Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

I put a very expensive Chloe bag on this site, sold it, the site was paid from the buyer and they have never paid me for the bag! E-mails to the site have gone unanswered. There is no way to call them. I would give them no stars but that isn't an option. VERY DISREPUTABLE BUSINESS

On Oct 10,2023 I was charged $36.80 for Vigoss jeans which never arrived from vendor *******740CA whoever that is. Impossible to get in touch with vendor. Judy A. Smith Austin Tx. *******967.

You get no info as to how to contact the seller. Your money is taken and your items are not sent to you. When you inquire about where is your item, they offer to "cancel" so you do NOT get your item and your MONEY is GONE!
NEVER AGAIN POSHMARK! Beware! Beware! Beware!

The worst. I don't know what their system is on making determinations about items being counterfeit, but it seems totally random. They just remove your listing and send you an email that they determined your item is counterfeit. The first time they did it I provided documentation proving it was not and they put my item back up. Then a week or so later they did it again on the very same item. After contacting them they apologized and put the listing back up. Then they did it to me again on a different item, again an authentic item. Then they pulled ALL of my listings down without any explanation. They say they respond to issues within 24 hours except on weekends or holidays, but that is untrue. It usually takes 3 or more days to get a response. All of this went on within the first 20 days of starting on Poshmark. I am still waiting on a response from them on my latest issue of all my listings being removed. Once I hear back, I will delete my account. I have since read hundreds of horror stories about this site.

Was going to place a BIG Order with Poshmark. UNTIL I READ ALL THE COMPLAINTS... GEE! You LOST A CUSTOMER!... Sad for YOU :( HAPPY FOR ME :) I won; t get Screwed. Why would a company NOT COMPLY with their customers?! This is just awful! ALL I CAN SAY, IS I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THOSE that made the Order... No one deserves to be taken/./ We all work hard for our money. May each of the customers do their search FIRST BEFORE ORDERING. I Was about to ORDER THEN I READ ALL THE UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS. THIS IS NOT HOW PEOPLE WANT TO BE TREATED... HOPE EVERYONE HAS HEALED FROM THEIR AWFUL EXPERIENCE. MAY WE USE MORE WISDOM! AND STOP BELIEING WHAT WE HEAR...

Customer service is none existent sellers can pretty much lie about their murchandise and refunds are none existent when you get ripped off by a seller.

I ordered a pair of black American Eagle sweatpants that they DONT EVEN SELL ANYMORE! I paid $20 bucks and waited a month for it but then the person selling the pants CANCELLED MY ORDER! I would not recommend. I did get a refund tho

I provide picture evidence of a wrong size listed by the seller on an item I purchased. Poshmark responded by jerking me around with more pictures in a system that wouldn't let me add new pictures...

I love this site I get designer items for a fraction of the cost. And you make new friends. The only downfall is shipping is expensive only reason why I don't shop on it as much!

I purchased a Coach purse from here and got it, I did not accept the order because it was clearly a fake when I received it. Coach does not verify purses, but I took it to a REAL COACH STORE and they said they have never had this purse ever and it clearly was a fake. Poshmark apparently thinks they are Coach experts and without seeing it and only photos from the seller, who claimed it was authentic, Poshmark denied the claim saying it was authentic. REALLY. So I am stuck with a fake purse because some Poshmark person on the back end thinks they are an expert. Beware of this site for fakes!

I have sold numerous things on this site and people take advantage of niceness and accommodation. Buyers buy things and once they don't like it or change their mind file a case review and Poshmark will side with the buyer 100% of the time in less than a day! The website has no loyalty to the sellers even though without the sellers Poshmark wouldn't exist! Buyers will give low ball offers even though a lot of of the items are super low. EX. $ 5 for a Nasty Girl leather top already marked at $15 and NEVER WORN! I am the last one to write a review but I had glasses shipped out perfectly and the girl said they were damaged and lenses were popped out even though wrapped in tissue paper inside a bag, but because of "proof" with pictures it was accepted to return. This company in the bay area is a joke and not respected clearly by the bay nor users. Bottom line: if you are a seller-get ready to be at the mercy of the buyers and even though they know what they are buying they will get you in trouble and want a return which will be gladly accepted

I have bought two items via Poshmark to date. The latter was just this week. The former was earlier this year, and that seller was upfront about everything in the item's description. However, this recent purchase arrived with my finding out that the seller never disclosed that the item was not perfect as the description stated. I left a 3* rating with commentary as to my reason for giving this seller less than 5*'s. However, I have learned that negative reviews are never publicized on the seller's profile. Instead the only reviews that are publicized are glowing 5* reviews (aka Love Notes). Poshmark's FAQ's states that it's so that buyers will feel confident if they see a seller's love notes. However, that is totally one-sided because a buyer should get to see negative reviews also in order to make a better informed decision about buying an item or not. For myself, this recent purchase is a pair of shoes where one side of the shoe the innersole was removed partially in order to insert one of those ball of foot foot pads. The material is made from cork and is messy to remove. Because of this issue it makes the shoe tight and the pad can be felt as it was placed badly so it has a bump. But due to the price being excellent I just sucked it up and allowed the seller to have her cash. So people really need to be very mindful about buying on Poshmark since one will not see the seller's negative reviews, if any.

NEVER and I repeat NEVER shop at Poshmark on line!

I purchased a handbag which arrived damaged. I made a complaint. Postmark requested photos of the good side and damaged side. I returned photos per their request 4 times, which Poshmark says they have not received, BUT, I have the 4 confirmations informing me they received my photos.

