Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

Not working well for me yet as seller although it is very easy to get a lot of followers. Seems more people are trying to sell than folks want to buy on Poshmark. High Shipping cost and 20% commission to poshmark makes buyers think twice about shopping here.

Stick with Ebay, Poshmark has screwed me multiple times in that I have purchased several things and only ever received about half. Most sellers give very little info on their listings, and wont answer questions when you ask.

I am a 5 star seller who strives to sell items accurately and ship quickly. At least 8 times, I've received an order not the color as pictured (poor photography), or orders haven't been fulfilled, or flaws haven't been disclosed. I have gotten some very nice items, but one has to be very cautious of who they're dealing with (you have NO idea). Check "about" to see when they were last on--but even that's not failsafe. I will probably "close my closet" at the end of 2021, due to the hassle. Also, PM takes 20% of earnings. Yeah, it's nice that shipping is predetermined, but I feel other apps like Mercari are better as far as customer support.

First time using Poshmark. Made two purchases. First buyer didn't even know she'd made a sale. Had to message her twice. Second purchase, seller hasn't shipped and doesn't respond to messages. Won't be using this website again. Too much hassle. EBay got it right so why can't they?

Don't bother buying anything from Poshmark. You'll regret it. Seller cancelled sale saying item was no longer available, but the item is still listed. My credit card was charged! There are plenty of other online sites where you can buy second hand clothing and goods. I get the feeling a lot of these women who sell on Poshmark are desperate for money, have cc debt and are unprofessional sellers.

There are a lot of people selling junk on this site, just like everywhere only worse. Twice I got bad products - dried up makeup, shoes with soles half off, sweater with huge holes, etc. After lodging complaint, with photos, was told the transaction stood. Poshmark supports sellers and leaves buyers in the hole.

Tip for consumers:
This site does not protect buyers but sides with the seller on almost all complaints.

What a waste of time! It appears to be more of a social site to interact with your favorite follower. I've listed brand new items, marked them competitively, dropped prices and followed their tips... NOTHING! You'd do better donating your items for the tax deduction. Seriously, I've begun removing my items, and if I think there's still an opportunity to make some money, I go with eBay. This site doesn't deserve the credit they get from the reviews I first read about which sites were best for reselling your professional clothes, etc. They're no better than Thredup and that's pretty bad.

Poshmark needs to be shut down immediately! They don't let you return anything. I would suggest to stay far away from these con artists. Shop the reputable sites like Amazon and eBay. This worthless place doesn't even have a customer service number you can call. I will never shop this place of horrors ever again!

I have purchase Ray Ban sunglasses. They arrived and are FAKE! I paid $70. For a $5 item. Poshmark is giving me the run around stating my pictures are not clear enough. The MADE IN CHINA PHOTO is extremely clear!, this should not have been an issue at all. There is no where that I can find to call. I have left comments with my complaints, and obviously they don't read the. I told them I was out of town and would take care of it on Monday. Then I received a notice on Sunday saying my time was running out. HORRID customer service.

I've been a poshmark buyer and seller for almost 10 years. Relatively successful selling and pretty terrible overall buying experiences. More things wrong than right. Most recently bought a pair of jeans that were misrepresented - reached out to posh during the allotted time and was asked to provide additional pictures - and I did. Twice. Now they sent an email saying they've closed the case and I can't return the jeans because I didn't send the pictures! I have the damn emails! Infuriating and not the first time they've done me like this, but it will be the last. Good job losing a decade long customer Poshmark; hope it was worth it.

Tip for consumers:
You cannot return items. Apparently even if they’re misrepresented. Buyer beware!!

People who sell on here are rude and don't send out the package promptly even when asked nicely ( Olivia Hayes especially) Don't buy. Not sure why but the seller thinks she's too good to respond right after I made purchase she completely ignored me after I payed for the item, meanwhile on her ‘about' account page says she was active in the last hour. They seller will delete your honest comments that happen to make her look bad.
I don't recommend buying clothing like jeans off here bc it's shrunken stuff people are trying to make money off and Poshmark refuses to refund- you can't return anything! The only safe clothing article to buy off here is a pair of shoes. Just ask for extra photos of whatever shoes you buy. Beware.

I really wish someone had warned me of how dangerous Poshmark is, it's an open online forum that allows scammers to prey on those who innocently want to buy and sell consignment. There is no way to contact Poshmark, you can email them but good luck getting a response, basically your emails get $#*! into oblivion along with your money and property and they don't care because either way they're getting their cut right? Complete and total bull$#*! please don't be a victim to this company, there are so many scammers circling like sharks just waiting to take your money and your things!

