Terrible experience
August 23, 2025

I purchased an item from a seller. It smelled so bad from cigarette smoke that I can't even keep it in the house. Poshmark told me that they can't verify the smell, so I'm out the $55.00. All buyers beware, this is one shady outfit. I have contacted my CC company, and they are looking into it. I am sure after seeing all the reviews, I will get my money back. BUYER BEWARE!

I trusted a seller named Sharon Peachmoon on Poshmark. She sold me an item that was six times smaller than advertised and because it was mislabeled Poshmark would not refund me. This was a really bad business decision on their part. I deleted my account and will never do business with them again. They are liars and thieves, and should not be trusted.

I ordered over $300 from 1 seller in 4 different Live Posh shows. The first order came missing items, I messaged seller and she agreed to give me credit at next purchase. The next order came missing items, a new Nike shirt came stained and used but was supposed to be NWTags, bras I bought size 42 came fitting my teen daughter who wears a 36. I opened a case... in the meantime time, the other orders came... missing items, 2 new in box shower heads came crammed in one box, WITH NO ACTUAL SHOWER HEADS... just the hardware and the long cords for water flow. I opened another case. Meanwhile, bits and pieces of missing items came 2 weeks after purchase(with 3 day delivery... yea, right!), still not correct, I requested to return ALL ORDERS. Iwas livid at that point! Poshmark made me send pics, email after email, it was anightmare! They finally denied all my cases, even with photos of the items. THEY ARE OUT FOR THEMSELVES ONLY! They didnt want to accept my returns and lose their profit, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Im now fighting the charges with my bank TOTAL FRAUD! The more I look into Poshmark, the more Im finding THIS IS STANDARD BEHAVIOR FROM THEM! They allow sellers to sell junk and make them profit, they don't care about the buyers WHATSOEVER!

The listing says Zimmerman the items received were junk brands none of them Zimmermam. I as a purchaser will never buy from Poshmark again. Sellers deliberately mislabel their adds and Postmark supports the seller and you end up with junk to take to goodwill and out of your hard earned $. Postmark allows sellers to cheat customers and you can't warn others either because the seller blocks you as soon as they are called out and Postmark only allows positive reviews so you never know who will screw you next because all the sellers ratings are bull$#*!. Seller Tammyposh💝💝 u/ladybug5626
Is scamming people and has the support of Postmark. FYI

The worst agent in their platform is ZURI that's one horrible and pathetic person who makes mistake with my case so because he knew what he done they simply stope answering to my emails and they block my account LOL by the way I'm their ambassador lol… they are so pathetic and so rude that does not exist anywhere but that Zuri person he, she or them knew what he done and on top he treated me as stupid and unintelligent women so he or she simply decided not to proceed with what is fair even if I prove them everything they've asked for! Liers!

I purchased a pair of John Varvatos deck shoes *******@givemeabrewski. The shoes were nothing like what was shown (pics below).
I contacted Poshmark twice with no response. I will never recommend Poshmark to any one and will never do business with them again.

I have been a Poshmark customer since 2013, and yesterday, I had the worst experience. A seller intentionally misrepresented an item, listing it as large size. But when I received the item, it was a medium. I submitted a return request but Poshmark denied it saying I should have asked more questions. The size "large" was literally in the product title. What questions could I have asked to ensure the seller wasn't lying? "Hi, seller? Are you lying about the size stated in the product title?"

Sellers Going Broke
March 4, 2025

Beware of Poshmark's "My Promoted Closet" program. It costs money. A lot of money. You won't get what you paid for.

They show you numbers. They look good. They aren't. The return on investment breakdown is dishonest. They count your total sales before taking their 20% cut. That makes the profit seem higher. It isn't. Intentional misrepresentation.

We believed in it. We thought it would work. We waited. We paid. We watched. Nothing changed.

We ran tests to see our "Promoted Items". Friends searched for our listings. The results were the same. Our promoted items were nowhere to be seen. The "Other Items You May Like" banner was filled with other sellers' listings, but not ours.

Hundreds of dollars a month we were charged by Poshmark. And still, nothing. Participating under the "Promoted Closet" program, Posh ended up making more than half of every dollar we sold. This represents an unstainable business model based purely on unfettered abject greed.

After a number years on Poshmark we're done. We're now selling elsewhere.

