Poshmark

I gave this 4 Stars for the fact I was refunded but would give no Stars for a product that was listed; I completed the purchase process and then a week and a half to two weeks later the company mails to say the product is not available and would I like to wait or cancel. I canceled because at Amazon, for $5 more, the product, "Keeping Up Appearances" entire series, would have shown up as not available right from the go, and so I would keep looking. There are often times multiple sellers at "Az" who would have what you are looking for and any of them might cost a bit more than the initial one you were looking at, so at least you have an option readily available.
I have done very well with Amazon, Ebay and some other occasional ones I don't frequent and having gotten off to a bad start here wont be returning.:-(.
Forgot to add; I am an older single "dude" and yet their emails to me are all for women's garment and accessories. Now what am I supposed to do with that? One time when I took the link I opened the electronics category but was still getting the girl stuff. For all the bad we hear about Amazon they got customer service right.

I received an item in the mail that I never bought! I could not get a hold of anyone… Anyone to explain the situation! Use eBay it's a much better way to buy and sell used items!

I paid a cost for 1-3 day shipping, ha! I tried to cancel but no response from Posh, never again! I need the item for a trip, it will come long after I am across the pond.

I had some good experience at first. Then 2 very bad experience. No one to talk to and they do not answer emails. I am out some money that is significant to me. NOT AN EBAY NO BUYER PROTECTION! BEWARE!

I've bought a number of items from different sellers on this site, and have been disappointed on every purchase. The pictures don't show detail at all - you cannot zoom in on the item, and if you're counting on the seller to be honest with you about the condition of their items, FORGET IT, and that's if they respond to your questions at all! The last two items I've purchased both had a very musty, storage smell, and that's after I specifically asked the seller if the clothing had any odors, which of course they said, "no". They will hide the rips, tears and stains from the pictures and tell you it's in great condition. Now I realize that Poshmark cannot control dishonest sellers, but they could implement some kind of a return policy that forces the sellers to be honest. The sellers have obviously figured out that they can sell clothes that Goodwill wouldn't take, and no one will hold them accountable for being dishonest.
So - BUYER BEWARE ON THIS SITE!

Many item discriptions are misleading. Sellers are allowed to post as a certain size, even if the actual size is different. Bought one size and received another. Told I would not receive a refund.

What a big MISTAKE I tried them for the first time and I regret it! I bought a Louis purse and the photos did not show the large stains and very worn. I received it and tried to contact them immediately well that is when I found out they DONT HAVE ANY PHONE NUMBERS!
They sent me a cut and paste email telling me to send photos. I did and received an IMMEDIATE response. NO RETURN. They are the biggest rip off. I have dealt with The Real Real for years and I guess I thought Poshmark was the same. I WAS WRONG be warned do not waste your money!

I was sold a replica Louis Vuitton wallet and contacted Poshmark about it. They've done everything they can to say the wallet is authentic except for authenticating the wallet. They lie when they say they will authenticate purchases over $500 free. They DO NOT do this despite advertising it. Ultimately they facilitate the selling of illegal products and steal hundreds of dollars from customers who believe they are getting something real until it arrives in the mail. Ark pictures immediately of my concerns with the wallet. They wrote me back over a week later when I was out of town for work asking for me pictures within 48hrs or I have to keep it. I replied immediately saying I was out of town and couldn't send pictures until I returned - they released the funds to the seller instantly after me sending the email. They did not wait or give me the 48hrs they said. The canvas does not match up. The button is cutting off an LV and there's pockets missing in the wallet.

Had an issue with a seller misrepresenting the stuff they were selling and poshmark did not help resolve the issue whatsoever. Will not use them again.

Absolutely no seller protection. Buyers can scam left and right and poshmark will do nothing to protect the sellers. High fees and no protection make this an awful selling platform.

It is huge mistake using Posh thing. It is sticky and rotten items plus don't expect brand or anything crap!
Gambling with your money so watch out dealing with Posh...

I bought a pair of shoes off of here Jordans 4 it showed I purchase them and then an hour later I got nothing I go back in there to purchase order disappeared to seller disappeared it's been 4 days customer service is not responding they stole $263 from me this website is shaving do not use it do not use it I'm telling you they stole my money now they won't give it back

Posted a sweater, ordered it, they took my money charging my card IMMEDIATELY, waited THREE weeks, NOTHING! Finally write them, receive apology, checking with seller. Asked if I want to wait longer, or get my money back. Meantime, they had $45 in THEIR bank account. Continuously e-mailing me "offers". Horrible, Terrible vendor, luring customers without having the merchandise, only to try to sell you something else. They're just a 'go-between' for UNVETTED, scamming sellers. STAY AWAY!

