I bought something in the picture its looks like it is 4 feet long when i got it it was 4' long & they would not take it back or give me back my money
Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

Poshmark always sides with sellers even when they are wrong. I purchased a pair of shoes described as "purple" the photos were definitely purple. When I received the shoes which still has the original tag on the bottom they were a dark cranberry. The tag listed the color as rich cranberry. While I wasn't seeking a refund because it's dang near impossible to get I left negative feedback which the seller disputed. Poshmark requested photos which I provided. I even provided a stock photo of the item from the brands website which showed my photo was accurate and sellers was way off. Posh sided with the seller even though I stayed I wasn't seeking a refund. They should hold their sellers responsible for photos that are clearly off as that should fall under item not as described. They started out as a fun site to buy on but after this last fiasco I'm through buying anything on there. At least their competitors are not color blind and care about the buyers a bit more than posh. It's ridiculous.
I ordered a product on Poshmark and created an account. When I received an email from the seller with a link to a message for me, I was unable to log into my account. I emailed Poshmark, but they don't answer. After 2 weeks I still have not received my package and have no idea where it is or how to find out.
Company does not care about their customers. I purchased a pair of running shoes described and shown as being in like new used condition, with no visible flaws and tread that made it look like they had only been worn a couple of times. Well, the shoes began to split apart between the sole and upper after wearing them once on the first day. The listing had made no mention or shown any pictures of this defect, but it's clear this was a problem the seller knew about and had attempted to hide by re-gluing the shoe where it was coming apart. I opened a case the next day and poshmark said it was my fault because I wore them. I guess it's my fault for putting shoes on my feet, moving around in them, and expecting them to stay intact. $115 wasted on my end and poshmark's idea of making it right was giving me $5 credit. I'm sure there are plenty of good deals to be found on poshmark, but it's clear they won't stand by you when the shady ones happen.

Purchased a John Hardy sterling silver 22k gold bracelet that was in excellent condition on eBay. The bracelet was sent to eBay GIA department and passed inspection.
The bracelet was relisted on PoshMark. I used the eBay's sellers photos and exact description. When the bracelet sold, it went to PoshMark's concierge department. The bracelet was approved by PoshMark and sent to the buyer. The buyer stated that the bracelet was not as described and had two dents on it that were not disclosed in the listing. PoshMark approved the sellers case and the bracelet is being returned back to me.
The John Hardy bracelet went from eBay directly to PoshMark. The box was unopened.
Had this been any other seller, the case would have been declined.
Every single time a buyer opens a case against me, buyers win 100% of the time.
Will not me return a brand new item. I have opened a dispute with credit card company. Stay away from this place...
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything from this company. No customer service , returns are a scam

