This sight is a waste! I had one guy message me last Thursday and he seemed very nice and told me how beautiful I was. We decided to meet on Saturday for drinks. He seemed to come on strong and I started to feel uncomfortable. By Monday he was texting me he loved me! When I told him there was no way he could feel that way so soon he proceeded to tell me he wanted to gag me with his c**k and piss down my throat! Disgusting CREEP!

Used to be a premium dating service, advertised as 100% free. There is NO option to search for a potential mate. THEY will tell you who THEY have selected for you! I did not realize that we have become some third world country, like China or India! You can't view the pictures of members who have viewed your profile, without "upgrading" (they want your money). They have a dual standard when uploading photos, apperently women can post anything, including photos of kids and grandchildren with exposed faces. (Pedophiles love that!)

I used to use this site down south and it was much better. I dont know if its not as effective for me for setting up dates because its generally worse overall or because I moved to Glasgow. I've started using wejustfit after I read an article about a couple that met on that site and its a case of so far, so good. Even if it doesn't end up my long term choice, it proves that theres no point in being loyal to OkCupid forever and thinking that nothing is better just because they spend lots on advertising. It always pays to stay on the ball. You wouldnt keep paying for your broadband service if it wasn't working for weeks at a time now would you?

Yeah as other men have stated, Unless you are 6 foot 4 + and rake in 300k + a year you will not fare to well with this. I rate about a 7/10 looks wise but apparently still not good enough for "average" looking American women which to whom I should say that being skinny does not automatically make you attractive! Anyway, Are you serious in finding a partner? Have a little extra money? Then look for a Russian woman, They are 10X more attractive than western women and they are actually interested in you. Tried a few days ago for the first time. Found the questions Interesting - its a way of gettting to know someone. BUT there seem to be major problems with logging in to you account. The password retrieval system mostly does not work, and then all the work you've put into you page is wasted. Having looked at several other sites recently I suspect that many of the profiles are run by site computer. One paying site I tried I had about15 hits in the first couple of hours - and I am no Adonis. So how many of those women exist only in the computer?. The DTI needs to check this industry out - there appears to be a real possibility of some of these sites being scams.

Main plus point with OkCupid is youre not being constantly asked for a one night stand people here seem to get that this isnt a cheap, NSA site, which is definitely nice. The only other site that I've found that keeps things clean and still fun is wejustfit.com. Another thing about OkCupid is the choice of numbers on the site it's super busy. I'd like to see better features but their offline meet ups are a step in the right direction, they just need to do more new things like that.

If you are a normal straight or gay person then this app is not for you, most of the people who use this app are fairytale genders and ok cupid encourages it as well, so yeah that's all that needs to be said really. Like many other apps before it, it used to be good but once everything started getting woke and lame well so did this app, it encourages make-believe genders and poly which is disgusting.

So to end if you are a normal straight or gay person then you will not find anything on this app for you, although if you have a mental illness then this app is perfect for you.

My account was banned for no reason. I hadn't even communicated with a match yet! My photos were entirely appropriate - simple headshots. The only thing out of the ordinary was that I could not get a transaction for a one-month only subscription to process and emailed a polite inquiry to customer service about it. Apparently, the mere act of complaining about the website not working was enough to be banned from OkCupid. Be warned, you can spend hours answering 500 questions to help OkCupid's matching formula and they'll ban you for no reason whatsoever. All your matches churned to dust. All your hard work in building a profile wiped out without recourse.

About 51/2 years ago I was in to the process of getting divorce and I was not going to be in to a relationship any time soon. But little did I know, my friend sign me in to okcupid and I started to look at people and ask question here and there and here I am 5 years later with the most awesome husband I could've ask for and most of all we were bless with two little ones! Okc is a good site to meet people however some profiles are fake and you will scammed just like my stupid butt was! SmilingKenna is a fake profile that I fell for. Military, single parent, widowed. Don't know if the crook removed the profile or okc either way beware!

I met a guy in May and we started a relationship. Atleast we said it was. He uses his daughter as and excuse not to spend time together so he can dates multiple women. He disappeared alot. This website has no way to verify if person's picture is real. There are many options of software that verifies images uploaded with actual user's face. I reported several times fake profile, but Okcupid did not close that account. No reaction from this company. I actually found real person on Facebook whose pictures and name was stolen to create fake Okcupid account. That person also contacted Okcupid and demended to remove this profile. Still nothing was done. Its creepy and dangerous. Be aware single ladies and gentlemen!

I haven't chosen anyone from there yet. However, I think it's the best app I've ever seen, because I'm able to write endless description about myself to make sure only the relevant ones will send me a msg haha :) also happy to have a match percentage there and actually I go through this often before I reply to anyone

Online dating is no big deal for me. I don't think it makes you a loser. Two of my friends are in happy relationships with people they met online through OKCupid. However, I'm sort of a hipster when it comes to these things and this was definitely not the place to find smart, quirky girls that like indie rock and reading books. I stopped using the site when it started glitching on me and I couldn't log in. No big deal loss to me though.

I've been trying out online dating on and off for a few years now and used several sites including Match, POF and Zoosk. I find OKC has the best matching system and overally design for ease-of-use. The site is free to join and send messages. But you can subscribe to additional services e.g. invisible browsing, for £20 a month free, which i thought was pretty reasonable.
In terms of users, the site is filled with the usual insecure, bitter men who flip when you don't respond to their messages within the hour. In particular watch out for the user voxoid1313 who is eternally 36 and single. When in actual fact he is 43 and has a girlfriend and son who he fails to mention on his profile. He is also unemployed and not exactly a musician... rather he plays the same old songs to the elderly at nursing homes. He will draw you in with his web of lies and then spit you out. So just keep your eyes and ears open and date safe!

I like that this site asks you questions and while it suggests who is a close match you can see the answer the other person gave and come to your own conclusion.
I didnt want a site that allowed a computer to solely pick my match. As with any dating site you will have "a few" issues but This was by the far the best site for value and accuracy that I have found.

Unless you subscribe, you can't see who has liked you. For $19.95 for one month, you can see this but can't read any messages that have been sent you. For that you'll need to pay $25 for one month. Be careful if you do this, I tried and got signed up for 3 months. To see a profile, $3. Luckily I made an error on credit card info and escaped the $25.
