I was very disappointed with the grill i bought i spent over and hour and a 1/2 with a dermal tool and a bench grinder and numerous tries to get it to fit, the slots for the bolts had so much residue on them i used the dermal file and utility knife to get the bolts to go into the slots. The bolts they give you are to thick to fit into the slot. I had to use the originals but when i went to put the grill in only 1/2 would line up. I had to grind those down to make them go all the way to the end of the slot so they would line up with the holes, I got those lined up but, only half of the studs laid in the hood enough to get nuts on them. I looked at the grill in the hood and 1 side was not laying into the crease for the hood. I then had to take the grill out and sand down the outer edge so it would lay properly in the hood. After numerous tries i was able to get it to lay properly but could only get 6 of the 7 nuts. I spent an hour and 1/2 of my life that i'll never get back. Remember you get what you pay for so pay a lot. Its amazing that to me that the sellers of this crap don't raise there standards. I restored my 69 Camaro and it was the same storey everything had to be altered to make it fit. The car has 182k on it otherwise ill buy original parts. If Toyota used these parts it would take them 2 days to build a car. I would not recommend these parts
ORDER A PART FROM HERE AND PAID 50 EXTRA TO HAVE OVER NIGHTED TO ME ON A THURSDAY AND STILL HAVE NOT SEEN THE ORDER TWO WEEKS LATER. ORDER OFF OF A DIFFERNT SITE AND RECIVED MY OTHER ITEMS WITHOUT OVERNIGHT SHIPPING AND GOT ALL 6 OTHER PARTS ON NORMAL SHIPPING (NOT THRU PARTSGEEK.COM) IN 4 DAYS. CALLED AND SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NOTHING THERE WILLING TO DO FOR ME AND WHERE NOT WILLING TO SWITCH THE SHIPPING TO NORMAL AND OR CREDIT ME.
They advertise free shipping.Guess what, they state [NOT ON EVERYTHING] Sneaky practices, stay away.Dont waste your time. They are rated 911.th among auto part sites!
I purchased 2 CV axle shafts. Both turned out to be the wrong shafts, one packaged in the correct part box that I ordered. I checked the parts for damage when they arrived and found nothing broken. The shafts appeared to be correct judging by the one end that I could verify from looking at the shafts on the car. By the time I got to work on the car due to my using it for work... how many of you have multiple vehicles that you can have one laided up?... the 30 day return period had passed. Needless to say, when I removed the shafts from the car I found that both shafts had the wrong transaxle ends... which you can't see until removed from the car. Even the email I received to review the product had the correct part numbers I had ordered... confirmed on their web site. They would have nothing to do with the problem and that I should have known that the part was wrong. They would hear nothing about wrong parts being sent in correctly marked packages. Under NO circumstances buy products from this company. They take no responsibility for their screwups and you end up wasting your time contacting them and getting on the proverbial pat on the head... "We'll set up a ticket to review your issue." Again, I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PARTS GEEK!
I ordered a remanufactured starter for my 08 Duramax. Obviously, I don't expect a remanufactured part to come all shiny and brand new looking BUT I don't expect that part to come rusted, corroded, and with a broken terminal. I filed the return and got my RMA number from them the same day I received the part. I had paid 100 for the part and then told them I wanted a pre paid shipping label to return because I had nothing to do with their mistake. After a few emails I caved and just shipped it back myself. Id rather have my full part cost than spend my time arguing over the shipping. In an email they asked for my tracking number so they could verify shipment and then refund my card. AFTER saying that, they THEN asked for a picture of the item, I complied. I included the picture in this review, you can clearly see the part is still inside the box with the original packing paper and shipping slip. This is where they lost all integrity for me. They then proceed to tell me that they didn't send me that part, that I took off my installed starter, sent a picture of that, boxed it up, paid the return shipping fee, and I'm claiming my old starter is what they shipped me. They now have the part and are "examining" it but will likely not refund me because they "would not ship a part in that condition". Accountability and integrity are what makes a business. I understand that people make mistakes and that's ok, but own it and correct it. Problem solved. WORST customer service I have ever experienced and will NEVER give them my business again and NEVER recommend them to anyone.
Ordered a bumper cover which was a great price, until checkout. After hitting the submit payment button, price skyrocketed from $60 to $150 (delivery charge) which was not shown till after payment was submitted. Called and they said I'd have to reject delivery, which I did, and still got charged even after disputing it. So now I have no part (which i paid for) and still have been charged $150.
Bull$h! T! DO NOT OREDER THROUGH PARTS GEEK! TOTAL RIPOFF!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Like the title says, I tried to order a water pump for my 1995 bmw 325i. When I got to the checkout, it would not accept my American Express prepaid card. It kept saying the billing address was wrong like they had knowledge of the card beforehand. I tried several times to order my part. I even called American Express customer service to see if my card was fine. During the call, it said I had $92.00 from the total $100 the card started out with. Confused, I went to check my card's balance history online. It turns out, all the times my card wasn't "accepted", Parts Geek charged me for it! "PARTS GEEK LIMITED LIABIL - Purchase (AXP) w/ Bal Return & AVS" I got this message 8 Times! They stole $8 from my card! I sent them a nice letter to see if I can get my money back. I doubt they will respond... EDIT: I talked to a customer service rep. Apparently, they only cards that have addresses assigned to them. And here I am sitting with $92 and $8 Parts Geek is holding for liability reasons... Never using this garbage site again.
Here is there picture from there ad. Then after you purchase they send 1 lens. Misleading much? Then won't allow a return. Bad vendor.
Ordered rotors and brakes. They gave me two different size rotors and missing brake clips $#*! company will never buy anything from them again!

I who love my vehicles and care for them needed a pump for a vehicle 1990 - 2000 - ordered - waited for 2 weeks for delivery - wrong part - gurr - summited for return authorization - never got one - called to seek the RA#, was told they don't refund - my loss - NEVER again - worthless thieving company - hahahaha an then when you try to complete this comment - they want you you to upload your receipt - if not, your entry is at the end of the list - yo with over 900 negative comments doesn't really matter - shame on me on not checking reviews - but in AMERICA we honor our customers -- ummm NOT getting a receipt, to what harasse me -
Stay away from this company, I had a legitimate reason to return a damaged tool box, but they would not work with me at all.
The product that I ordered received it and it was wrong then had to pay for my own shipping which they would not refund terrible company stay away
Well when you try use a coupon code they say its expired (12/9/18) how can it be expired. I was trying to order motor mounts.

Sent wrong part and want me to pay return shipping. I will be opening a case through my credit card company. This is fraud to the max.
The worst Auto parts company ever. You will never receive your order. They lie about the shipping.

Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
