Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

Absolutely non-ethical company. Bought a dress, got dress, dress was labeled as a certain size but had clearly been shrunk. Zipper was warped, and wouldn't zip. Dress will never fit. Complained, and after a series of back and forth, they denied my return request because technically, the dress was the same size that was advertised. I explained that no, technically it wasn't. They would not even address the broken zipper, even after asking them point blank "why are you not addressing the broken zipper." In response, they actually told me in an email (so i have it in writing) that I can go ahead and try reselling the item. Enraged, I asked them if that is their typical policy, to knowingly encourage users to sell bad items so that they can continue to profit off of already high percentages of the sale. No response. I cannot even believe that a business can so transparently be this non-ethical. DO NOT USE Poshmark. There are far better clothes selling/trading sites.

I am able to negotiate some awesome deals on Poshmark. I love the selling community. The buyers lowball entirely too much but the biggest issue for me is the shipping cost. Most of the things that I purchase would only cost 2 or $3 at most I'm paying double that it's such a ripoff and very unhappy with Poshmark

Use PUJNW to get a 5 dollar credit when you sign up. Posh has its ups and downs. It's mostly ups. I think I have only had a problem once but they were very good with helping me out. You just have to be careful with customers and the things you buy and sell

I've been on posh for 3+ years. I've seen the good and the bad. I've sold over $15K there and have purchased from reputable sellers. Out of all the online sites like Tradesy and Posh, I find posh to be safer for items over $500 as they are authenticated and as a seller, I feel safe sending to headquarters so a bait and switch is not pulled. Just wish they would get rid of all the fakes they allow sellers to list. I hate fakes and everything they stand for.

Stay away from Poshmark! They allow buyer returns, even when the item is EXACTLY as described. Any scammer can return something by making up a reason. I recently sold a brand new red jacket, and Poshmark allowed the buyer to open a claim and return it because she claimed the color was not red enough. The buyer wore and soiled the jacket, and Poshmark wouldn't do anything, even when I filed a problem with the return on their app. Poshmark does not answer emails, and they do not have a phone number. They just ignore customers. STAY AWAY!

I'd give it a 0 if possible. There's no one to contact. They require buyers to deposit 1 AMEX card after another. I couldn't afford to sell! This is new. I sold my item & they wanted more! $700 to sell a $225 item! RIDICULOUS!

Tip for consumers:
Knowing that they required all these AMEX cards, the ahead of time

The most unknowledgeable and rude team and policy. After months of being bombarded with marketing emails I listed three original pieces I had bought personally from their designer's showrooms and knew were authentic were rejected and reasons being they were Fraudulent. This information was sent with a no not reply email as a "warning" that I was told not to list "Fraudulent" merchandize! They need to be accountable some how for waisting my time and giving false witness to my post. But they're not worth more than the half hour of my life I gave to them. "THE WORST" experience ever with a marketing sight.

I was lured into PoshMark because of an article I had recently read about a girl using it to pay her way through college. I thought that was a great idea, plus I could sell clothes that no longer fit (but still loved!). PoshMark touts that you will sell your first item in 30 minutes. I’ve been on a week and haven’t sold one thing yet. Here is what happens on PoshMark: You sign up and display your wares. Then all of these other “poshers” start following you -- and you, of course, follow them back. This goes on and on and on and on...! Then, some of the poshers you follow back, unfollow you so that they have more play than you! It’s a ridiculous waste of time! I’m beginning to think that article a bait and switch tactic on PoshMark’s part. 30 minutes? Give me a break PM!

The seller has up to 7 days to respond. Nikkiwilliams1, seller, sent it several weeks later and the size was not what she advertises. When I got poshmark involved, they sent a return label when I was on vacation (after I told them my vacation dates) and stated I need to send it back within 48 hours. Huh? They don't listen to your emails. I sent several on both of my email accounts.

I have been on Poshmarks for several months now. The people on there seem to be the rudest I have ever encountered. Not to mention I get so many low ball offers its ridiculous. My quality items never sell. My favorite site to sell on by far is Tradesy. I never have had a rude person on there. I love it because there are no offers. I sell about one item per week.

Upon attempting to deposit my $$ into my account that I made from the items I've sold. Poshmark said they said a verification to my e-mail with a code that I have to type in to set up my direct deposit. I never received ANY verification code. I have tried several times to have the e-mail re-sent and never received it. How on earth am I supposed to retrieve the money I've earned?!?!

I have also e-mailed Poshmark. Support and never received a single reply. Does anybody know how to file for fraud so that I can get my money back?

Thanks!

I recently had someone purchase a $500 leather bag from me on Poshmart. It sold for $200, a great value, it had minor flaws that were highlighted in description with photos. After purchasing the item from me, the buyer started writing me to cancel order, when she found out l had already shipped it she procedded to tell me to find out how she could return it. When she received this beautiful bag she smeared brown and white substance all over it and took photos claiming it arrived that way. Posmarket allowed her to return my now damaged bag. Sellers are not protected by this company, so disappointed in this company. I offer quality product and work hard to clean and press all my item, l also polish my leather goods. To have stuff damaged and return with no consequence to anyone but myself is disheartening. Looking for a new spot to sell.

