Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

Bought a pair of "authentic Alexis Bittar" earrings. Completely fake. They sided with the seller and won't give me a refund.

There is no customer service phone number and the generic emails are terrible.

I have escalated to paypal and if that does not work, will escalate to BBB. Then to my credit card company!

Stay AWAY!

Ebay and Etsy are much better sites for consumers.

I decided to try Poshmark out to sell some items and see how it compares with EBay. Well, there is no comparison. Poshmark is a bunch of women selling crap clothes and shoes that they either dumpster dived through Good Will for or outgrew themselves. I had many high end items (bags, shoes, etc that I listed) and these vulchers would lowball you and harass you at every turn for basicAlly not giving your items away. Poshmark also has a fixed shipping price which stinks. Also if you sell over the $6.95 fixed shipping price, YOU not the buyer, pay the extra shipping! Lol ok. Thats a good business model.

The moderators on the site bully people around products and also comments made during transactions. Its unreal. I had happy buyers but wont again stray from eBAy and the quality items and polite, positive buyers and sellers there.

Beware of Poshmark. Dont waste your money. Its a scam!

I purchased a supposedly new sweater and it arrived in an shrunken unwearable state. When I complained, my member privileges were blocked without warning. I contacted the site and the response was that I had been warned multiple times. I never received an email and asked the company to provide the emails they supposedly sent. I never heard back. This company stands behind it's scammer clientele and does care nor protect the consumer. I have used Ebay for over 10 years and never had any issues. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a reputable site. Not one who couldn't care less about a college student losing out on almost $65.

Found great stuff. Shipping costs high but ok i accepted. But pre covid took sellers forever to ship. I believe they give them 10 days to ship. On numerous occasions Poshmark sent reminder to the seller and in 2 instances seller never even responded and finally Poshmark issued refund. Unresponsive customer service, Communication only via email. But i finally quit when an earring fell out of a poorly wrapped pkg. I sent photos of hole in envelope and they said we will refund you $5. The earrings cost $35. You can send back the full order or $5 refund. So long Posh. I look at Posh cool closets and then search for the item on ebay which is almost always cheaper and sellers ship in 1 to 2 days. Initially recommended to friends but now I advise to not use. And NO REFUNDS

I was a first time user, just browsing, after seeing so many commercials. It was garbage. First of all, within 10 minutes of signing up 23 bots were "following" me even though I was brand new and had no items for sale. Then I started browsing. I was horrified at the garbage listed for sale. I guarantee you there are homeless bums that wouldn't wear this filthy, torn, worn out stuff. One seller was listing ONE shoe! Wtf? I saw an Apple watch listed for $4,000! Um, it's $500 brand new at a reputable retailer like Target or Best Buy. I deleted my account within an hour. Ugh!

Purchased a handbag from Poshmark and when received it turned out the size wasn't correct for our needs.
Put in for a return and Poshmark said I didn't qualify for the return. They said the size will vary and I should read more carefully. In my opinion Poshmark's return policies are very bad. I will never Purchase or sell on Poshmark again. I suggest buyers be very aware of this.

This company says one thing and does another. When they made money off of me they were fine with the items I sold, when a buyer disputed a sale they all of a sudden did not support the items I was selling. Funny though they never returned the profit they made off of my "unsupported item"! Their customer service is a joke!

Not sure what all the 1 star reviews are about.

I started out using Poshmark to sell some designer items. I really didn't like it and preferred Tradesy as there were less lowballers on Tradesy and I was able to upload nicer photos on that platform. Not to mention you are unable to view/give feedback to buyers. One thing I will say is that despite the abundance of lowballers, Poshmark doesn't hold your money hostage (unlike Tradesy) and payment is pretty straightforward.

Lately I've been using Poshmark to buy gently used clothing. I personally haven't sent any offers to sellers but I've been able to score some really good deals on high end and designer clothing. The prices are sometimes better than TheRealReal and eBay! A lot of the people there are just desperate to sell things from their closets and all my sellers have been professional and helpful.

I still prefer eBay but I'm slowly warming up to Poshmark.

There are so many better sites! Poshmark doesn't even have a phone number to call if you need help. Even when they want you to contact them! They charge so much to sell (10% Of each sale) and they rip off the buyer with shipping costs ($6.95 even if it were a trading card). I tried to get a hold of them because they had technical problems after they asked me to contact THEM- no contact information offered. I couldn't sell or buy because of this issue. I tried for weeks without getting one human, email, or anything that showed someone was listening. That is fine though. It got me out of there and I've found several better sites for less with customer service I can chat or call.
So what do they do with the10% of ALL sales an zero employees to worry about? You've been warned.

I purchased a sweater on poshmark, which was advertised as being in great condition. However, when I received the item, it was clearly shrunken in the wash/dryer. I filed a complaint with Poshmark customer service, and they advised me to reposh the item, even thought it is obviously faulty. With every reposh, this generates more $$ for the company, while scamming more buyers.

Tip for consumers:
Buyer beware

I started using posh 02/2016 &have bought over $1000 in items. VERY ADDICTING! Lol
I dont understand why the ratings are so bad, ive only had two problems and they were solved quickly and to my liking. #1 Although the items ship tracking stated my item arrived i never received it, they gave me about a week to see if it came then reimbursed me shipping & item cost! #2 I ordered an item and the seller never sent it out, posh allows you to cancel the order after 7 days. I did so & again was reimbursed every penny! They always reply by email within 48 hours. There are bad apples (users) out there so I NEVER buy from first time sellers or use paypal. When purchasing anything over $100 i stalk the users comments under previous sold items. Ive sold 7 items so far, no problems there what so ever! Check out my page!@driscillarc

Ordered a dress that was advertised as a woman's size M. It was a junior size M and had the tag that even said junior... customer service wrote back a somewhat arrogant letter stating they do not accept returns when items do not fit. Guess misrepresentation does not matter. I will never use this site again.

