Be aware of false advertisement Poshmark allows. I bought pajama showing both top and pants on the picture and I only received the top. Poshmark is not helping me with this issue. They won't allow me to return it and get money back. I totally overpaid for a used piece of pajama top.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE! I GOT A BOGUS ANNE KLEIN COAT AND WHEN I GAVE THEM THE PHOTOS SHOWING THE ITEM DID NOT HAVE
AK KLEIN ON THE TAG - THEY STILL SAID IT WAS AUTHENTIC! REPORTED TO CONSUMER FRAUD!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought an outfit for a gift, sent directly to the recipient. The main pic was taken off a website. The description was a title. I assumed it was new since the main pic showcased a new item. I was on the phone when recipient received item and had a horrible asthma attack, due to odors. I wrote, hoping to "educate" the Seller going forward so it wouldn't happen to another buyer--the money wasn't important. However, Seller never gave any type of apology. I heard the recipient struggle to breathe after opening the package! I pointed out Seller had not followed several rules outlined on the site and told her my focus was on making sure someone did not become ill again because of her selling issues. I assumed She must be new to selling and hoped She could learn from this. She informed she's been selling for 3 years on Poshmark! So, she's been not following the rules for 3 years and apparently no one cares. I could have left her negative feedback, but new buyers (or any buyers) can't see feedback! She has no excuse for not knowing what she should and shouldn't be doing! It's been a few days and the promise by Poshmark to handle quickly has not materialized. I seriously doubt they will sanction Seller at all. This is ridiculous! This could have been life threatening! I'm worn out. I do hope to warn other potential buyers. Not happy at all.

I bought a shirt which described as 100% SILK but it is not even the label indicated it was 100% SILK. When I complain, they do not allow return and refund

Never buy the brand name item from them. They are all FAKE

Horrible customer service. Sellers do not respond to question about shipping. You take you chance on this site. Say a prayer before you use it!

I ask to do a return. Posh Mark, said no.

I ordered one item from Poshmark and was away when it arrived. When I got home and opened it, it had a very strong cigarette smoke odor. It was unwearable. I contacted the seller and she was amenable to accepting the item back. She suggested I go through Poshmark to make the return. After 2 weeks of back and forth with Poshmark they will not allow the return because I didn't follow there protocol becasue I wasn't home for the delivery. IF YOU TRAVEL DO NOT ORDER FROM POSHMARK. YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH WHATEVER YOU BUY. I'm out over $200!

I bought a MAC foundation from posh from a popular boutique *******@elizavesta that had excellent reviews, and was totally scammed. I received my package in the mail the same day I got another faulty item from this faulty site and was fooled by the nice packaging, nice letter, impressive business card, etc. By the time I opened the product itself after I noticed the pump wasn't working I got a 'perfumy' scent and gave it the benefit of the doubt by applying into my face and noticed that it was't even matte! I quickly let posh know and they never contacted me, I sent the company an email and they didn't contact me, thus sent them another notification with pictures comparing an authentic product bought from Sephora to the product I received showing the clear difference in tone, thickness of letters on the bottle, etc and have never been contacted for a refund! I looked through the packaging again and realized this lady sells all kinds of likely fake products in an actual store thus she probably composed the product herself and was driven to believe her line was just as good as MAC which is obviously untrue since I'm writing this review because I was ultimately highly displeased.

I made the mistake to purchase a pair of shoes through Poshmark, I have NEVER purchased anything online or in person in which you are NOT allowed to return. I saw a pair of shoes that looked in very good shape, nowhere in the sellers remarks did it state those shoes run small, i saw size 9, bought them and when they arrived they were a size and half smaller! I was not allowed to return them - Period! I paid $552 for a USED PAIR of Louboutin shoes that were NOT used once as the ad stated - DISGUSTING! The seller didn't have the decency to clean the inside of the shoes, WHO puts their nasty dirty feet inside shoes and then decides to sell them GROSS! I purchased a Brand New pair directly from Louboutin and paid $625 with FREE SHIPPING! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE, PEOPLE ARE DIRTY AND NASTY, POSHMARK DOESN'T CARE AND IN TODAY'S WORLD, WHO KNOWS WHAT DISGUSTING THINGS PEOPLE HAVE AND TRANSMIT IT THROUGH THIS SERVICE! I RATHER PAY THE EXTRA $50 OR $100 AND GET THE AUTHENTIC MERCHANDISE WHERE I KNOW IT WILL BE CLEAN AND NEW! First time user and sure as hell LAST TIME! NO THANK YOU! If i could rate this company lower I WOULD!

