Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

Poshmark will not be fair about resolving a dispute. They will side with their sellers who have a large inventory so as to keep them happy even when the seller has been dishonest and abusive. I bought some shoes from a seller which appeared to be fine in the pictures. Upon receipt, they were extremely stretched out and unwearable. I disputed it and sent them pictures of what I received. Their seller immediately accused me of taking the pictures in a way to misrepresent the condition. In the following conversation with her, she was combative, defensive and belligerent. Finally Poshmark stated that they were disapproving my dispute. They offered that I could resell them on their site. It would be dishonest to resell these shoes in such poor condition. They paid her my money
And left me with an expensive pair of shoes that are unwearable. I will never use their site again.

Do not purchase from Poshmark! Somehow I was told that I won an auction that I never entered!My credit card was used and charged. Either it is some kind of Poshmark scam or the seller got my bank info. In any case I had to close my bank account! Don't give them any info!

The advertised listing was misleading. I received the wrong color backpack. The listing had 5 pictures of a teal backpack and I received a black one. I opened a case with Poshmark to simply return the item and have them issue a refund since they were discrepanies in the listing but case closed with no explanation. One can not list multiple pictures in the listing of one color and then send a different color and only stating in small print --all black. What is all black. The inside, the box being shipped, or the zippers, etc.? The pictures should match the item and match the small print. Otherwise, what is the purpose of the pictures? ALSO the title stated nothing of the color of the item which is the first and best representation of the product. Small print is for more details and further description of the condition, not to see if the pictures are not accurately represented. Also on Poshmark, I made an offer and then they automatically accepted and shipped it immediatley before I even authorized the sale-- within minutes. These are not standard fair business practices. Again, I would like a refund or be provided a free return shipping label and I will gladly return the item for the refund.

The pictures are the one I recieved and the second picture is the showing the color of backpack in the listing.

I dont really get this platform, there is no verification of authenticity (so well ok, its like ebay), no requirements to photos sellers provide like quality, quantity and that pics should be their own, not pasted from products' websites, lots of things are missing proper description and just as well copied from the website. They say that customer has to ask questions seller, so up to what point should I interview a seller? I wanted to find one Reformation dress that was sold out on the official website and I found plenty of offers, but the thing is that for the same dress of the same colour there were about 5 different tags types on the pics of different sellers, so I believe there are a lot of fakes there. Also its very concerning when someone has 7000 items in listings and they are from all different brands and sizes. So this person took them from where? Some China fakes I assume.

Let buyer return item due to smoke oder claim. I don't smoke. Pretty sad a buyer can put in false claim and get by with it. I'll stick with Ebay

I place an order on a Sunday morning. I did my research and found a few different places to purchase, one of which offered free delivery. I decided to check one more site, Poshmark. They offered the item that I wanted at a cheaper price, but didn't give me options for shipping quotes. I decided to start the order since sometimes that option is only presented at the very end. But when I press to continue thinking that I was going to be taken to delivery options, the system told me that the purchase had been completed. The final prize was much higher than any other sites because of a ridiculous high shipping cost that I didn't even approve or was offered as an option. I emailed customer service department to cancel the order. I received an automatic email acknowledging received of my cancellation request. But 24 hours later, they emailed me telling me that the item had been shipped, and they could not cancel the order, which is weird since my cancellation request had been made 24 hours prior, on a Sunday, within minutes after ordering. About a week later, I received the item, and not only was the bag where it came in broken, and the packaging for the item opened, but it was a completely different item of lesser value and quality. At that point, I requested a return, to wish they replied that they were not going to accept my return Because the item had never been misrepresented. I sent them screenshots of the order with the description and picture on their website of what I order, and pictures of what I actually ended up receiving, which are two completely different items. I also sent pictures of the opened package, which points out to the fact that it was not even brand new as they advertised. They refused to accept the return, and they even have the audacity to say that as long as their description is accurate, they will not accept returns, even If the item I receive doesn't fit their own description, which makes no sense, and only shows how professional company, and how they are out there only to deceive and deceive. In their eyes, the item you purchased doesn't have to be the same that you ordered or in the condition they advertise it as long as you receive something. I had to contact my American Express to dispute the charge, which they responded by saying that is not uncommon from such companies. I would never recommend anybody to do business with these company. It's a scam.

I purchased an item from postmark and it was damaged when I received it. I replied several times to either get a new item delivered to me that was not broken or send a refund and I never received either. I urge you not to order anything from them. They send damaged products and don't care about their customers!

I have tried to contact customer service several times to get my items listed in my closet. However, I keep getting an error and will not that me post. I haven't gotten any response in three weeks. I will be closing my account due to the poor customer service support for the seller.

I've been ripped off many times. The last time I was sent a pair of cargo pants that were advertised at size 36 waist. Although they turned out to be a 34 having been shrunk after many years of poor use. They were t even fit to throw away.

Place an order get it confirmed. They set item price they set shipping price then they reneg on item bought stating shipping costs. They set the shipping cost not me. If they under estimated cost of shipping it is on them. Their mistake not mine. They refund so they can make more money reselling.they take no responsibility for their mistake. They accepted payment then arbitrarily refund. What about my loss of use of my funds. What about their legal liability to delivery goods paid for.

Poshmart is just a site that supports people scamming each other. No matter how much documentation and proof you have, they dont care. They allow sellers to lie, cheat, and steal and when you ask for a return they deny it. In my case a seller sent me stained shoes saying i can easily clean them off. I tried cleaning them, it didn't work and i want a refund. Im denied a refund because i tried to clean them?! This company is illiterate and shouldn't be able to scam people like this. This is a perfect opportunity for a refund. Sellers shouldn't be allowed to sell damaged products and i shouldn't be penalized for following the directions they allowed?