I, mainly, deal in vintage items and have purchased excellent items. So far, every item has been exactly as listed and matched Seller photos. The majority of Sellers, 95%+, respond immediately or within 24hrs, when I post questions - always, willing to provide answers, if able and add extra photos when requested, if possible.

I had an instance of an item whose condition wasn't as good as the listing stated; yet, with Customer Service assistance, was able to return item for full refund.

NEEDED: A major site overhaul is needed to better the customer experience, & certain the same for sellers. Specifically, expand categories to allow more detail for items and search criteria to find items.

Overall: Great site and item selections...

I purchased two things from Poshmark. The first was legit and a great deal. The second from@leah001 a rip off. The buyer beware is on me for not being able to process right away that it was fake. It wasn't until I carried the purse that I knew for sure it was. I've already accepted payment. So, my advice... Check the seller's closet. Is there variety or do they have multiple of something. Check the photo against any you can find elsewhere. Once you get it, if it doesn't feel right, don't accept payment... return it asap! Not sure I'll go back... it was an expensive mistake and I hate feeling like a sucker.

I've made many purchases from here before. Have had good and bad experiences, mostly good but it's normal not to be able to have perfect transactions all the time. Always be careful of purchases as I have had received fake replica orders as well. Just be careful

I've been poshing for about a year now and I love it! It's a great way to get name brand items for usually much less than retail price. I also like to sell bc I get more of a profit for my clothing than if I had taken to a consignment store,. One down side is the amount of commission posh takes (20%) kind of ridiculous! Also there are many annoying people who constantly want to "trade." Personally I don't, but I think this is how people get scammed, so just don't trade. Other than that, you are completely protected and allowed to get money back after 7 days if seller is shady and never ships.

I purchased an Emile Henry casserole and it came broken in hundreds of pieces. I never accepted the order and Poshmark took it upon themselves to accept the order. This is unacceptable. I'm an excellent customer and will not tolerate this so I'm not using them anymore

As a seller, I'm so disappointed in this site. I get a lot of likes and shares on my items, but the only offer so far was at 25% of my listing price! I could hardly believe it! I had already discounted the item for the Weekend Closet Clearout and then somebody tries to lowball me with a ridiculous offer! I also get questions about whether an item is authentic or not. I answer all of the inquires with "Yes... it's authentic." but really? If the site has such a bad reputation for allowing sellers to scam buyers, then why are people shopping there? In the meantime, I had four sales on TRADESY without so much as one email offering less than I was asking, or questioning the authenticity. Poshmark seems more like a site for young girls that are buying and selling $5 t-shirts and $10 jeans, than for sellers who are offering quality handbags in the secondary market. Total waste of time and effort.

Poshmark does not allow you to return your purchased clothing items if they do not fit, a fact I was not made aware of until it was too late. Instead, they encourage you to become a seller. Pease do not waste your time and money on them.

I ordered a pair of Ralph Lauren boots, they came with the heel broken and I'm not sure authentic at this point. I emailed a complaint to return for a full refund and they gave me half back on credit. So, I decided to give it another try, so I ordered a jacket that came and I had it one for ONLY 1 HOUR and the whole jacket started to unravel... couldn't believe it! I emailed them right away and they refunded me only the incremental amount paid, not a full refund. I can't believe how terrible this site is. Not sure all the users are real either!

I purchased a coat on Poshmark. Their sellers have 7 days to ship your purchase. I have not received a shipping email and it has been over 11 days nor has poshmark responded to me other than with an automated generic email.

Do not buy or sell anything with Poshmark. There is no protection for buyers who are defrauded. I bought a Tory Burch Simone cardigan from a seller who said it'd been worn once. The sweater that came was not the same sweater as depicted in the seller's photo (totally different buttons), and it was shrunken (I have many Simone sweaters and know my size), misshapen, and worn. I informed Poshmark of this immediately and they did nothing and I am out $91. I also bought a Lululemon tall skort but the seller sent a short skort. Again, Poshmark did nothing. The company just perpetuates fraud. Don't get scammed. Buy on E-bay instead.

If you buy An item and need to return it, the only reason they will allow is for the owner to have falsely advertised it to you (sometimes you just don't fit into an item or there could be other reasons. But they don't accept those).

They review your complaint for about a week and if they accept that you were mislead by the seller, only then they send U a return label.

As soon as you get the return label, you have to post it within 48 hours. If for some reason your package is not entered into the usps tracking page (as was my case) within that time by your usps mailman, your return is cancelled. So you're stuck with the bad item for life.

There's noone you can call at postmark. And their email correspondence is practically non-existent.

There is NO protection for the sellers. You send your item and you may or may not get paid for your item. If the buyer changes their mind or wants to scam you it's literally allowed by Poshmark!
Don't use this site!

I ordered a dress from poshmark and it didnt fit me so i messaged customer service for return and they said it is not eligible for return, makes no sense the dress fitting was off thats why even though i bought my size i couldn't even zip up in the bust area.
Plus the zipper of the dress was not smooth even after i send them pictures they said i cant return it. Never ever buy anything from poshmark!
