Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

No controls for scammers. I could not even find the reviews/feedback for sellers before you purchase. I do know to BE SURE to look for when the seller was last on line. Many shops abandoned and Poshmark does not delete within a reasonable time of inactivity. I almost purchased from a seller who had not been on line since April of 2016. Make sure you send a message and ask every question from the seller regarding an item before purchase. PAY THROUGH PAYPAL FOR PROTECTION WHEN POSHMARK IGNORES YOU. THEY WILL GET ACTION. I am sure there are honest sellers on the site. But have found most are not up front of honest about the listings even if you do get the product. BUYER BEWARE----BUYER BEWARE!

I have been asking for help with a damaged return from customer service for a month now and have an email string if 26 emails with Poshmark's customer service team and "supposedly " a manager. They refuse to help resolve this issue and continue to skim over the details where I've explained my case was closed out by the time my items were delivered back to me, as their response is that I did not file a case that the return was damaged upon receipt, so they closed the case. I emailed them immediately explaining my case was closed and added photos with proof of damage and they refuse to help. I've been a loyal customer and seller for over 2 years and have a 4.95 rating with over 79 ratings and over $1,100 sold. Never ever had an issue, but they refuse to help me with this one. I've requested a higher up manager and they reply with "we've added a $10 credit to your account as a 1x courtesy." But do not address my actual issue/complaints. Again, this has been going on for 4 weeks and I'm on email #24 at this point. The absolute worst customer service experience yet. I would walk away from doing business with them, but the community is mostly amazing and I've never encountered an issue like this and according to Poshmark's standards, they value their customers/ sellers, so I'm holding them accountable.

Be careful with returns and customer support

Poshmark is a great idea, but they fail to execute it very well. First, their shipping options are nonexistent. I've had my eye on several items that seemed well priced, but when you take the $5.95 shipping fee into consideration, the idea of going through with the purchase seems ridiculous-- especially when the item in mind is a small object (e.g., earrings) that should not cost much to ship. Second, customer service is only available via email, thus, response time is long. If you need fast attention, you're out of luck. I had changed my shipping address then purchased an item, but the new address was not reflected in the label (another ding). When I requested that the label be reissued, it took two days for action, at which point the item had already shipped. Then once I did hear from someone, they had fixed the wrong address (the sender's) with my old address-- so now both the "to" and "from" addresses were the same address and also both my old address. Another day went by to be able to correct the new error... Needless to say, my item arrived in an untimely fashion.

Bought some boots and they were junk obviously worn before and just junk. They won't let me return for a refund. Fifty dollars. Might as well have thrown the money out the window Don't use then

Even if you have sent them all the proofs that the buyer misled you in buying their items they will still decline your refund request. Only because they got a part of your money already! BS!

I was a buyer and seller on Poshmark. I once loved this place as it felt a little bit better than others in every way. But things changed as I started to make more sells and I had to use Customer Service more. I would ask questions that were met with answers that had nothing to do with my question. For example, I asked if people can see my love notes. This was answered by saying that they were sorry but they were never going to remove my bad review as they stood behind it Etc etc etc. Cut and paste replies. My last transaction was a Starbucks Tumbler that had not hit the shelves yet which I purchased at full ask price and full shipping price. This seller sat on the Tumbler for 8 days before they shipped it. Poshmark would block my efforts to stop the sale in every way. I finally receive it and wrote Poshmark. They immediately closed the ticket and paid out the seller and themselves BEFORE I opened the package. When they asked how I felt about their decision, I hit the red face emoji. My last email was the most personable and threatening. They email me to offer a coupon and tell me that if I don't close the ticket, it would negatively affect my account and payment to my bank. This company is the worst I have ever seen and I will never give them a chance again.

They are not what they once were.

I am appalled by Poshmark-
I have been selling my items on this site- first time ever I purchased a high ticket item-$1600 - they were supposed to ship signature required as per their claimed policy- this item was shipped USPS- mail. I never received and I got an unprofessional email saying they are not responsible for lost packages- no one to talk to- I have done everything they have asked me to do - they can not provide proof this was sent signature required - I am completely flabbergasted fasted by the lack of responsibility- I have dealt with tradesy, vestiaire collective but this company is a joke do not buy from them do not trust them.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away- their customer service is horrible - almost useful- automated message no number to call - ok to purchase low value items maybe but for high ticket items never trust them

PAID $185 FOR WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE A FAKE BURBERRY SHIRT AND POSHMARK DOES NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. THANKFULLY, I PAID FOR IT WITH PAYPAL. AT THE SAME TIME I GOT A PAIR OF BURBERRY BOOTS AND THEY WERE WAY TOO SMALL AND THEY CAN'T BE RETURNED. REVIEWS FOR SELLING ON POSHMARK ARE VERY BAD, BUT THEY ARE THE WINNER SINCE THEY DO VERY FEW REFUNDS. POSHMARK SAID THAT I CAN SELL THE BOOTS ON POSHMARK TO GET MY MONEY BACK. REALLY? H, E, DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS, NO!