Poshmark takes 20% cut of all sales but won't protect buyers from misrepresented items. Bought a jacket listed as new, definitely had a distinct smell with some other signs of minor wear. Poshmark's response was that they or seller wouldn't accept returns and won't refund anything but I certainly could resell on their platform, where they could take another 20%. They mentioned I could charge more and even resell as new?! Not sure what that 20% cut buys, except rent in Redwood City. As a buyer you have much better protections and options via eBay, so there's really no reason to buy anything of value on Poshmark, as it's all at the buyer's risk. Truly surprised at their lack of real customer service. Won't use again.

Tip for consumers:
Buy at eBay instead - much better buyer protections (than no buyer protections).

Poshmark is a platform used by scammers to steal from the public. That is the bottom line. Buyer beware! I tried buying two items, both were fraudulently described and the size was marked incorrect. They were a rayon material that had been shrunk due to poor care and then sold at original size. One item even came crumpled and smelly. This is just a scam platform for desperate sellers trying to make a buck off of throw away quality merchandise.

Definitely don't recommend Poshmark purchases. Accidentally ordered wrong color men's shorts. Requested simple even-exchange for right color. Offered to work directly with actual Seller and pay for any resultant shipping charges. Poshmark Customer Service rejected my offer 3 times because of their "all sales are final" policy. Then they wanted me to complete a nearly impossible ultra-bureaucratic "open-an-account" maze. I explained I'm 73 years old and have only a simple flip phone. Poshmark didn't care! Finally gave up and returned unwanted shorts to the Seller at my cost. Assured Seller I would pay for article because she did absolutely nothing wrong.

I am very satisfied with my purchases. Shipping is sometimes 25-50% of the cost of an item if you add tax, which discourages me from buying cheaper items. Many sellers report spitefully about receiving low offers for their used merchandise as if this a personal insult. Makes me smile because it's a website for used mass-produced products.:-)

Tip for consumers:
Offer what an item is worth to you, not what a seller thinks it is worth. Not all sellers will accept your offer but those you are interested in getting rid of used items will.

Poshmark has the worst technical problems. All the time listings disappear, contact customer service no reply until 24 hrs later if lucky, then they claim something triggered their automated system, and they do restore the listings immediately. There seems to be a LOT of females on this sight who troll and try to cause trouble. Its truly not worth the time to list here unless you are just selling used clothing and can just give it away

When is Poshmark going to tell us that their platform
Postmark's platform was hacked & customers' personal information such as the stored credit card numbers, bank account information, emails with pass words (connected to an app) etc were stolen & sold on the dark web. Not one notice given to its clients. I had to find out this info from a ID theft monitoring company. Everyone needs to change all their passwords to all their accounts that are attached to Poshmark. With this & then some lies about Columbus Day interfering with paying people (I'm sure that's when the hack occured) I am no longer interested in using this platform & I don't recommend that you do either.

I've found that Poshmark sides with the seller, especially the rude/unprofessional sellers. Not showing true ratings, only "love notes" is incredibly deceiving and doesn't inform potential buyers as it should.

My experience with one particular seller, an ambassador, was bad enough to merit a negative review of her accusatory and poor communication over a purchase, but with the way Poshmark set up their site, there's no way to do that. This seller is a truly abhorrent individual who showed me Poshmark should be used as a last resort purchasing option. I just bought a hoodie I've been searching for because they were the only platform selling the item I wanted. Otherwise, I won't ever shop there if I can help it.

Protecting bad sellers is disappointing and shady. No wonder so many people are dissatisfied with this site.

Tip for consumers:
Be very careful about the purchases you commit to buying. I was within the acceptance window and Poshmark auto accepted for me, despite my request to return because the item wasn't as described. So be prepared to eat the cost, even if you don't like the item that arrives.

I have sold for years on poshmark but in the last year my satisfaction has wained significantly. Buyers low ball regularly, packages with brand new items disappear mysteriously, buyers purposely damage items to get a refund, postmark supports the buyer not the seller, fees for selling are high. I will never use this app again!

I love everything about Poshmark except the shipping costs. Time to boycott it til they offer more options. Seriously, $6.49 no matter what item?! Ridiculous. No one wins. Buyers pay more. Sellers sell less. And the company wastes money.

Poshmark wanted to be petty by giving me a 1- star rating for my honest review so I just came back to show some love & change my initial 2-star rating (was being nice at first) to 1-star! I sold something on Poshmark for $200 & they took $40 out of it, leaving me with $160! The seller fees are way too high! Poshmark charges 20% while Ebay withholds 10%! Who do these people think they are?!?

I bought a romper that the seller said the measurements would fit. It was so awkwardly fitting! Of course I spent 91.95 for this stupid thing I could never wear. However Postmark States it was not misrepresented. Might as well burn 92.00. Plus you can't talk to anyone have to email. Fed up and screw off!

There's almost no customer service and very little recourse for buyers who get ripped off. Most of the clothing is overpriced by sellers who don't seem to understand the concept of depreciation. I have not bought anything expensive here and I advise others to proceed with caution. If you're looking for used designer handbags there are resale sites out there that back up the things they sell.