I purchased a men's sports jersey as a gift but we did not discover it was a woman's jersey until the recipient opened several weeks later. However, even though I notified Poshmark within minutes of discovering the problem, they denied all claims and stated the item was correct. So any deceit by the seller is acceptable by Poshmark, even it isn't obvious, unless you discover it immediately. Placing all of the responsibility on the buyer despite the clear mistake/fraud of the seller is the wrong way to do business.

They're so inconsistent with their return processes, it's ridiculous. Despite buying and selling thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on their site, they treat you like a crook & are super condescending. Plus they allow SO many fakes to be sold on their site (illegal btw) & do nothing about it when those fakes and pages are reported - probably turning a blind eye because they know they'll make money. The 20% they take from us is laughable considering how poor their customer service and communication is... an absolute joke, don't give them your hard earned money...

This shameful website is pure fraud and a scam Customer service only responds if you're willing to give them money but if you need help, a refund, any other problem that involves them actually working they will not answer you. I asked for my deposit back after I realized that this site was shady. They haven't responded in close to a week. But, when I wanted to open the account, I heard from them in 15 minutes. Needless to say I lost my deposit and am going to spread the word about this company to others so you don't make the mistake I did. These people have no conscience. Stay far away!

I ordered an 11 candle candelabra what I got with the four-inch toy and Poshmark does not want to authorize for me to return it. I would never buy anything from them again this is the worst customer service around there's no one who did speak to only by email.

I ordered a pair of shoes, identical to a pair I bought from Target, but in a different color. The shoes from target fit perfectly. The same shoe, same size that I ordered from Poshmark didn't fit. When I walked in them, my heels lifted out of the shoes. I requested to return them, as they do not fit and poshmark refused to allow me to return them. They told me I did not "qualify" for a return. Really? Having a shoe that does not fit correctly isn't a reason to allow me to return them. What a total rip off! I'd give a zero star if I could.

This company is a total rip off. What kind of company doesn't allow a person to return a brand new item if it doesn't fit?

This site is not safe for buyers. Too many scam and fake items they claim they authenticate items that are not real. When you make a claim it's very confusing design it's not user friendly and on top no Custumer services they will never get back or respond to your claim, you are basically on your own.

Poshmark Customer Service is the WORST. Bought an item. In my Poshmark account under the "Offers" tab there was a prize giveaway. Opened it up, I won something and just had to pay shipping. I checked and Poshmark gives prizes so I thought it was legit. Instead Poshmark let some 3rd party scammer into my account and lie that I won something so I'd pay shipping. I didn't even realize it was a 3rd party until it was too late. The 3rd party wasn't sending anything. Instead it planned to keep the credit card to suck a monthly fee. For the chance to win. LOL. Had to deal with those clowns and undo all that mess. Then contacted Poshmark Customer Service and these CLOWNS just gave me the run around. So I deleted my account. NOT SAFE, don't walk - run.

Tip for consumers:
Not to use it because they let 3rd party scammers pose as Poshmark. Then the 3rd party lies that you've won something so they can get your credit card number for the shipping cost.

I have been with Poshmark for over four years. The live shows are new. When you open the Poshmark app, you could get right into a live show or auction. Without your permission or authorization, you could get trapped into a purchase. I woke up to auction purchase this morning. I tried to contact both *******@4mycloset and she disabled the conversation. When I contacted Posh Support, they said all auctions are binding. That was absolutely awful! I HIGHLY advise never using Poshmark!

It has truly been a nightmare trying to stop all the $#*!ing emails from this company. How doi make it stop? I didn't sign up for this.

The company has determined that someone put the wrong email when THEY signed up but have yet to remove my email from their lists. This is bull $#*!. Just try to talk to someone there's nobody there!

I made my first purchase on Poshmark, a pair of Brighton shoes. The seller did not disclose that the instep was abnormally narrow. When I received the shoes, they did not fit well and I wear Brighton all the time. I tried to return but Poshmark and the seller refused. Poshmark no longer responded and I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that does not fit. Terrible experience!

I used poshmark for years. They get worse and more greedy all the time. In addition to the 20% cut they already take from each sale, now they have "promoted closets", which is just another way from them to screw over sellers. With promoted listings, you pay every time someone clicks on your listing. Not every sale, but every click. This is ridiculous. Also 20% is already a very large cut, but now they want to be paid every time someone just looks at your listing. It seems they never tire of looking for ways to hurt sellers.

There is no way to directly message someone. When you put a message up it's for everyone. While I'm waiting on the seller to message me back the next day someone buys it because she dropped the outfit down for me. I didn't even know. This is useless and a waste of time especially when you don't have another one available. I'm having to lose out because of poshmark's notification system.

Honestly, a ridiculous company! There's isn't a written contract that the buyer or the seller signs. Again, Poshmark takes a cut from the seller who originally paid a lot of money for their item. A person might as well sell it on their own and get 100% of the selling price which is what I'll do. I regret selling on Poshmark because they've made a lot of money on my sales and don't care to step in help when there's an issue. I'd love to see if this happened to anyone making this decision because they'd feel the same way.
I've had a lot of experience with buying on eBay and they're customer service is always there to help. There isn't even a person on Poshmark that you can speak to directly. That is also a huge problem! Basically, a person is in communication through a stupid email. I don't really think Poshmark can be talking about contracts when you don't even really know if there's a real person on the other end.