Once a month poshmark asks me (everybody) to review reported listings and mark whether or not I agree a certain listing is a reproduction. What do I know about the difference beween an authentic Coach bag and a reporduction? I just press, YES, YES YES. I Agree. I Agree. They are ALL reproductions. If they want to ask me stupid questions then they can get stupid answers.Normally the reported listings are just from disgruntled shoppers trying to make trouble... Poshmark is run by clowns. They should call themselves circustime
Poshmark has become overrun with scammers, aggressive sellers, and an unstructured marketplace. The mystery box sales and drawings are essentially forms of gambling, where participants are not guaranteed to receive anything of value. How are these items even shipped or marked as "sold" in such cases? Deceptive behavior with no ramifications. This type of operation is a gamble, which raises serious LEGAL and ETHICAL concerns.
The algorithm is highly biased, favoring certain users or aggresive behaviors for example sellers who use manipulation techniques that would not otherwise be allowed in a professional business who collects taxes. The platform is filled with sellers desperate to offload items at rock-bottom prices, devaluing brands (very often using brand names to fabricate keychains, tumblers, home decor that has a lux trademark but not actually made by that line and lowering the overall quality or value of the marketplace. Poshmark is rapidly becoming a spam-heavy, disorganized platform. Drawings, mystery boxes, raffles should not exist or be permissible on a platform where buyers pay taxes. This is a disturbing behavior now becoming prolific in live shows.
Customer service is notably nonexistent, often responding with generic, auto-generated emails sent by a "posh ambassador" with no formal training in reciprocating customer service. The platform is prolifically turning into a gambling site rather than a resale community. The live show hosts especially display troubling and disturbing selling tactics, as sellers frequently employ tactics that resemble bribery, pressuring viewers to buy. Mystery boxes, drawings, raffles or anything of that nature should be closely monitored during live shows for ethical violations and legal violations, as it is considered illegal activity of gambling. There is alot of unprofessional and unethical activity on this platform especially for LIVE shows. Again, Poshmark needs to be closely monitored for illegal activities, spammy behaviors, and the subliminal gambling activities especially live shows. There are no ramifications for this type of activity or are the community guidelines intentionally neglected by Poshmark CEO and "supporting" officers or whatever they're called.
Sold pair of Kate Spade shoes. Bubble wrapped and bagged shoes. Buyer complained of "crease" on side of shoe. Absolute nonsense.and Poshmark agreed with the buyer. This would not be such a big deal if the site was more productive.but it's gone down hill in the last couple of years.due to the Live Show additions and in general, both buyers and sellers are more into scamming then being authentic. The fees are high and customer service is almost non existent. I sell 4 times as much on eBay and can actually talk to a live person. Also in researching items, the algorithm does not function well. I am almost glad this happened as I am shutting my account down.too much work, too little reward.
I sold my expensive sauna which I purchased for nearly $2,000 and sold for less than $500!
It's been a month since I shipped it and I emailed Poshmark over 100+ times, wrote 2 negative complaints on Better Business Bureau and they still claim "they need time to investigate".
They just don't want to pay.
I am also a Posh Ambassador 2 but it means NOTHING TO THEM!
I bought a pair of pants. In the ad, the seller claimed the pants were size 38 waist. When I received the pants they were a size 32. Mistakes happen so I initiated a return. It wasn't enough for them to review the ad a look at the photo I sent with a tape measure showing the actual waist size. They want natural light photos, perfectly placed pants with no wrinkles, photos of the inseam, waist, rise, and length, and they wanted it within 48 hours. I sent them what they requested, and their response was to request the same information again. They suck at returns. I have cancelled my account that has been active for 8 years.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of PoshMarks return policy.

This is the absolute WORST, WORST, WORST company EVER! Don't walk...RUN from doing business with Poshmark! I purchased a belt that was NOT in excellent condition as the seller described. Good luck trying to return ANY item. I followed their return policy to the letter and instead of kindly accepting my return, they make you jump through hoops asking for more pictures which was ridiculous in my case since the problem wasn't visual...the belt was worn and stiff which wouldn't be reflected in a photo. When I made this point to them they ignored me. They refused to answer me so I wrote another message asking for an update to my response...again...silence. Finally the only response I DID get was a denial of my return. I WAS FLABBERGASTED! Are you kidding me? In this day and age of companies focusing on the customer experience, this company is doing the opposite over a $60 BELT!
Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Buy on Ebay, Amazon or any of the other thousands of companies that let you return an item!
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I am a newbie at Poshmark. Set up an account yesterday. Started listing a few items and things started going crazy! Emails and different message popping up wanting info about this or that. Then I got a message saying someone wanted to purchase an item. Okay. I got an email that said I had to click a link indicating I accepted their offer, which brought me back to the Poshmark website. When I got back to their website a customer e]service chat box opened. It all went down hill from there. The person doing the chatting told me I had to add a credit card to my account so money could be loaded and said credit card HAD to have a balance of $200 to verify the credit card was legitimate. Stupid me, I loaded money onto a credit card since we keep zero balances on our cards. Scam. They took the $200 and then tried to get another $200! I tried to find a Postmark customer service area and sent them a message. Not sure if I'll hear back or get my money back.
As a 5 star seller and Posh ambassador, I was scammed by Poshmark. After selling 2 fun bags they cancelled the sales. I had already mailed the bags to sellers. Both sellers received their bags and owe me my earnings. Poshmark is now run by schemers and scammers that refuse to right all the wrongs. I have sold many of these bags on their site before. My hunch is scammers convinced them to cancel sales after my bags started postal tracking.
I recently purchased a pair of tennis shoes from Poshmark since I have worn several pairs of the same shoes before and needed a fresh pair. The shoes were in my usual size and when I tried to put my foot into them, they were too small and would not fit. I was asked for photos of the problem of the miss labeled size and because I have several pairs of the shoes, I was able to show the difference in size between them. Poshmark said that they did not receive multiple emails of photos that I sent them and closed my case! I was told to re-sell the shoes to someone who would have the same problem that I had! They are disreputable and I warn anyone that this could happen to them. I am out $56. For shoes that I cannot wear!
I bought a cream for my wife. We paid $7 to get it shipped. 2 days turned into 2 weeks before it arrived.
When we got it the contents were leaking from a broken container all over the plastic. The product was defective.
We are trying to get a refund, but they are making it extremely difficult. Don't ever do business with them. They cannot be trusted.
Tip for consumers:
They refuse to offer a refund for their broken product. Don't trust this company.