Ordered from a person called themselves spaghettistraps. No answer to email or no purchase conformation for an emblished top. Rip off and I would not risk buying anything thru Poshmark

I bought what was supposed to be mint condition oakley glasses. They came and they were absolutely trash. Jaf1647 is the seller. Beware of him. Posh has yet to reslove its been a week. Very unhappy

Very Frustrating when You ASK Questions from a Seller--ONLY To be IGNORED----Items are NOT RETURNABLE--Most Sellers Give very Vague or NO INFO At all--NO Measurements--Often Just using the Word "USED" Inseams are Important--Meas. Of a Handbag Etc---If there Ignoring Your Questions --Most Likely they wont Ship either--So Your Money is Tied UP--I Tell everyone to SHOP Poshmark--They will SAVE MONEY Because they Cant Buy Anything! I was a first time shopper on Poshmark and my first time is also my last. The company is simply unethical. In the first place they do not make you aware that there is a no return policy except in the case of defective items. Of course whether or not the item is defective is solely in the discretion of Poshmark so there is never a reason to return. I bought 2 pair of shoes. One was stretched out to the point where they were a size bigger (I literally had over an inch of room where my foot ended) and the other had been washed and dried and shrunk due to the cloth material. They were so small I could not walk in them. I was told that my only option was to sell them on their site so they could make more money off me. When I went into my Paypal account I saw they had somehow overrode my credit card payment so that it came directly out of my bank account without my consent or knowledge. They had also set up automatic payment from my Paypal account without my consent or knowledge. I filed a complaint with my bank so they could no longer access my account. I also filed a complaint with Paypal. When Paypal reached out to them they sent back a response which threatened "negative action against my account" if I did not close my complaint with Paypal. I was absolutely shocked that a company would threaten me for complaining. I responded that I would not be bullied by them and reported them to the Better Business Bureau. When I filed with the BBB I saw there were over 3,000 complaints against the company. Still trying to get my money back. Don't shop here - not worth the risk.

I was interested in a necklace which was priced 2500$ I also saw the exact necklace on other sites for $400
After I purchased it from other site, I realized it was the same item that was posted fot 2500 on poshmark...

Don't EVER, Sale Or BUY Anything From PoshThirstyMark! They Denied A Refund Of $41. Stating My Reason For The Return Was Not Acceptable! I'm A Shopaholic. All The Other Sites That I Shop On Do Exchange & Refunds. REMOVE PoshThirstyMark!

This company is awful to work with, everything is handled on line, no phone number to reach an actual person, works for sellers, buyers not protected at all. Deleting app and contacting BBB. Do not even honor their own policies and I have emails and pics of them stating it would be sent out by a certain date and still wasn't and took my money. DISHONEST COMPANY! BUYERS BEWARE! Going back to Ebay!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER unless that is if you chose to be treated with arrogance and rudeness. I had asked this seller for measurements on one of her items back on May 28,2019. She never responded. So I went ahead and asked again on June 22,2020. Wow did I get an ear full 2 days later. First she can't be bothered listing measurements and then cannot be bothered answering you. Then when she does she is full of excuses and down right rude. Excuse me but the last time I looked this was a global pandemic with global protesters and riots in the street. It is not just affecting her in Philadelphia and I live in NYC Manhattan. She claims to take pride in her closet yet can't answer customer questions after 3 tries and over a year of trying and then comes up with excuses for her behavior then blocks you so you cannot respond to her rudeness by giving her a taste of her own medicine. Talk about a chicken. I would NOT have purchased from her anyway after the response she gave me. So Jillian you can block me all you want... now I went public to advise everyone of how rude, arrogant and entitled you are. I would rather spend my money with a seller who can provide proper service and I have been a Director of CS for over 50 yrs so I know a thing or two about it. If you can't handle selling on PM then go away as selling on PM does not take a rocket scientist.

So I've been wanting a certain pair of shoes for along time but the price was just out of my range until one day I came a crossed them on "Poshmark" for just the right price so super excitedly I whip out my prepaid visa and purchase them the website claims 3-7 days shipping so I wait and wait a week goes by and my order still says "processing" another week goes by and no change when I email them they say I'm sorry we could not get ahold of the seller you can cancel if you like and wait 1-30 days for your money back thanks Poshmark for nothing but disappointment seriously take the old ads that haven't been updated OFF your website so people don't have to experience disappointment it really sucks when you think your getting what you've wanted for along time just to be let down and on top of it out of your money til god knows when! Really scared to order from them again and considering deleting the app

Do not, I repeat do not sell anything on Poshmark! I sold a pair of Steve Madden heels, only worn once, on their website. I only wore them once cause they were too uncomfortable for my feet being that I am flat footed. These shoes cost over $100 and I sold them to a girl that harassed me for a week straight to lower the price from $50 to $40. The girl gets the shoes and reports them as damaged which I knew already was a lie because the shoes were damn near brand new. Poshmark of course has a no return policy and I wrote them telling them it would be okay for her to return the shoes if she hasn't damaged them to get her measly $40 back and they ignored every email and phone call from me. They sent the shoes back and she had completely destroyed them. She removed the sole from the shoe and now they look horrible. Despite the picture proof that I sent them of the shoes being intact before I shipped them to her. They are the worst company in the world. As a matter of fact they don't even deserve to be called a company. They are a joke! Save yourself the time and headache and don't do business with them!
