I bought something in the picture its looks like it is 4 feet long when i got it it was 4' long & they would not take it back or give me back my money
Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.
I was a buyer. My first few purchases were smooth. My last two, not so much. Since when do you pay for something, dont recieve it. Then find out the SELLER CHANGED THEIR MIND? Ridiculous way to do business. Plus you can leave negative feedback, but it gets deleted so protect the seller and the website. DONT BUY HERE!
What a horrible site and ZERO customer service. States items will ship in 3-5 days and can cancel after that. Bought a bag for a gift, I messaged seller 4x, not a single response contacted support and told me they couldn't cancel even though 7 days went by! Service is HORRIBLE. And the FEES! I'll give my things away before dealing w these asshat!
My first transaction with Poshmark was for a pair of shoes. They arrived and the heel on one shoe had been customized for someone with a short leg, so one heel was 3/4 inch different in height. None of this was disclosed on the posting. I was totally unable to communicate with the seller. Poshmark ignored my emails. I couldn't even figure out how to rate the seller. I am going to delete all reference to Poshmark and stick with Ebay and the realreal.
I have purchased two items on Poshmark, only to find that the first item wasn't the one the seller had advertised. I did cancel and get a refund. Then I purchased another item, only to be told that the seller wouldn't respond and the item never shipped. This site should be put out of business. Someone who has the issue with an item over $500 never being returned to them needs to file a complaint with the state attorney general's office. If they get enough of them, they will be put out of business.
1-10-23 I purchased a Garmin running watch allegedly used twice. Within 10 days the band broke in 3 places (see photos) and a couple of days later all it would do is display time and date and would not take a charge. Now time and date are frozen at 10:56 and 3 Feb, respectively. I contacted seller every time something new went wrong and she eventually told me to deal directly with Poshmark which I did. Their response was "Cases must be opened within 3 days of the item being marked delivered to your shipping address and the order must not be marked as received." In other words a buyer has 3 days after delivery to file a complaint unless buyer indicates he or she has received the item, at which time there is no recourse. Anything purchased on Poshmark is "as is",
I.e., if any problem with the item comes up after you acknowledge receipt you are out of luck.
In summary, if you have a product to sell that you can temporarily hide the defects on for 3 days Poshmark is for you. But if you are on the flip side of that coin all I can say is "caveat emptor." Or, better yet, read and believe the reviews of Poshmark. On the bright side Poshmark will be out of business before 2024 arrives.
Tip for consumers:
Read reviews of marketing company if you have not previously established a relationship with them.

I have been selling for a couple of months on poshmark and not doing half bad. All my sales were my own items from my closet that I wanted to see what I could get out of them. I tried to be as thorough as possible when taking pictures and describing my items. Every item that I have sold so far has received 5 stars and I followed the guidelines by shipping within 3 days and making sure my packages were less than 5 pounds.
That being said, 2 days ago my account was blocked and all my items were removed for "abuse of shipping labels/not paying for shipping labels used". Being a seller, I don't even pay for the shipping. The purchaser does! I have now missed out on 3 offers because they blocked me right after the offers came in and I can't even tell these people that I'm not ignoring them. I am not able to interact with anyone or do anything on my account anymore. I didn't have a lot of items compared to some sellers on there but I did have a little over 100. That took a lot of my time. I am just in shock that there was no warning and now there is no way to get this fixed until someone decides to get back to the customer service messages I sent. If they decide to do that for me at all. I'm not even sure why this happened to me. I didn't even do anything wrong…
First - I found the seller to be quite wonderful and we resolved our problem amicably but with great difficulty. However, poshmark limits communication not only between the buyer and seller but also closes out an open ticket with the help desk as if it is resolved. They don't ask you as a seller who has plunked down over $300 if you are happy or not- they just decide to block the communication with their customer service and also with the seller. I was not ugly, nasty but just trying to negotiate with the buyer due to a stain on 1 of the items, the sizing was not good and it was not exactly as described. Many resellers such as ebay, FB, etc. have blocks on contact information however, they do not limit communication when attempting to resolve items-= especially expensive purchases and clothing. Poshmark claims this is security checks- I suggest that the security should be more then adequate if poshmark can accept the credit card or payment source. They are too paranoid that somehow you might establish a relationship with the buyer versus poshmark.
I say- buyer and seller beware- don't buy that item.

