Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

I bought a $2000. 00 wedding dress from Poshmark. It's been a week and I haven't received it. When I contacted them they told me to contact the SELLER. I had received an e-mail from POSHMARK that I qualified for the special concierge service and Poshmark had instructed the seller to send the dress to THEM and they would forward it to me. WHERE IS THE DRESS?

I bought a handbag and was dissatisfied so I tried to return it and get a refund. The "board" had a powwow and decided that I CANNOT get a refund because I FAILED to ask the seller for dimensions and therefore, NO REFUND! That to me was unbelievable! It's a standard thing when a customer is not satisfied, a refund is always an option! Don't EVER buy from this budget site because you will never get your money back! FRAUD!

UPDATE: The day after I filed this review and a complaint with BBB I was given a return label to send the jacket back to the seller. I was provided a refund today. It was stressful trying to get this situation fixed but I am glad in the end Posh did the right thing.
Was sold a jacket in "perfect" condition but arrived with many holes and a missing button. The seller apologized and told me to send it back but Posh has the money in limbo until they finish their review. Posh offered me a $30 credit towards another purchase and I refused it. They then offered me a $50 credit towards another purchase and I refused it. I have sent 5 emails in 5 days and have not received a single response to any of them. They are ignoring me on purpose, they screw me and the seller and keep all the money. Funny thing is- the seller has also contacted the company asking them to accept my refund so I can send it back and get my money, but they are ignoring her as well.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I will contact Chase tomorrow to file a complaint with them as they were my form of payment. This company purposely keeps your ability to contact that a very minimum, email only, to avoid having to answer for their bad business practices. Have you noticed most of positive reviews on this site offer codes for discounts?! Hilarious! Obviously Posh is leaving most if not all those reviews as a buyer has not interest in leaving a positive review them give out a discount for a future purchase.

Buyer beware... its not like ebay.

I placed many orders with Poshmark and we were doing famously until two orders received the same week arrived broken... one order was a broken ceramic pie pan and the other was a broken glass pumpkin... now the return process is a bit of a hassle. You must report problems/issues within 72 hours of package delivery so you better be in town not gone or your out of luck... now let us say your in town and get your order... now you must send POSHMARK pics of shipping label... the box... all packing material used and finally the damaged goods... and wait and wait to hear from them... I got shafted eventually... on the broken pie pan Poshmark offered me half price refund of 10 dollar poshmark credit... I strongly protested and they eventually relented and gave me a full refund only to screw me over on the broken glass pumpkin... yep. They issued me a case closed verdict... WHICH MEANS THEY KEPT ALL MY MONIES and the only thing i have for my hard earned cash is one broken glass pumpkin... on the glass pumpkin i did not even have to unpack it to show the damage. I removed the top paper and there was broken glass all over the box... and as i removed each layer of packing material I took a pic so i definitely proved my case... that darn package was broken by the post office... I have cancelled my payment info and will cancel my account s soon as i get my last few orders... prayers i do not get anything else damaged... even with the evidence as per POSHMARK policies and guideline. They are the final judge and jury and the evidence a buyer provides is irrelevant. BEWARE THE GREED OF POSHMARK

Tip for consumers:
just remember check prices very carefully when buying an item ....and the shipping costs are expensive... a ten dollar item will cost close to twenty dollars after tacking on tax and shipping fees...if your looking for vintage merchandise this I can see but if you buying an item currently sold on the market check pricing and remember most merchandise is not new so check the pictures closely and ask seller questions ...pics do not show damage clearly every time>>>read the seller posting

Poshmark erroneously charged me for an item I did not order. The item was delivered even though I did not agree to the "offer". Poshmark refused to provide a refund and return label.

Everything you sell over $500 has to go to their headquarters for authentication, and they've been holding a Moncler jacket that I sold, and shipped the very next morning, for 4 days! And they won't respond to emails. I keep getting the auto responses "due to COVID blah blah blah." Well, I still sent my jacket out the VERY NEXT MORNING after it sold and didn't use the lame COVID excuse.

If you're going to remain open for business and still charge your FULL FEE, you better offer FULL SERVICE.

I'm sick of these bullsh*t companies.