I've been selling and buying on Poshmark for a while now and I've really enjoyed it. Up until recently I haven't had any issues. However, a couple weeks ago I sold an item to a buyer. There was a problem with the buyer's address and the item was "Undeliverable as Addressed" for over a week on USPS tracking. I reached out to customer service - each email took them over 2 days to respond to. They told me to wait longer (!) then email them again. I did, took another 3 days where they said they would release my funds. That didn't happen. I emailed them again. 2 days later they sent me an email saying the package was being rerouted back to me - I go to check the tracking and the tracking said it was delivered to another address, presumably the buyer's! Now i'm just confused and waiting to hear back.

This experience with CS is seriously making me rethink using Poshmark. I will wait to see what happens then decide if I'm done with them forever.

I have been selling on Posh for a little over a year and recently had a listing deleted by them for a new, unopened and authentic beauty product. There are 100s of identical listings that are currently active and 100s already sold but Posh still deleted it because they said it was suspected of being fake... how on earth is ProactivMD fake? Needless to say, I am very annoyed and disappointed in their actions!

The site itself is visually appealing. I really like the ease of use. As a buyer, just make sure you get pics and descriptions from the seller that was you can hold sellers to it. I have found some hard to find items here; so I do like Poshmark for that.

However, this site is HORRIBLE for sellers! Very hard to make money. This site is full of low ballers! When I say low, I mean low! We should be able to set a cap for the low limit to accept, because some of the offers are ridiculous! After you sell, you have to wait until the item arrives, then wait until the buyer "accepts" which can take up to 3 days! Then it takes way too long to get paid. I should be able to transfer funds to Paypal for immediate pay. The process sucks!

The volume of items for sale on Poshmark is overwhelming and it takes a lot of effort to promote your items and close a sale. When I posted some designer items, I was inundated with scammers who claimed to want immediate purchase if I emailed them privately. And of course nothing happened. If you have hours to spare on Poshparties and constant sharing of your items, you might make a few bucks. If you are looking to buy on Poshmark, the search and filter functions leave much to be desired and it is difficult to find what you are looking for.

The customer service is horrible! Probably a call center in another country because they seem not to unserstabd what yoy ate trying to communicate. The only way to communicate with them is thru app or email. Be aware that if you buy something and have an issue with it you are stuck. These people gave VERY LIMITED understanding in communication.

I'm seller and I can tell I never have any support from Poshmark support. Buyer open case for scratches on the lenses, I have in my description state - scratches on the lenses. Poshmark approved the case. It's very unfair, they don't pay attention to nothing. They just collecting 20% from selling price and don't care! Anytime I need help from them, it's no help@ all.

I updated my Poshmark app because I was unable to get my newsfeed which is crucial. After updating the app, I was able to get my newsfeed and then 3613 listings disappeared. My closet shows that I have 3613 listings however my listings have completely disappeared. After cancer forced me into retirement, this is my means of support and now I cannot work because my listings are all gone. Poshmark does not have a human being or a phone number and when you contact them they send you an automated message. This is absolutely insane.

Tip for consumers:
BEWARE! God for bid you should have a problem, they have no human help and there is no phone number and all you get is an automated response.

I purchased two items on Poshmark. I waited almost 3 weeks the seller would not ship what I paid for. I had to email over and over and over I could get no customer service. Then I had to fight for over a week to try to get my money refunded. So they want to take your money and they don't care whether the seller sends the merchandise. This company is clearly only interested in ripping off people.

So, i am looking at these bags all over this site. Most of them are fakes. I love designer bags and I study how they are made. Some of the site's are ridiculous. Regular Joe's ( you can see their photo) claiming they have all this designer clothing they have never worn. Women who can afford a 100,000 dollars worth of authentic Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton are not sitting around selling on Postmark. Wake up! People actually buy these. Then you have people who have a couple of items of Louis or Chanel. Yet everything else they have sold is Aeropostle, J Crew, and Kate Spade. It just makes no sense! This website is totally fake... ridiculous claims. I am about to purchase a Louis and I am going to the store. I would rather spend that kind of money on the real thing instead of getting a fake!

I have bought over 150 items and sold about $2000 worth... I've had no issues as a seller other than low-ballers and people asking question that are already in the description because they don't like to read. As a buyer I've had many issues. I had paid almost $500 for a bag only for the seller to lead me on and never ship. I've been sold a blatantly fake pair of Gucci sunglasses (realized they were fake in hand) and when I confronted the seller they were rude and told me I wanted to return them because I thought they didn't look good on me and she accused me of attacking her. Many sellers think they can get the price they paid for the item 4 years ago. Some of the women can be very catty. Poshmark also refuses to enforce their policy against knockoff designer items. It's easy to get away with selling non-clothing items because nothing is enforced.

I will never entertain this site ever again! I will be closing my account... Someone decided to create an App to sucker us shopaholics to buy and sell on their site with a 20% fee. The creators intentionally not post a phone number, therefore you have to reach out to them by email which takes forever. When they do take a break from their lavish lifestyle after spending our money they half $#*! the resolution. I have been trying to redeem my cash to no avail. Lesson leaned! How can you run a business of such magnitude without phone contact with customers. NEVER AGAIN! If you don't have a phone line to reach you or name of a CEO posted somewhere you will not get my business, PERIODT! I will continue to donate my things to the needy, I need to clean out my karma bank anyways :) Not worth my time. Poshmark is a scam.

I created an account and ordered a pair of booties. Unknown to me, they put a hold on my account and the booties were sold to someone else. I was not even informed that my account had been put on hold so that I could send them what they needed. They simply cancelled my order and put my account on hold without the decency to notify me. Terrible experience. Terrible buying experience.