Poshmark is one of THE WORST online resale sites I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. Shipping rates are overly inflated. Site has a terrible user interface. Worst of all are it's excessively restrictive dispute policy. You have three days only from the time you receive your item to inspect it and alert Poshmark if there are any problems. I purchased an item that stated in the listing "5 for $25". I was sent one of the item in question and charged $16.30! When I contacted Poshmark about the problem, and requested to return it, they refused to accept the return and refused to acknowledge the misleading/deceptive listing. Their customer service is horrible and their return policy overly rigid. Opportunity for problem resolution is non existent. I do not recommend using this company under ANY circumstance. EBay and Amazon are much better. If there is ever any problem with a purchase, both EBay and Amazon will work with both the buyer and seller to come to a resolution. Avoid Poshmark at all costs.
I have sold a designer purse 2x on this sight. They had me send to purse to them for the "conceirge service" and they authenticate the bag and then send onto the buyer. After i sent it in they said they could not Authenticate the payment method from the buyer. The second time i sold it i was assured there was not a problem with the buyer and to send the purse into them. I was contacted a few days later stating there was a very small "screw" missing on the bag and they wanted to contact the buyer. I was then notified that they could not get in touch with the buyer and therefore would send the bag back. I will never deal with these people again.
I ordered a coach bag off the site and it was smaller than I expected. When I tried to return it I was told I couldn't as it was as stated. The seller said it was not her decision but the people who run the site. Who are they to say no to a return? Everyone one takes returns. I never used it and was paying the return postage. Never again. Terrible experience. And the seller also got nansty with me. With all the sites out there I would rather buy on a reputable one. This one is garbage!
I sold a bundle of makeup products and packaged them carefully. The buyer stated the item did not arrived as described. Poshmark sent me an email saying selling used makeup wasn't allowed and the buyer would be sending me back the products. When I received them back they were broken. I contacted them via email and said that they couldn't verify when the item was specifically broken and I should just package my items more careful next time. So not only did I not make a sell, but I also ended up having my stuff broken. They could care less.
GO SELL ON MERCARI INSTEAD.
I placed an order for a floral jumpsuit for my niece with a woman named fshminded, she promised that it was in perfect shape, like brand new, I was told. Well I received the package, so I hit that I received the package. Not realizing that once I said received they took it as i meant I opened it, was satisfied and everything was good. Well my niece was away and not able to try on the outfit until several days later. The zipper was stuck and there was a tare on the side and the outfit smelled horrible. I tried to get a refund but told i accepted the package and gave a five star rating, I NEVER gave a rating. Anyway push forward, I tried to get a refund and was told over and over on a boiler plate response, that I accepted the package and after three days no refunds are allowed. The jumpsuit will be thrown in the garbage, what a sin. I would not recommend Poshmark to my enemy, they are a complete and total scam.
I am SO glad I read the reviews PRIOR to even looking at the items or placing an order! This is RIDICULOUS. People just need to stop buying from them period. Instead, somehow make all this go viral because businesses are hurt when their pockets are affected. And also, consumers need to stop looking at items that appear to be gorgeous, etc and they cost $19.99 or $29.99. C'mon people, don't you think that most times the price seems way below average cost!? Welp, most times you get what you pay for. This site clearly is reaping benefits from ladies that just aren't thinking. Hope this review helps someone along the way. DON'T BUY, LEAVE THEM HANGING HIGH!
I placed an order Friday the 8th of June 2018 when I receive it, I open its And its not what I ordered, $300 I spent on a purse of my hard-working money The seller basically scamed me... I have sent several emails to Poshmark and I have received no response at all... I do not know what to do what I do know is that the customer service is really bad and for a billion dollar company this its not acceptable they should not be in business if they cannot keep up with the demand of the customers buyers and sellers on the site... its been 3 days and nothing has been resolved...!
I bought a "lightly used" Doney and Burke purse. My first clue that it was fake was when it arrived, it was stuffed into a generic box in my mailbox. My second clue was that it didn't look or smell like leather. Third clue was that it was in perfect condition, my 4th was that the stitching on the strap was different than in the expensive stores. Contacted seller who vehimitely insisted that it was real. Terrible customer service and I won't shop there again.
