I bought something in the picture its looks like it is 4 feet long when i got it it was 4' long & they would not take it back or give me back my money
Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.
Never buy from this company... they have non exisitent customer service. I ordered a pair of sandals, they were too small and that does not qualify as a return or exchange.

Be careful, this is a haven for phony products. And they won't cover losses. They have earned themselves a report to the US government over site group on selling fake items.
Im pretty thrown back by some of the reviews on here. Every app has its downfall but this one has way more good things than bad. I find the customer service and seller protection outstanding. You can contact support at anytime and they ALWAYS respond. It can take a few days but then you get a friendly response and they take care of both the seller and buying. They really try to make both parties happy. Im have been upset by this at times in circumstances where i knew i was right and unfortunately, my customer was not. However poshmark is fair and with the 20% fee we pay on every item, they def SHOULD be. In-fact in the rare occasion that someone files a claim for an item that I shipped, poshmark has always found a happy middle, refunding the customer or allowing them to ship the item back to me. I make about $1000-$1200 a month selling on poshmark... have become quite the fashionista and brand expert and have increased my marketing knowledge even more enabling me to also be successful on sites such as instagram. Do I WISH they did not take so much money off... especially from the high prices items, SURE but the good still outweighs the bad by ten folds!
I'm pretty picky when it comes to customer service and poshmark is excellent. Unlike Mercari, they have a LIVE TEAM OF HUMANS (not just computers) dealing with any issues you might have that try to help as much as possible! 9/10 times I'm completely satisfied with their solutions! I wish their % cut was a bit less, but I still make a good deal selling on PM and I've purchased great deal items off this app, as well. I'm OBSESSED...
The customer service is unacceptable, i still did not received my refund, it's 20 days, they support the seller that are not legitimate, overall don't shop on poshmark, nightmare, fraud, scam
Wish I could've given no stars anyway this website is terrible won't ever do business with this company ever again rip-off sellers and fake advertising you may NEVER get what you pay for: I paid for several items and never received them then was given a hard time through PayPal trying to get my money back, Do yourselves a favor and never ever shop here: I'll rather pay full price that way I know I'm getting Quality and not the painful HASSLE of BS on both ends: boost you up with "Buyer protection" How fraudulent and fake!
Never use this site! Can't change your mind, can't find any way to successfully communicate with the company. Is' awful. I should have read the reviews first, they are true.
I sold a rare, limited edition necklace on Poshmark that you can no longer purchase from the actual vendor. I packaged it very securely and wrapped it in bubble wrap several times. Next thing I know, the buyer is filing a claim saying the necklace does not match the listing. Apparently a couple of clasps came off, and she wanted to return it. She even contacted me directly via email and sent me pictures. Stupid idea, because I could clearly see that the clasps were ripped off by pliers, and that kind of damage could not occur during the shipment process.
Poshmark never even reached out to me. Next thing I know, I receive another email saying they are approving the return. Um hello, where is the buyer protection here? Don't you guys have an insurance deal with the shipping company? I sent an email response to Poshmark complaining about this whole ordeal, and received a very light hearted reply, that definitely seemed computer generated.
So thanks a lot Poshmark, now I am receiving back a broken rare necklace that never had any issues to begin with. Such a joke!
Do not sell anything on Poshmark! Poshmark is extremely sketchy and they do not have ANY FORM OF RELIABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. That means that if you need help with anything, you literally have to figure it out or wait WEEKS TO GET an email response. I sold a pair of expensive shoes via Poshmark with the market price of 675. Poshmark DOES NOT ADHERE TO THEIR OWN POLICIES. Funds are guaranteed to be released 72 hours after the package has been delivered. However, it has been 7 days for me total and I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE FROM POSHMARK. This website will only bring a huge headache. Ebay is much better.
I purchased a string of Christmas lights. Naturally I should have expected- several were dead and the lights were just thrown in a bag (not in a box as advertised) and then in a box.
Same situation happen to me and they don't have a phone number that actually works. It's constantly busy and only do e-mails. They are nothing but white trash thieves!
Thank you Sheffield for the fast service, it arrived just in time!
What a nice gesture... the necklace is beautiful and I'll wear it on my trip.
God bless!
Poshmark doesn'tcare about dishonest sellers, sell fake luxurious bags. Hope people doesn't buy there anymore. I made mistake trusting in a seller, fake bag, sending mails and photos and anybody doesn't do nothing. I did call my bank I hope I can do something. DONT TRUST POSHMARK photos givenchy nightingale belt
Shame on you Poshmark for NOT enforcing your published policies.

I bought a BCBG snakeskin clutch and when I received it I couldn't believe how horrible, cheap looking was! I took it to a BCBG store that confirmed it was a fake. I sent multiple emails with pictures and Posh at the end claimed the purse was authentic and would not give me my money back. Horrible customer service, what company doesn't have a number where you can talk to a person? I would not recommend this site to ANYONE!
People on this site must forget they are selling items. Hugely disappointing to want to purchase items and the seller is no where to be found, via messaging or such. Really gets your hopes up.