I have to find a way to post the communication between the Posh Support Team and myself... I've given Posh many chances, and the website is truly a RIP-OFF! You may as well give your items to someone who would appreciate them, or sell them somewhere else. Posh takes ALL your money, and there's no way to verify whether a buyer has added defects to your product before opening a claim and requesting a refund. BE VERY CAREFUL!

As stated by others…Poshmark has ZERO guarantee hence you are stuck with poor quality items from sellers who strategically select Poshmark to support their DECEPTIONS!. I purchased a blouse a few days ago 05/18/22 from the seller, anew_threads, who knew she had misrepresented the Chico blouse size. I informed Poshmark on the same day received that it was NOT as described which they posted as a basis for a refund. They lied! Wanted me to reposh so they could make more money! I will NOT buy from the this seller (M. W.) in Springdale, AR nor POSHMARK again.If I could give zero star I would have!

Tip for consumers:
There is truly ZERO refunds by Poshmark & their sellers rather than making deceptive posting that there is! The most they will do is have you REPOSH so they can get more money for themselves off of the same sale!

Most of my orders were perfect except one - Seller Robyncantor convinced me that she throw in a pair of earrings I was watching, but when I got my order, she switched up and put in some rubber bracelets, and lied about the Earrings, saying C she didn't say it. Luckily, I still had the e Ed mail but Poshmark did nothing

I sent out an Item the customer gives me a one star rating I always get a 5 Star rating when I go to see why... it says... DID NOT RECEIVE well I look at tracking and it says Delivered yes delivered. So I contact Poshmark and I say you sent the label I did my part I shipped the Item It says delivered so either the customer the Post office lost it why am I getting the one star you lost it you should get the one star not me. They say they can't change the rating... but its not my rating its your rating! RIGHT >>who runs these companies? Rich debbiedapparel2.com

I bought shoes, sent in the wrong color. I applied for a refund same day. No response, on the third attempt they said it was too late to return. They said they requested photos, which they did not and could not prove to me they had been sent. I will dispute this charge on my credit card. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY OR HONESTLY

Expect the worst if there's an issue with your sales. I sold an item that was double checked to be spotless and have pictures of the item to show Poshmark( pictures shown in the red background). Also double check with my original seller, that I brought the item from, to confirm that the item was spotless. The buyer posts picture of the item with stains and the company concludes the stains to come from the seller because they said;

Although we do take all information submitted by the seller into consideration when deciding a case we must give weight to the most recently taken photos of the item( Poshmark customer service). Now I am forced to take the item with new stains. THANKS POSHMARK FOR THE ACCUSATION! Poshmark truly didn't handle this case fairly because Poshmark did not consider both photos of the item (from before and after it was sent) to have equal values.

I purchased a David Yurman cuff for $300. First it didn't include the little bag although the picture had it. When I tried to clean it, changed colors. I have sent numerous emails and nothing. I never gave the ok to release the funds but they did. Now, Poshmark claims that there's nothing they can do.
DO NOT PURCHASE OF GREAT VALUE WITH POSHMARK.

UNBELIEVABLE POLICY--AVOID!
Pursuing action for discrimination against disabled.

My disabled mother uses this app. She is east coast, I'm west. She bought several items from 1 seller and received 1 small worthless item she didn't order. The seller said she'd mixed up her order with another, and my mom had to mail the mistake to the intended recipient. Otherwise she gets no refund and no product she ordered.

Mom explained she's disabled, homebound, and has no one in the area. The company backs the seller, refuses to refund her, and she received nothing she paid for. They will not even acknowledge her pleas for an exception to this terrible "policy" that buyer have to fix a seller's mess up.

I'm helping her pursue legal action. If they would simply refund, because the seller made a mistake, we could move on. But sadly no. Oh and what's more, they continue to harass her daily with demands to send the wrong item (worthless) to the person the seller was supposed to send it to.

Unbelievably they will not simply refund her for what she paid for and never received. Seems simple right? We could all avoid this horrible experience we are dealing with. Nope. They stand firm protecting the seller's mistake. Sickening.