Purchased a size 9.5 womans Adidas...recvd them only to find out they were a MANS 9.5. I immediately contacted the seller Who agreed there was a problem, we both alerted poshmark. I entered the hospital... But still trying to handle business. Poshmark ask me for a photo I sent them the one the Seller had listed... They asked me for a photo of the INSIDE of the shoe...I explained I was in the hospital... Ask them to contact the seller...and later that day they DENIED my return. So I am out $61. They simply do not care! NEVER AGAIN! This is NOT an isolated issue...you cannot even CALL them...the listed phone # doesnot work...Contacted BBB...Got the REAL phone #...they do NOT answer...they even TELL you that on the recording...AND the mailbox is full...WHAT TO DO? DON'T SHOP THERE!

They do false advertising and then they would not give you a refund of your money or a return option. They take forever to answer the requests and to solve the cases under review. Their costumer service is the worst! In conclusion, this company is not trustworthy at all, avoid them for God's sake!

I had an awful experience with Poshmark's so-called "buyer protection" and want to warn others before they waste their money.

I purchased a pair of jeans listed as 31x28, but what arrived was a 26-inch inseam with undisclosed tailoring that made them completely unwearable. When I reached out to the seller, they refused to take responsibility. So I did what Poshmark says to do—I submitted clear photos proving the item was misrepresented and requested a refund.

To my complete frustration, Poshmark denied my request, siding with the seller despite clear evidence that the listing was inaccurate. Their buyer protection is a joke—if a seller lies about an item, you're out of luck.

I've wasted time, money, and energy dealing with this. And now, I'm stuck with a product I can't use. I refuse to resell it and scam someone else the way I was scammed. Poshmark clearly prioritizes sellers over buyers.

If you're thinking of shopping on Poshmark, think twice—if something goes wrong, don't expect any help. I will never use this platform again and strongly advise others to avoid it.

Sent a transfer of $300 to Poshmark but the Revolut card( the only card Poshmark accept) only sent $295.92. Poshmark said that in order to begin the business the value should be $300. I offered to send on the top $4.08 more. Poshmark refused and demanded that I sent a second transfer of $305,00 I order to begin the business. I refused to sent it and u requested the refund of the transfer of 295.92 to my Revolut card. Poshmark refused to return my funds unless I make a second transfer if 305 to their account. Of course I refused. So the customer line sent me the following message. If you don't sent 395 more your won't receive your money back your stupid piece of $#*!. I'm reporting the case to the police, all over the web companies reviews sites and I'm going to small claims court to demand my money back. I requested Poshmark to shut down my page and cancel my sales, but they didn't take action: my page is still on line and I'm unable to delivery the orders because I refuse to do a second transfer to Poshmark account. So be aware when you do business with them! There is no customer service call center and they are not helpful. What happened with me is a virtual thef. They absconded my funds and are refusing to refund me even after I said that I don't want to make business with them. It's a scamvag company. Look for another reliable platforms like Shopify and never go to Poshmark, their customer service is trashy and they are not realizable when it comes to the transfer for funds.

I bought a jacket, for twice anywhere else, but ok. I put in my CC info, personal data, phone numbers, all of it. As soon as I bought it, my credit card said the charge was credited, went thru. 10 minutes after that, the charge was debited again. The CC company said it's a data mine, and I should replace my card, and check my credit to make sure they don't use what they stole.

Over pricing
January 13, 2025

I have noticed many, many items on Poshmark that if you watch prices and do your homework. Several dresses are priced at $100-$500.00 or more. The same exact dresses are on Temu for many times less that $20.00.

Buyer beware.
January 11, 2025

The worst experience ever. No returns, No exchanges. POSHMARK is just a trading post for people who are selling used items or gifts they just don't want, and for full retail value to boot. To add insult to injury the product purchased was damaged. I will never use this "service" nor even recommend it to my worst enemy. I received a pair of damaged Ugg boots and was basically told I'm $#*! out of luck but that they would be able to resell them for me as my only option for getting any satisfaction. Simply not acceptable.

What a waste of time.
January 1, 2025

I made my first purchase on Poshmark...a sweater that I already have, but getting a bit worn, was listed. I purchased it, paid, and sat and waited. A week and a half later, my order was canceled because the seller suddenly did not have the item. Seriously? Glad I got my money back, but I won't be buying anything here again. Total waste of time.

First of all, they lie in the advertising. They say they authenticate anything OVER $500. I paid $500 for a vase and ask them NOT to authenticate it as I knew it was not fake (I am a pottery collector of over 30 years and know what I am buying). And $500 is NOT OVER $500. It is equal to $500. I informed them that the gold paint on the vase was "cold paint" and was very fragile and rubs off easily. They vase went automatically to them from the seller and they then sent it to me unbelievably poorly packed. It was rolling around in a box with bubble wrap which was not secured to the vase. As a result, the gold rubbed off in several places, reducing the value by at least 50%. I am sure the clueless authenticator knew nothing about what he or she was doing. Will NEVER buy there again.