I was going to start selling on Poshmark as I wasn't having much luck on Facebook. After I was reading about the company and everything was "perfect", I was scammed (the next day) and I truly believe it came from this site. Now I have to change everything as they "know" everything now. Every time I tried to go to the Poshmark site, my computer tells me it's not a secure site. Hope this helps someone,

Still looking for a good online market site
I purchased a pair of jeans marked waist 32 inches but they were 35 inches. Poshmark and the seller annalisbowman1 would not accept the return. This was not a minor variation but a pair of mismarked pants. Posmark will not accept a return for ANY reason.
I purchased a "new" jacket from Poshmark. It arrived in obviously used condition. I submitted a complaint with pictures that proved beyond a doubt that the jacket was used. In addition, the jacket stunk of perfume. My request for a refund was denied. There is no contact number, you can only contact them via email.
When I tried posting a comment on the seller's website, an error message came up that she had blocked me! If for some reason you order from Poshmark (and I beg you not to), DO NOT ORDER FROM VINTAGE4ME!
I bought a pare of Lysse Leggings on the site that I thought was a good deal. When I opened the packaged the pants weren't even leggings and was a brand I had never heard of. They were ugly AF and looked nothing like what I ordered. The return process is miserable. You'd think Poshmark would give you the money back immediately, but you have to wait DAYS for the review process.
I bought a pair of flats off Poshmark from *******@tstokeli and when i received them they were not as appealing to me. I wanted to return them (never wore the shoes) they asked me to send pics of shoes, i did then they claimed they "looked" worned. I never put the shoes on. They said they will not give me refund, never will i shop there again.
I purchased a LV keepall bag 2 years ago for $899 from a posh seller. This was right after posh concierge rolled out. The bag was first shipped to their concierge address where the bag was authenticated then shipped to me. Fast forward 2 years to May 2017. I listed the same bag for sale on po sh mark for $450. It sold. The buyer took the bag to a LV store where they deemed it not authentic. She opened a case. Now I'm not only out of the cost to ship/return ship my bag but I paid $899 for an aparent fake LV bag and Posh Concierge assured me it was authentic. I got effed. I'm going to attempt to get my money back from posh but if they dont agree what am I supposed to do?
My very first sale on this app was a MK bag and wallet. I paid 395 for the purse and 198 for the wallet, And sold it to a lady on there poshmark name K V@kdv. She bought the purse said it looked nothing like the pictures which was absoulte lie. And returned a whole different purse, and now I don't have the money which I really need or my purse! I have been contacting them for days and they have not responded at all! I literally cried because this is not right, first time selling something and I get scammed. So I'm going to continue to fight for this even if it means I have to go to court
The seller stated the shirt I bought was a mens ogio 2.0 polo but soon as I got the shirt it was a womens. I did a return request on it, i sent pictures in but was told I needed to take more pictures. I was unable to take pictures of the shirt by request from poshmark because I'm an outside salesman traveling and was unable to do so or have anyone do it. I asked Andrew from poshmark if I could take pictures tonight (3-20-20) because that's when I would be able to. But didnt hear anything back but a general message saying you cannot return the item because of time.
The seller was false selling and poshmark didnt help me at all. Will not be using this poshmark again.
I recently bought a dress from *******@Poshmark, and it was totally misrepresented. The dress said red, but showed a dark wine color. It looked really cute. I received the dress, and it was VERY cheaply made, and it was a bright tomato red. NOT CUTE. I had paid thru Paypal so I contacted them that I was leaving on a business trip out of country. They saw no problem. But Poshmark approved the return AFTER I was gone. They told me that I had 2 days to return it... yes TWO days. They wouldn't answer my several emails, telling them I was in Japan, until they said I could no longer return the item. They told me to keep the dress, and gave me a very generous credit of $10. THAT IS SARCASM.
I will NEVER buy from Poshmark again. Beware of the misrepresenting of this site. It's a scam. They don't help the people with any kind of buyer's protection.
Attached see what I thought I was getting, and the 2nd is what I got. BEWARE
Sold a few things on posh Mark without a hitch. Very recently, a member wanted to trade a Tory Burch bag for a Louis Vuitton, I usually don't do trades and I wasn't that interested. But she persisted so I said OK. I sent her my Tory Burch bag and now I have no LV bag or anything else from her she won't communicate with me or anything. Have sent three emails to posh Mark and so far absolutely nothing!