I had listed over 60 items, I was excited I thought this was a brilliant way to get rid of things without the hassel of Marketplace and meeting up and so forth. COMPLETELY WRONG.
I sold a pair of expensive sunglasses, had post pictures and shipped in the packaging I received my prescription glasses in so it was safe packaging.
The buyer proceeds to return them after they damaged them! Poshmark opened a case I showed pictures of the condition the glasses were in when I packaged them and they granted the buyer the return- even after I showed pictures of the glasses- why would I ship broken glasses when they would just send them right back? And if they were damaged from shipping they should have opened a case with carrier
So basically I shipped 200$ pair of glasses to pay for return shipping for them to come back broken from the buyer. Flawed system.
Just save yourself and your goods and don't use Poshmark.
No return policy allows you to get ripped off
I bought an item for my correct size but has a poor fit and I am stuck with a $100 pair of shoes that don't fit
I have a beautiful Louis Vuitton handbag that I tried to sell on Poshmark. Poshmark kept putting restrictions on my account making it very difficult to list my item. I was a first-time seller and for there to be any restrictions on my first post, was extremely confusing. Once I was able to post my LV handbag and was lucky enough to get it sold, they CANCELLED my order. I shipped it to the buyer and without any reason as to why Poshmark Cancelled my order (not the buyer because I had reached out and they seemed as confused as I was). Poshmark does NOT have anyone you can speak with over the phone, everything has to be done via email and their emails give very little, if any, information.
Do NOT waste your time.
Tip for consumers:
Save yourself time, money, and a headache. Use ANY other website besides Poshmark!!

I made my first purchase on Poshmark for a $600 pair of Chanel sunglasses. After paypal them, someone named Melanie emailed me to sreenshot my bank statement with my full name and address to verify the authorization.
I talked to Paypal. They adviced me not to give my bank info to Poshmark and opened a dispute for me.
Then I tried to contact the seller to tell her what was happenning and the seller already blocked me.
Poshmark is not a trust worthy!
First and last experience-never again. Ordered ladies dress pants, received children's pants. Poshmark refused my refund request. Twenty-six dollars wasted.
I have been buying and selling on Poshmark for a year now. I have not had a bad experience like some of the other reviewers, but I always ask a lot of questions (measurements, any flaws, etc.) before purchasing. Motivated, honest sellers will answer your questions in a timely manner. If you do not get communication, that is a red flag to avoid that person! Check out the seller's profile, read their comments and comments left by others. Remember, merchandise is often used, so you cannot rely on what you think your size is, you have to ask questions and compare to measurements of your current clothing or buy brands that you know will fit you. If you do this and the merchandise is not as described, Posh will assist you (you have a designated period of time to contact them). Posh looks at the listing description and your communication with the seller. If you didn't ask for clarification before purchasing, Posh cannot tell your were mislead and will respond by telling you that sizes vary; because after all, they really do! Motivated sellers ship within 3 days, unless otherwise noted. If they do not ship within 7 days, you can cancel, and it is very simple to do so (I did that once). No problem, that seller didn't need my business! Overall, Posh is a retail site, don't get caught up in the drama some provide with the comments. If someone is unfair or rude, block them! Your should be there to look for great deals on merchandise (you'll find many), not to chat anyway :)
Poshmark protects their sellers at any cost. It has quietly made a change involving buyers' protection. While buyers can still use Paypal as an extra protection, they no longer have an option to login to Paypal. Heck it is not even an option, rather an order coming from Poshmark directly. Like doing it our way or no way. I have found out the hard way.
It looks like Poshmark is having their own Paypal within their site... I know it does not make sense so take it for what it's worth.
What's more, should you happened to have a misfortune of not receiving your purchase by mail, you end up emailing the Poshmark support — yes emailing — using your own email address. In this age of spammers lurking, it's rather funny for lack of better word.
As a result, a purchasing transaction does not show on the Paypal website at all. Hence the buyers are losing the perceived extra protection coming from Paypal as it used to be before the aforementioned change. This change was made rather quietly although I am sure is buried in the Terms of Use somewhere. Not announced by email or by other means. It appears that Poshmark does not care about buyers' protection which is rather sad. I am not going to make any purchases on Poshmark website and don't recommend others using it. There are better alternatives.
Tip for consumers:
Due to the recent changes made rather quietly, Poshmark does NOT offer much protection for the buyers. Login to Paypal is poof gone, hence no more extra protection as it used to be back in the day. Paypal is still used as an option, albeit in a new Poshmark way, efficiently eliminating an extra protection for the buyers.
What's more, all buyers' claims are submitted using buyers' actual email address and not from within the Poshmark site.
Stay away, there are better alternatives.

I did not receive it and am disappointed
Unless you charge your customer a ridiculous shipping you won't even make half of what your listing was originally worth. It also takes months to sell certain items.
Total waste of time--ordered sunglasses--order never fulfilled. Run around from cust serv--no answer back from seller. What a scam, they held my money for 3 weeks. Total bs.
