They take money out of your account when they are not supposed to, it's NOT unlimited calls, half the time the inmate can NOT get through, and the letters take forever to get to the inmate. I have had this company since March and have nothing but trouble. My boyfriend has NOT been able to reach me in 5 days but has been able to reach other family members through another company. I have called them numerous times about this and they keep telling me it will be fixed and they are working on it. I am extremely frustrated and they don't refund you, so I am stuck with this non working company

I thought this was a great idea to keep in contact with love ones. The ability to share photos and keep some kind of contact with your love one really helps family. And hopefully it sends some kind of hope and makes your love one a better day.

This is the worst the phone calls are the same as gtl connect network pigeonly rep said its. 10 cents per minutes well we only get 15 minutes so you do the math... it's the same price 1.50 I'm not saving $#*! then you're charging me 7.99 to have a subscription for what? So far I have really been impressed and pleased with Pigeonly, the letter I wrote my dad, was typed and sent so fast, they update you to let know your letters have been sent and delivered and when it get a there! I love that, I am still waiting on my dad to call but he the letter just got there so it may be a few days but so far the rates are Great and I me being a daddy's girl and yes even at the age of 41 I miss him like crazy, thanks Pigeonly! I have had a very positive experience using pigeonly. They are very fast and are great at keeping you updated on where things are, such as letters being delivered and at what time. I would recomend to everyone.
The web pages flow easily, account set up and navigation were a breeze. Im disappointed that after i joined and agreed to pay a monthly reoccurring bill... i was taken to another page where it was a 3rd party and had an additional bill to pay to the jail. I understand its separated as its different businesses all together. Its just nice to know that once you agree to everything... the agreement changes on the next page after providing Credit Card info and being charged.
I recently found out about this Townsend my fiance pictures to get through this time away and I'm hoping he is getting them.

I signed up to see what it was about supposed to be a 3 day trial well in website says you can cancel after you see the charges for monthly subscription then 24.99 I think for a number well I never got the number when trying to cancel kept taking me back so I emailed was called after the 3 day trial and said i never agreed to the 24.99 number still got charged. Many people after i learned this told me there all over charged and its multiple charges in one month. I would advise you just go thru the jails system and not here. This place is a complete RIP off. And all these false good reviews. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. I've turned my complaint over to better business bureau it's bad enough its expensive to talk to a loved one in jail and send things to. And you have a company like this that rips you off. They will blow you up with emails too.

Phone number have glitches and sometime don't work. Inmate will call and number will say it's disconnected. Theu will say call BK in 48 hrs, they'll reset them number if it still doesn't work they will give you a new number. How is that convenient for the inmate? Me? Keep you on hold for 30 plus minutes. It's a horrible learning experience. Stay away from Pigeonly

Sometimes the facilities/providers experience outages making it difficult for calls to connect which is why sometimes the inmate hears a busy signal when trying to call. There are also different protocols for our number to be active and ready for use depending on your loved ones facility. This is why we try to give the number at least 24 hours to be active. Other times the facility just won't accept our best rate number which is why we then issue you a different number with a different prefix. I know it can be very frustrating but our main goal is to provide you with a working, active number that the facility will accept AND our customer can save on each call. Sometimes depending on the facility it can take a couple tries, so we ask for patience on those special cases. We also have had a very high call volume due to the demand of our services. Since then we have expanded our time making hold times a lot less. If you'd like to give us another try for free please give us a call and use reference code 8231. I'm glad I found Pigeonly. Pigeonly services are great to use to send a letter to your loved someones. I personally live in Canada and you have no clue when the letter is delivered until your loved someones tell you so. With Pigeonly, you can send 4 pages of text, it takes around 4 days to deliver and you get notified when it's delivered.

My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations. Answer: I have it and for the first month worked fine now not working so I just went and got a cell # in his area and said forget it not paying for a service that does not work And when you call customer service they keep saying they are working on the issue and it has been 5 days since my first call saying it wasn't working they are letting you get through for about a month then assigning the # to someone else attaching it to that persons number a big, Ole scam do not use them
Answer: You can send a postcard or letter to your loved one and include your assigned number. Or give them the number the next time they call. Also a lot of jails have implemented emails.
