anonymous looking, and Ian of Customer Service was able to untwist the information. Because PayPal and OK had problems and my payment wasn't able to go through. Ian expressed his concern about how many times I wasn't able to pay, that he checked with the higher-ups and gave me -- no charge 6 mos. Of anonymous! He also instructed me how to use other benefits. Thank you!

They banned me because people couldn't take rejection and cursed me out, but since they were the ones who reported me. So they banned me. Don't waste your money on this site. There are bunch of low class people.

How is it that a site states your art is inappropriate when it is a drawing of Ironman and a character from Walking Dead? Maybe OkCupid should actually look at the art first before believing somebody who has their feelings a bit hurt that they didn't get a date!

Don't pay any attention to all those negative reviews. OKCupid is a great dating site. I have been browsing the internet to find a legit dating site for YEARSSSS and OKCupid, Mingle2day and Tinder (if you prefer to go mobile) are the only ones which worked for me. Easy to use, nice people to chat with. Keep it up, guys!

I joined to chat to people the site is full of scammers i uploaded picture supplied email for confirmation moths later they decide to change the rules i needed to up load proof of who i am bank statement or drivers lience if you don't do you are banned then yes i was banned seems ok cupid are the worse scammers around

I had problems with this site for many reasons,

1. The women werent very pleasant. You cant even talk to them let alone even have a good time talking.

2. the matching system is completely destroyed by members not giving a $#*! about the questions answered.

3. not enough women around the area to even hangout or meet up with.

4. hard breakups happen on this site for no reason.

Did a browse of female matches, 10 year age spread & with 500 miles of where I live and online within the last year, those were the only filters I used. I live in CO and not a single match in the entire state. No single women on the site in the entire state of Colorado or New Mexico!

I met a ton of nice guys on this site and even had a boyfriend for two years. After we split I found my forever love on this site as well. We dated for 3 years and were married we will be celebrating our first anniversay this year

Hey everyone. OKCupid BLOWS. On the one hand, I've met several women from the site, and am grateful for that. But I've had to create numerous new profiles after randomly being deleted; sometimes my profile stays, but I cannot send messages anymore, or receive them anymore. And women can complain about anything they want -- fuzzy pictures or what they consider too-overt/forward messages (such as, "Do you like older men?" -- and the numbskulls at OKCupid just boot men from the site. But if you're a woman with a picture of a lake or some young idiot with your middle finger up (gee, how original), you're never, ever, ever kicked off. And, OKCupid NEVER gives you a warning, or a chance to respond to or dispute a complaint.
SITE SUCKS!

A good deal of the women are people using the site to practice English. I once talked a married woman who admitted to switching locations to talk to people, but she never met anyone. She would claim Paris, New York, LA to name a few. I have seen many women 'LOOKING FOR SERIOUS DATING" they are in the Los Angeles area then suddenly they are in another state or country. Currently talking to a fake, that's using Megan Good's images, including a one from a 6 yr old movie premier. This ones likely a lonely ugly old lady. The english is pretty good. It very well could be an employee of OK CUPID. They said, I report them and nothing is getting done. Never said a word. A lucky guess or a paid BOT.

I've recently been on this site through a recommendation and to be frank it just the same as pof first thing I have to say it that they ask too many personal questions
Most women on there are too picky yet again this is why I hate online dating so much is because they want to meet someone who isn't average looking which really pisses me off

So yet if your an average looking guy then don't bother with ok cupid or pof because they are bad as each other

I found the profile questions very disturbing. Many of the questions are far left leaning, such as, do you support separating children from their families at the border, do you support LGBTQ, do you believe in climate change, etc. These questions are like an entrance exam to some Marxist antiAmerican, Antiwhite christian male club. I will not be using this trash.

Not sure on the purpose of the Paid and Premium $99 for 3 months membership.
A rip off as you get 1x Free Superlike a day, then you have to pay more money to contact people...
These Superlikes are far from cheap.

Or like Tinder swipe right and hope for the best.
It's full of fake profiles, most peole are not resident in the country they claim to be in.

Contacting customer services - Well you have more chance of getting a reply from a paid Superlike!

It all started on a Thursday night. I was swiping through faces till I came across a face that would change my life and change my anus. At the time I did not know that this mugshot picture would be the face of the daddy to my future babies. To be fair, he does not know it yet too. I rate 9.5/10.

I had a profile on there. My brother also had one. A woman sent me a very abusive email just out of the blue... and I mean very abusive. I responded in my usual smart-$#*! self (what do expect when a 72 year old woman abuses you and her profile states that she's looking for 35 year olds). I wasn't abusive. I just pointed out how wrong she was about me and should go back to searching for 35 year olds. I got my account deleted by the site. My brother got his account deleted by the site because I was at his place and they blocked the IP. There was no message from the site except to say that I was reported and blocked and that was the end of the matter. I realise now that I should have reported the woman instead. But the fact that they deleted my brother's profile too is uncalled for. Basically the site will let women abuse you, but dont you dare stand up for yourself because you'll just end up blocked. My advice? Go to "plenty of fish" instead.

OKCUPID is free! I found a good woman and we are into our seventh month together and all is well. It wasn't easy. I had to figure out who the scammers are and who the real ones are. Worth the effort because I tried the traditional methods and never managed to find a good woman. I found one because of OKCUPID! YAY!