I am a posher since last 10 months with 4.9 rating, today had bad experience buyers are not always nice. One gal asked me brand new steve maddan shoes which was listed at $20 priced to go (used once are liated at $30-35) she asked for $13 i told her i can do $20 its already priced low she bought shoes, i packed it nicely and sent it off to her and she first complained that shoes are big they are not size 6.5, i told her different brand shoes fit differently on feet and they are indeed size 6.5 (i have all images) well i sent her brand new shoes and she opened a case that shoe has a stain and she wants to return those, since ahe opened case i sent all detailed pictures of shoes with sizing and all but still i received an email that shoes does have stain and they are closing case, really so i feel offeneded when i didnt do anything wrong, buyers can cheat you, i can buy a t-shirt on poshmark and put paint on it and say it was stained... people can be so mean. But every one has to pay their bad doings here itself, poshmark need to understand seller part as well because you guys are taking 20% off of our selling..

Just as you've read in other reviews, the seller lied about the item, and when you ask for a return, it gets denied! DO NOT buy from Poshmark!

I made a purchase on poshmark for a Versace skirt size 6. In Italian sizing this would be a size 42. The item I received was not the size that I ordered yet I am being charged for this item and I was told I am not allowed to return for a refund. The skirt I received is a size 4 and it clearly states that it is an Italian size 40 directly on the tag. I have photos of this.

Since my purchase was over $500, the item was first sent to poshmark to be reviewed in person, even then they did not see that it was the wrong size and still sent it to me!

Poshmark website says that you are able to return an item for a full refund if the item description was not correct. Yet, I am being told there is no problem with the item description when in fact there is!

I emailed poshmark and told them that the size chart the seller used to label the sale online was not correct and they told me they realized their size chart is incorrect and are working to fix it. (I have possession of this correspondence and would be happy to provide it)
So why am I being held responsible for their mistake? I did not receive the item that I purchased. I purchased a size US6/IT42 and I received a size US4/IT40!

If this mistake happened with a reputable resale service like Tradesy then I would have never been sent the item in the first place because they would have noticed the size labeling issue! And I can't believe that I am still being denied my return and refund after I have brought this problem to their attention multiple times already.

Tip for consumers:
They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I have been a user since 2013, but didn't become active until 2014. At first, I started as a seller and I made a few sales then progressed to buying from other Poshers.

The things that bothered me as a seller was that buyers do not pay enough attention to the description and leave awful rating and feedback stating that I did not describe product enough when I clearly disclosed the flaw(s). This is why you, as a seller, need to confirm that the buyer PAID ATTENTION before shipping out to avoid miscommunication. Another is when buyers take forever and a day to accept delivery, so you're scratching your head wondering when your earnings would be released.

Now as a buyer, yes, you have to take every pre-caution and READ the Love Notes and past sales to see how the sellers interact with their clients. You also want to be sure they're active and respond to potential buyers' concerns. I saw a lot of questions go unanswered from some sellers and you just want to AVOID the headache all together.

I have had both good and bad experiences. I will not waste my time to list the names of the people who sent me crap that I had to toss out but a few good ones are@jas*******,@kris8irl, *******@wendyhenley. If you are fortunate to order from them, then you are in good hands. I received my packages properly packed and shipped fast. Thank you ladies!

I've been using poshmark for a while as a seller (never have bought anything), and after realizing how easy it is for a customer to scam a seller, I'm done with them. I've given them a lot of business through selling multiple items and they refuse to help me. I sold a tee shirt that I got at a Beyonce concert that isn't for sale anymore for a generous $10 even though I've only worn it twice. I sent it out the very next day and they received it 2 days later. Then they reported there was a problem, so the funds were put on hold. I asked the buyer what the issue was and they said they weren't able to receive the package because I used the wrong packaging. Okay, that was my bad. But the solution told to them by poshmark AND the post office was to refuse the package. It would be sent back to me and then me and the buyer agreed I would repackage it and resend it to them. But they never sent it back. And the buyer will no longer respond to me on the matter, totally ignoring me. So obviously, they scammed me. They've kept their money and they probably have the shirt. I've messaged Poshmark multiple times over the course of 2 weeks about the issue and I've received NOTHING. Complete silence. They won't respond at all. So if it's this easy for a buyer to scam a seller out of the money and the item, I'd warn everyone to stay away from selling, and probably buying too. Go to a consignment shop to sell your stuff, this app isn't worth it. That shirt was purchased by me for $45. $#*!ing ridiculous.