ALSO, Poshmark is not suppose to pay the seller until the buyer has ACCEPTED " click the green button" - which I still have NOT done... guess what. You are right, the seller received her money and I am left with a damaged purse. But, you know what... I am satisfied by leaving NEGATIVE FEEDBACK where ever and whenever I can. They didn't get the best of me. I will continue leaving NEGATIVE feedback when ever I can

I've had multiple sales by ethical buyers that went beautifully and I received 5 star ratings on all of them. I always disclose any minor flaws in my listing so a buyer can purchase with confidence. Then, I had a buyer purchase a designer handbag and damage it so she could return it. After she damaged it, she sent pictures of the item to Poshmark stating it wasn't as described. Poshmark stood 100% behind the buyer and scolded me for the oversight. There was no oversight because the flaws didn't exist when it was shipped. When the now damaged item was returned, the buyer had crammed it into a small mailing box without the waterproof bag or bubble wrap I sent with it when it was shipped. I had also included a gift which she kept. Poshmark did nothing. After I video tapped the condition the buyer returned the handbag to me, Poshmark only offered me a $15 credit if I bought something off the website which insures they make money off of my next purchase. What a joke. Now I have a damaged item worth a lot less because the buyer that also sells on Poshmark worked their system. If you sell on this site, you better video tape your item while packing it and zoom in on everything. You only have 8 photos spots when you list, so all the buyer has to do is damage it where the picture isn't zoomed in. However, that being said I don't believe Poshmark would do the right thing. Seller beware on this site. You will take a risk selling and won't have Poshmark's support if/when you need it.

I made my first order on poshmark a few weeks ago. I ordered an authentic Patent Leather Troy Burch Bag. I was very excited! I did verify with the seller if it was authentic and was told "yes, I bought it off poshmark and its be reposhed! " Well it took longer than expected to arrive but wasn't unacceptable for the price. I opened the box and was like wth! It was wrapped in a dirty faded coach dust bag, in the pocket was a small bag of childrens magnets, a stain on the lining, the threading on strap is coming loose on the front dots one side of T has the small stitch of leather on the other side missing, the back of the back had pruple nail polish on it, the top rim of the bag has a slight rip!, it gets better! After all the abuse this bag has had it is 100% Fake! Fake, Fake, Faker! It literally has random letters and numbers on snap making it fosure to be a " cheap fake "! I will never again use Poshmark! Unacceptable

I sold a Chanel bag for $1k on Poshmark and anything over $500 immediately goes to their "Concierge" service who then inspects the bag to insure authenticity and the description matches the listing. If the description is off in any way, it will be returned to the seller before the buyer even sees it. I shipped my bag to their concierge, they kept it for a week and then finally approved it. Yay! Deal complete right? NOPE. The buyer receives the bag and states "it's not as described and is damaged". So she opened a return request and POSH approved the return. My bag will not go back to concierge to insure it's in the same condition it left as, but it will come straight back to me, most likely damaged now, due to buyer's remorse. I have heard a lot of stories about buyers returning empty boxes in lieu of the actual bag, and POSHMARK does nothing about it, since it's your word against the buyer. I haven't received my item back yet, but pretty sure it will be damaged or an empty box. I've been with POSH since 2015 so it's very disappointing.

BEWARE OF POSHMARK POLICY ALLOWING SELLERS TO CANCEL PAID FOR ORDER! Last night I discovered much to my dismay a seller on Poshmark can cancel a completed paid for order "I changed my mind and don't want to sell this item". I have the order number. I got told my money would be refunded- gee thanks. If buyers can't return sellers shouldn't be allowed to cancel a completed paid for order. This cancellation policy is nowhere to be found on the website.
Needless to say I won't be shopping there anymore.

The absolute worst site ever; first they do not tell you that all sales are final regardless if the items fits or not; who does this? First time ever buying from them and the ABSOLUTE LAST! Plus, the amount of email that are consistently sent is ridiculous... NEVER NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM POSHMARK!

Purchased a pair of black sandals. Tried to wear the around my bedroom but the last is misshaped and the shoes cannot be worn. Now I am STUCK WITH THEM but cannot ever wear them. They REFUSE to return them. SHOP AT A REGULAR STORE where you can buy something and return it!

NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM!
NEVER RECEIVED REFUND
CONTACTED POSHMARK VIA PHONE AND EMAIL--RECEIVED ONE AUTOMATED RESPONSE (CANNED EMAIL)
SECOND RESPONSE WAS TO MAKE AN EXCUSE FOR THE SELLER
SUBSEQUENT EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS NEVER RESPONDED

**I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC BUREAU OF CONSUMER PROTECTION AGAINST POSHMARK--THEY CANNOT CONTINUE TO OPERATE IN THIS MANNER**

It is a rip-off site. They charge a lot for postage and lousy job when you file a claim for a purchased product that is not described properly, Stay away.

I see many complaints on here that people paid for an item, never received it and couldn't get their money back, seller blocked them and re-listed it, etc. A bad buying experience is avoidable. I can see that these people have not read the policies of Posh and its really very simple and bad situations are completely avoidable. I sell and buy a lot on Posh. I've had to dispute some of my purchases and if its done with Posh's 3 day policy, it was handled well. I received a return label and money was quickly refunded to me.
Now, as a buyer and an item has not shipped after 7 days, buyer has the option to cancel the transaction. I have had to do that too and the money was quickly released back to me.
As a seller, I had sold some items in my closet and due to a move last summer, I misplaced the items and could not ship them. I let my buyers know, offered an apology and I cancelled the sale. Money releases back to buyer quickly.

If you know their policy, it is not a headache at all folks. Its a great site to buy and sell.

Hope this helps someone. Oh, and customer service was very prompt in communicating with me and helped me through my experiences too.

I bought a Michael Kors handbag in February from seller Fashion 4 Less and its falling apart already. I was under the impression that it was a good brand but the bag is cheaply made.