I'm complaining to the BBB and the Attorney General of California now. They think they can just hold your merchandise and money, indefinitely.

They're the worst. All of these companies are getting so bad. Nowhere to turn anymore except for your local consignment shops. Those are the only ones you can trust. Seriously.

If there was a ZERO rating, I would have chosen that instead of a 1 rating. Thought I was ordering a men's LARGE polo shirt, but instead was a women's LARGE... and Poshmark would not allow me to return it.

Verified purchase

Saw a WaterPik flosser. It said NWT (New With Tags). Wasn't new, it was a returned item with missing parts. Seller said in small print that parts were missing. It just wasn't NWT. Seller suggested returning item to a retailer for exchange. Totally dishonest. Seller on this site was "@thinthecloset". STAY AWAY FROM POSHMARK.

WaterPik flosser. They decide if you qualify for a refund. Seems dishonest to me that they promote stuff that is damaged and then suggest you return to a retailer for exchange.

Do not shop this platfoem! I was sold a damaged product and since the seller wrote "worn" I cannot get my money back for the damaged goods. Poor costumer service

As ridiculous as it sounds, I'm afraid that it's true. Poshmark tried to log-in to my Amazon account. Here are some facts to back up my claims:
1. My Amazon account got log-in attempt notification of the week that I signed up for Poshmark.
2. I keep track of all of my accounts and password. I narrowed my search down when I received that log-in attempt email and found only 2 results. Poshmark and Amazon are the only one with matching email + pw.
3. The pw was new one too! I happen to create a new pw that week and used it on both Amazon and Poshmark, never used anywhere else before. So I'm very positive the log-in attempt was from Poshmark.

Other facts to convince you that I'm right:
- if you've signed up for Poshmark, you already know their follower-following list are fake. They make you follow 1000 strangers without your consent.
- if you enter a zipcode, you can easily find your neighbors. There's non-existing privacy in this app.

So therefore, avoid this app at all cost and be careful with your email and pw. They're definitely using that info illegally without your consent.

I had a watch to sale and the pictures are so clear very crystal clear. But they keep denying it and very poor service
They are denying to see the pictures
Very very poor service
EBay is the best
I will tell everyone all my family and friends what happened and tell them not to go to their site at all
I'm very upset and hurt

I bought a comforter set from a seller on Poshmark, monique_quebec:
- The seller described the item as "NWT Astoria SAND Queen 4-Piece Comforter
Set". The description came with a photo that matched the description (SAND is the color of the comforter). I paid for what was described, however, I received "Astoria WHITE Queen 4-Piece Comforter Set" instead of Astoria SAND Queen 4-Piece Comforter Set. I contacted the seller to try and resolve the issue by requesting a refund for the returned item then she stopped all communication. I contacted Poshmark and they denied my claim although the seller admitted to not
Knowing what SAND meant in the description in her statement.
The photos show what was advertised vs. what I received. There were no additional tags attached to the item.

I am still trying to work with Poshmark so I will report further outcomes.

I SENT AN ITEM TO SOMEONE THEY DELETED THEIR ACCOUNT AND THEY DID NOT RATE SO THEREFORE I NEVER GOT THE MONEY AND SHOES WERE TAKEN BY THEM. I TOLD POSHMARK AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO! UM IF THEY WERE A RESPECTABLE SITE THEY WOULD JUST GIVE ME THE FUNDS THAT ARE SITTING IN PENDING. AND ALSO I HAD A 220 BIKINI I SENT OUT TO SOMEONE AND THEY PERSON STATED THEY RECEIVED IT AND THEN THEY DECIDED TI CANCLE THE PURCHASE AFTER I SENT IT AND I TOLD THEM THIS And no response FROM THEM AND THE FUNDS HAVE BEEN PENDING FOR DAYS AND SINCE THEY CANCLED THE TRANSACTION I PROBABLY WONT GET PAID 220 AND MY OTHER 60 DOLLARS I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS SHOP AGAIN I $#*!ING HATE POSHMARK HORRIBLE BUSINESS WITH THEM. ID RATHER GO ON MERC.