I have sold thousands of dollars (and earned poshmark quite a bit in the process) on their site over the years, I have been a top rated seller, and have glowing reviews. You would think with all this that Poshmark would try to be somewhat helpful and accommodating when an issue arises... well not even close. A buyer purchased something from me, complained and asked for a refund using filtered photos and what I can only assume is that they damaged the product after using it--and poshmark allowed for the return. It was a low priced sale so it was annoying, but not the end of the world. However, this made me concerned for future sales and I asked poshmark what they do to protect sellers from buyers cheating us and they basically have nothing in place and were less than helpful or sympathetic to my case. They would not address specific concerns or information in my emails and just offered generic information that did not help in my case. I let them know that I am frustrated and worried that I will be cheated on high priced items in the future and am questioning if I should keep my account if that is the case. Their response was to send me a step by step on how to delete my account if I am unhappy. I am amazed at how terrible their customer service is and will be sticking to sites like Tradesy which operate professionally and have some respect for the people selling on their site and earning them money. Do yourself a favor and avoid poshmark as a seller.

These guys will take down your listing on the grounds that it is a replica EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT. I went back and forth with these people for almost 1 week. UTTERLY inept response and they ask you for the proof of the receipt and invoice. How many sellers on Poshmark still have a receipt or invoice? INCOMPETENT. ILLOGICAL. IRRATIONAL. They will SINGLE YOU OUT and shut down your listings while actually replica ads run RAMPANT.

I purchased a new $158 Tommy Bahama shirt that was listed as LARGE. When it arrived it was a MEDIUM. Poshmark was of NO HELP and released my money to this seller anyway. After litterally 25 emails Poshmark replied "we gave you a full day to send pictures and you didn't". ONE DAY? So this fraudulent seller got away scott free and Poshmark enables her.

What about Poshmark? Depends if your a buyer or seller. You will find some great deals if your a buyer. If your a kid that only needs gas money - be a seller. Lots of great stuff for $5 and free shipping. Kids don't have many needs and aren't seasonsed sellers - good place to learn for them but they are seriously taken advantage of. PM capitalizes on their ignorance and love of social buz. If you are trying to sell. You will be competing with thousands of sellers selling stuff for $3 - $5. Be prepared for PM to hijack your phone contacts!

I recently sold an authentic Louis Vuitton Papillon 30 with mini bag for $375!. The buyer accepted it with no problem so funds were released to my account! Few hours later I receive an email that my listing were removed because the bags I already sold and accepted by the buyer with no complaints are replica or counterfeit! I was furious since I know Damon well my bags were authentic and I have the paperwork to prove it! Anyway I emailed customer service to clarify the issue and all I've gotten so far is multiple generic responses that selling counterfeit are against the law and they will not release my $375 single email the bag was counterfeit! I'm not sure where they are getting their facts or they just pulled it out of their $#*!! So frustrating and unprofessional people! They have the audacity to steal money from honest sellers and accuse you with false allegations! I've never encountered such this as this! Horrible site! They are out to steal money whichever way they can! They should be sued and out of business! Bunch of scams!

Beware - poshmark WILL STEAL FROM YOU!
I had to return a few of the items I purchased and I got refund for only one of them, Poshmark is claiming they got all through but my Venmo account is showing only 1. At the moment Poshmark owes me $100, I asked several times for someone to contact me but had no luck, zero response.
Very disappointing experience.

Poshmark's return/refund policy is a complete SCAM! I purchased a dress that was advertised as a size small and I received a large. When I submitted my request to return the item for a refund, I was told that I should have questioned the seller as to the fit of the item. This is a brand that I wear often and know the fit/sizing well. I wrote them back, explaining again that this was not an issue of fit, but rather a misrepresentation of the size of the item being sold. Return/refund still refused! I will be deleting the app and discontinuing doing business with Poshmark. Not to be trusted.
DO NOT BUY CLOTHING VIA THIS APP!

This site ia horrible I had issues with Seller of an item and they contacted customer service to get it fixed so I can get my item and they never heard back from them and they held my money forever even though I wasn't going to get an item then I sold something and I had the same issue couldn't print out my label sent them SEVEN emails because there's no number to call them and they never responded back. Added them to a conversation between me and a seller which is an option but they just say contact customer service caise they don't respond to you. Shippings is really expensive its 8 dollars even if its a small item. They take 20% of whatever you sell thats twice as much as other sites.

Ive been reading all the comments in here and ALL OF YOU ARR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Totally agreed on all your posts. Poshmark is a SCAM! This platfrom sucks. They don't know how to take care both of the sellers and buyers. Well more of the seller side. It sucks to think that they just judge your listing right away without checking it first. Completely UNFAIR TREATMENT! Never be selling on this SITE! I hope this selling site get closed. Lol anyway, enough of this ranting. Just wouldn't recommend this site for selling and buying stuff!
