I purchased 4 Crash Action Remanufactured wheels. The wheels came in defective and looks like someone sprayed them in their garage. Very poor customer service! They want me to file a claim and wait for review or I can purchase replacement wheels again while the claim is processed. I was trying to upload photos on the claim and it only allows 1 photo, I have 4 defective wheels! I purchased through PayPal so I filed a claim.
Parts Geek sent me the wrong catalytic convertor then when I contacted them about the issue they tried to blame it on me. Going by the part description and the picture they were wrong. I contacted them about a return. They approved the return and emailed me a return code and instructions. Did everything they asked to the T for this return and I'm getting bull crap responses about getting my refund. Never ordering from them again. Terrible system
I ordered a power steering pressure hose that was supposed to be in stock and delivered to me within 3 business days. As it turns out it wasn't in stock and they sent me an updated email stating I would get the part in 7 to 10 days, by this time I already had the vehicle fixed and on its way so before the part ever made it to my home I refuse delivery of it with the mailman. Over a month later PartsGeek claims they never received the part back from usps or FedEx or whoever shipped it back to them and no refund no nothing. So now I'll just let my credit card company handle it because I'm tired of calling these people and getting absolutely nowhere. Don't waste your time there are plenty of websites to get parts from besides these clowns.
I would never buy from again and I would never recommend, They never shipped my parts and after a phone call I had to call them back to see where my parts were the next day they couldn't even give me that courtesy. It has been 4 weeks no money back and no part. Work truck sitting waiting for part lost more money by far then what the part is worth. Poorly run company. Just so you know this is not made up here is my order # *******714
I order a part from geek parts geek parts used FedEx to ship the part to me. Well to make a long story short Geek parts/FedEx stated the package was delivered on a Tuesday 8/23/2016, but my first email from geek parts said it would be delivered on Thursday 8/25/2016. Well the packaged was never located not I am having to go between geek parts and FedEx to locate or find out what happen to my order. But the only thing Geek parts would say is I can order another part. (Really) (?) I don't have money like that. I went to the web sight because I was told the parts are cheaper. But if I order a new one I would be paying what the part cost at AutoZone and other places. Please I need a little help and understanding. I don't have the extra money to just keep buying parts that are lost by the shipping that Geek parts chose
I ordered a transmission overhaul kit for a 1991 sl 500 Mercedes from parts geek. I was shipped a set of chevy 3.0 valve cover gaskets. I had to return the shipment in order to get a refund for the transmission overhaul kit I did not receive. When I received the refund for the transmission over haul kit I was charged tax and shipping due to their error. I contacted customer service and they denied the refund for shipping. World Pac fulfills the order under the name Parts Geek and uses third party fulfillment centers to ship. I will never buy anything from Parts Geek again.
Ordered camshaft position sensor. Installed next day. Car would start but would not run. Spent day taking car apart and reinstalling again. Same result. Reinstalled old part, car not perfect but runs and can be driven. When I read how to send back and their rules while getting their number so I could return it becomes clear they insulate themselves as much as possible from any complaints. Don't believe the reviews on their site. You can believe the ones here because they they match my experience.
Parts don't fit vehicle advertised. Customer service doesn't respond.
It's up to me to pay for shipping a part to me and to return it, based on false advertising on their web site as to vehicle fitment.
Part was also poorly packaged.
After entering in all the specs for my vehicle I purchased a part that said was compatible. Upon trying to install the part on my vehicle I found that they shipped me a part from a completely different model. I tried to contact PartsGeek to return the item and they said they would neither pay to get it shipped back or refund the shipping amount for the incorrect part they shipped me.
I had to pay $12.95 to get it shipped to me and now they want me to pay another $25+ to ship the incorrect part back to them. Completely ridiculous. I could not be more dissatisfied with how PartsGeek is handling this. Customer service is unwilling to do anything to try to rectify their mistakes which is the reason for this review.
Will never give PartsGeek my business after this incident.
Holy crap, I bought a $500 set of power steering lines and the bag, packed into a box, was opened and had one of the two hoses. Now I have to wait and hope. No phone, no people, just the evil internet.
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