Bought a Large tote according to pictures and no measurements listed. Received a mini tote no bigger than a large sandwich bag. Refund denied. They took seller side because she's a high producer and offered me a $5 shopping credit after I spent $55 plus 7 in shipping
Tip for consumers:
That they made description and measurements clear

I recently purchased an expensive ivory designer gown. When it arrived there were obvious gold accents. Poshmark refused to stand behind their product guarantee.
Hello. If you want to sell something quick to pay rent, Poshmark is not it! It takes a lot of work and a lot of people who work for Poshmark will harrass you trying to see if you are legit. It will be worth it I am sure after a few months of sharing other people's stuff and your own stuff. I have been on Poshmark for months now and no sales. I have great stuff from my closet with tags still because I did not get to wear them. Great clean designer bags and no sales. I have reached posh ambassador status and still nothing! Horrible!
Rude people buying on there. Site does not handle the money, you pay them after we purchase. Have to have already $200-$500.
Tip for consumers:
Their policies should be more simple to understand.

When I tried to return a defective product, I was told to send it back to a California address which was $27.00 for postage. I received the package from a North Carolina address. To send it back to that address would have been $16.00. I shouldn't have had to pay any return postage for a return. I didn't receive any help from Poshmark. PayPal came to my rescue and made things right at their expense. I will never order from Poshmark again. I'm sticking with Amazon for all my purchases from now on.
Recieved a package from Poshmark Had no idea what it could be. Opened and it was a Louis Vuitton diaper bag! I am 63 years old. They ( Poshmark and seller) stated I bought from auction. In the few years that I had purchased from Poshmark, never ever did I participate in any auctions. What is frightening, is that they were able to charge my pay pal account. ( cause it's my preferred way of buying) scary. I explained I had no idea how that happened. I was a good buyer, payed fast. Had no interest in a diaper bag. Never participated in an auction. I have no idea how it was " liked " on my account. No other signs of looking for baby products or baby bags. They didn't care. As far as I am concerned they stole from me. I offered to pay shipping back. Disgusted with thieves in the internet. I will talk every one I can find from going on this site.
I bought something in the picture its looks like it is 4 feet long when i got it it was 4' long & they would not take it back or give me back my money
Customer bought a designer belt, in excellent condition. I had several photo's of the front and the back, NO damage! Close up photo's; I wanted to be transparent. Suddenly after 34 hours from delivery, there was suddenly damage-maybe from the shipping. What? I've sold A LOT and only have 5 star reviews. They didn't ask for additional pictures or even respond when I submitted comments. Just that they were allowing her to send it back. So now I have a damaged item... I won't be using them anymore. I emptied out my closet and I'm waiting to get paid from the last 3 items that were sent out this week to close the account completely. Unfortunate that they didn't do research. They just took this fraudulent customer's word for it.
Tip for consumers:
There is no actual customer service. Response is SLOW and they did no real research into the issue. Customer damaged my item and they didn't look at the photo's I took of the item BEFORE it was shipped and in that customer's possession. I enlarged the photo's and requested to send them in so they could see the condition before it left my possession. Never got a response until 4 days later saying she could return a damaged item to me. I guess they just want to waste money on shipping...

First the listing was deceiving thought I was buying two but actually one set of Xmas pjs for my dd on the 12th and seller has not responded to one message or shipped and Poshmark won't do one thing! You would think if the seller doesn't respond in at least 5 days Poshmark will cancel order but no they won't. So I'm out $55 Christmas pjs. I didn't have enough time to find matching so she is going to be the odd man out. So frustrating and Poshmark messages I swear are automated so there is no point even writing them! Will never purchase from them again!
Tip for consumers:
Just that Poshmark is non existent and they will not help no matter what the circumstances. Also they just decide to stop writing after two messages

Have been with this app for many years. Love it. Only complaint, these posh show notifications IN APP are super ANNOYING... can't turn them off, and they drown out more valuable notifications. I know there are tabs at the top for different things, but I don't want my main one overrun with show invites! I wish they would fix this- or at least let you opt out. Please fix, poshmark!