What a wonder buying and receiving service I received from Poshmark and seller Peggy I think her last name was spelled Geyes.
I ordered a Cosmopolitan purse from Poshmark and received I in less than a week.
I'm over the Top Pleased. The purse is awesome in brand new condition and Exactly what I wanted.
The purse came Priority Mail and packaged perfectly.

I don't understand Poshmark's customer service and they've decided against me as both a buyer and seller in situations that weren't warranted. I bought a shirt described as having a raw hem. Turns out it was a dress cut in half. I opened a case, because this wasn't indicated in the listing and Poshmark denied my case, saying the item was as described. Raw hem doesn't mean cut in half item. Secondly a buyer said that one of my items sewing was coming undone on one of the shoulders and they approved her case and sent my item back to me and refunded her money. When I got the item, the shoulder was sewn fine and a thread was loose. I cut it off and now I can't even find the area the customer was talking about. How they refund for a loose thread and not for a dress cut in half, I don't understand. They also just stop responding in the middle of emailing. So there's no resolution. They've done this to me 3 or 4 times. Anyway, I have two more sales going out now and I'm switching to eBay and selling locally for all future sales. Poshmark can suck it.

I ordered a purse the look awesome and I was very excited to get it when I received it I was so disappointed it was not shinny and worn very much I followed all the direction to return it but Poshmark made the decision not to return it for me I took it to a second hand store and they wouldn't even buy it so I'm out $65.00 I think that is really sad that they don't back what is on their site I would caution everyone one to be careful on that site

Sent my purchase to the wrong address, said delivered and they were vague to provide tracking! I have proof they sent to the wrong address and still refusing refund. Terrible customer service!

This is the third time I have tried to order something, ahead of time, for a specific date, that I need to get it by. All 3 times, it arrives 1-5 days AFTER I've left for the event.
This time, 1-3 days was the listed timeframe. The 3 days shipping would have been great, but the first email I get, has it arriving 2 days later, so 5 DAYS to ship. That is NOT "Expedited" shipping. Each time, I've notified the sender that I need the item shipped ASAP. That makes no difference.
Expedited would/should be Priority Mail USPS, and there just isn't any reason Priority would take 5 days.
I ship all the time for Etsy, all over the country, and do not have that issue.
This is the last time I will shop with Poshmark. Contacting Poshmark is next to impossible. If you do get an actual person to respond, they just tell you to "reposh"/resell it on their site. That works GREAT for them, as they collect fees every time there is a sale. I will donate before I give them any more of my hard earned money.
Just do not use this company.

They are the worst online seller of clothes. The seller doesn't give a good description of their items (very brief). Poshmark will not give you your money back if it's the wrong size or if you didn't ask the Seller enough questions about the item. I had one seller unable to find the item I was trying to buy and had to wait 8 days and ask for a refund, which is only handled through Poshmark. You can't talk to the Seller again after the sale. You can only email Customer Support with the problem and it takes forever for an answer. I have closed my account with them and only buy things from Ebay or Amazon. You can call them and everything is 100% customer satisfaction with Ebay and Amazon. With Poshmark they tell you to resell the item or donated it. They will not help you with a valid problem. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS, THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO THE BUYER. I wouldn't give them any stars if I could.

I made my first purchase on Poshmark. I purchased a Fendi wallet and it was a fake. Poshmark CLAIMS they have a Poshmark Honors return. I sent pictures and explained the missing details. The seller who calls herself Tigress, then posted a FAKE picture of the marks. Now, if Poshmark would have only compared Tigress original pics to the fake pics she posted in the comments, Poshmark would have seen the obvious lie. DO NOT SHOP POSHMARK unless you are happy paying high prices for FAKE items.

As other reviewers have stated Poshmark's customer service is the worst. They allow buyers to return items damaged. There is NO protection for sellers against unethical buyers who can return items they damaged. I wouldn't have a problem with someone returning something because of buyers remorse, but NOT after they damaged the item, that just crazy. Poshmark actually sent me a email saying give a better description of the item next time...(WTH?) the pictures posted show the item with ZERO damage. They never asked me to send pictures proving the item wasn't damaged they just allowed the buyer to return the item. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & I'M DONE SELLING ON POSHMARK!