I purchased a dress, Lilly Pulitzer. It was stated as worn in good condition. It was certainly not! I compared it to tge exact size and style I already owned and found ot was very stretched out. I wrote to the seller stating this. I said I wouks wash it on delicate to see if that fixed the problem. No word from seller.
I did this and I thought it resolved the ussue. So I went through with the purchase. The next day I put it on. You wouldn't think it was rhe same as my other Lilly dress! Fit was horrible. Very worn and stretched. So I looked into returning it. But no. I pressed buy and no recourse. So now I'm stuck with it.
Worse yet, the seller said I must not be familiar with the brand! Of which I have many things and have been buying direct for years. And because I washed it, the sale was done. I was up front and honest with Leslie Duryea, the seller, and all she did was berate me.
I complained directly to Poshmark customer service. They could and wouldn't do anything but give me $10 in my account for a future purchase.
Heck no! I'll not buy from Poshmark and certainly not this Leslie person again. I do not recommend either.

I wouldn't trust Poshmark.

I purchased Sabrinas Bruselas Suede Loafer in a 39 - US 8.5. They arrived crammed in a square box. Right shoe fit perfectly - the Left was wider that the other and gapped on the sides when on. I informed Poshmark that I wanted a return label and the reason why. Customer Service replied that I had to provide photos of the shoes, and detailed reasons why I wanted to return them within the 48 hour time frame. That was reasonable, so proceeded to photo the size but did not know how to add this plus other photos of the shoes in a file to be submitted. I am not good at this and had to ask for help. I also forgot to add the 23 digit order #. My fault! The time limit was reached and Linda at Customer Service said that I could have more time to submit the needed information. By then they also wanted me to measure the shoes! Did not specify where, so measured the OUTSIDE even theough the problem was the INSIDE of the shoe. Submitted that and then waited some more - a couple of days. Today, February 11, I received a rejection notice from Poshmark in the form letter saying that I did not provide all the required information, photos and that I went over my allotted time. So---I am stuck! BUYER BEWARE is perfect in this scenario with Poshmark. I will NEVER deal with them again and urge anyone who is so inclined, to read the reviews first. I don't know how to add photos, that is why I gave the name of the shoe. Purchase was through PAyPAl.

Tip for consumers:
Do NOT use Poshmark because they are impossible to deal with. Customer Service it is NOT. Did all that was asked for including photos and detailed information regarding the problem, but the return request was denied.

If I could give Poshmark no stars, I would have. They claim the customer experience is important to them, but it really isn't. I purchased an item from a seller who did not ship the product but claimed to. Poshmark has a shipping methodology that is fool-proof, yet this seller managed to screw up? Here's what happened. Seller CLAIMED THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED. Really? I don't think so. If the seller did in fact mail it USING THE MAILING LABEL, then the post office would have scanned the label and provided a tracking number! Right? We would all think so.

Long story short, I didn't get my item and seller got away with not shipping my item. Poshmark's solution was to PAY THE SELLER HER PROFIT, and merely refund me. Who made out here and what dishonest action is Poshmark enabling?

So to all the sellers out there who want to be PAID while KEEPING the item you claim you want to sell? Pretend to ship the item(s). You will be PAID your profit, while the buyer who really wanted your item, only gets a refund. NO APOLOGY whatsoever.

I will be looking out to see if this seller 'reposhes' this item. Believe me. I have copied this review so that it appears in every website I can post it in.

Purchase a Pic frame from a seller,($#*!ty package) Posh mark would not refund damaged shipment! THEY LIMIT THE TIME YOU CAN ASK FOR A REFUND BY JUST A FEW DAY.

Tip for consumers:
they only allow you a few days to ask for a refund. they only will give you a refund if you use the app or sign in to your account, so don't forget you account password or user name. i tried multiple times to get the service department to work with me on a refund, i summited pics and gave them the order number but they still wouldn't work with me, they kept telling me to log in or use the app. i finally remembered my user name and logge in to find that i had ran out of time to ask for a refund

I placed 3 orders. 2 items were knock offs from one person, the other was listed as a size 12, when it was a size 8, from another. Poshmark policy was that they provide you with a return label. Iˋd written NUMEROUS E-mails for return labels, with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. I did get my money back, because I called the credit card company, & they fought for me. I had made numerous purchases from them with only 2 shady sellers. I am stuck with the merchandise with no address to return them, because POSHMARK would NOT respond to my numerous E-mails, then, they blocked me. What was hilarious was when I called my credit card company about a dispute with an on line clothing company, before I could tell them the name of the company, the credit card representative said, POSHMARK?. I knew then, they obviously received MULTIPLE complaints. When I went on line to several sites, I could NOT believe the NUMEROUS complaints from MULTIPLE sites about POSHMARK. Personally, someone needs to start a class action lawsuit against them!

Tip for consumers:
DON´T purchase from POSHMARK. Go on line & read the NUMEROUS complaints!! It´s not just the buyers, it is also those selling the clothes through their company!!!! My mouth fell open when I read the NUMEROUS complaints. WAAAAAY too many to read all of them.

Beware of Poshmark. Customer support is horrible and they do not communcate at all with buyers. I will never purchase through Poshmark again.
