Qlink is bad

Q link is and bad service and liers they was post to send me an new phone and a new tablet but i never got it. It been months they lie what are they waiting for? The program to be over with so they don't have to send it there phone break easy an they are on investigation when i can i am. shuting my service down

The service is good, the particular phone I have is difficult to use and often will not wake up. I use it once a week to call someone as well as have someone call me. It is very slow to respond although I keep it charged. I probably need to upgrade to a better PHONE but that would ruin the whole idea of FREE life line service. It IS just for emergency anyway. But I always appreciate the QLinkWireless service for providing this phone at all! THANK YOU~

QLink has been really good. The service is pretty good. The only issue I really have is that my hotspot doesn't work when I try to use it and I'm not out data. I can't ever get it to work and I will have 5 gigs of data. It doesn't make sense but other than that, I'm happy with my service with A Link.

If I didn't HAVE to give a star, I would have given negative stars to this company; a higher degree of negative with each review. As stated in my last review of this business, they claimed it was the electrical in my building that was causing my problems with service. As of this review, that lie was fully debunked with a call from Potomac Edison. There's NOTHING in my home or the surrounding area that would cause enough interference to interrupt or affect cell phone service. So, as I have continued to state, qlink wireless has been lying at every turn, instead of simply taking responsibility for what is wrong. Have NO idea what wool they're trying to pull over anyone's eyes, but they're sorely mistaken to try it with me. Change is to come.

Again, I wouldn't give them a single star if I weren't forced to by the site. Another bad time with them. The Motorola G7 Play refuses to stop crashing the google search bar. I've spoken with Motorola, their way of fixing it is to have me send it to them and probably end up with a reconditioned phone instead of a factory phone. QLink now refuses to take the phone back, knowing it had this flaw. I would not recommend anyone use QLink, unless you like the daily frustration of your phone having the same problem. As well, their supposed 5G upgrade isn't fully rolled out as they claim, so if you're in an area with already questionable reception and you have this company, get ready for it to be as bad if not worse.

My Qlink Experience

I have been on a fixed income for quite a few years now and I would not have a phone had it not been for Qlink. I have had great customer service, free from phone problems and an easy upgrade experience.

I've been with qlink for a few years and had some issues but with the kindness and helpfulness of the service technician and the help with customer service the issues got resolved in a promptly manner. The tablet on the other hand is trash.

Complete Scam
October 11, 2018

Along with everyone else here, my phone does not, and has not ever worked. Also full memory because of the apps and ads they make me have on the phone, so I cannot receive messages and the system does not operate due to full memory. Just called them and they claim that since I was able to use the phone 41 minutes one month(out of the 1000 minutes i get) and use 100mb of data(ads or something because i have never used the internet or any type of data, it simply doesnt work) that that is proof that the phone works fine, even tho their troubleshooting clearly proved the phone does not work. When i asked to speak to a supervisor the guy put me on hold, same guy came back on and gave me a different name. I was irate, and asked to speak to someone else so i could file a complaint he told me there was no one else and hung up on me. Unbelievable.

Customer service and they supervisor need more training and knowledge. They also need to understand what Customer service means. They also will find any reason to not help you. Just because it's a free service doesn't mean people should be treated any different. And then said the line was disconnected and non eligible for the service which was a lie! Safe link is the wayto go get away from Qlink they SUCK!

For a high level management that an take care of the issue. Please contact me at my qlink number. I was on the phone with one of your representatives. I told them my issue. I have previously called about it before. It is not resolved. Your representative choose to stop talking to me completely. I was not cussing them out or being Rude directly at them. I am an upset customer. This situation that I have been placed in is not right. I do look for some sort of repremandation not necessarily a fire but definitely some kind of coaching. Especially because I asked for a manager and the associate still continue to remain quiet and not get me to a manager.

Qlink wireless will never contact you. Will never send you a phone. Try to force you to buy a replacement phone. Cooling wires will never give you a phone. This is a government program. Where everyone is entitled to a free government phone. And a
Free replacement phone if your phone is lost damaged or stolen.

Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. Trying to get my phone turned off cuz I lost it I don't have the money to replace it and I can't get through to anybody I was on hold for 21 minutes just so you can hear static like they couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. I think this is a big rip off and I think they still the money from the government. All I want to do is turn my phone off so nobody else can use it haha what a joke can't even get through to anybody bunch of crooks.

Worst customer support ever! You cant ever reach anyone on the phone and if you do reach someone they never can do anything about anything! It yakes 3 weeks to ship a dam sim card! Rhats ridiculous! This has to be the only company to make people not want something free! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Did i mention that they are Horrible?!

Cellular reception is like living in the mid-90's. Data is even worse. Yesterdays spores test was 0.98. Yes that's not a typo. Try to contact them, good luck.

Qlink Fraud

Q link has left me without my phone number that I have had for over twenty years. I wanted to transfer to Straighttalk and they said they could not give Straighttalk my number, because Qlink shut my service off, therefore I lost my number. This is nothing but fraud! I have no proof of purchase, because I was on ACP Cell Phone Program.

Yes, it's a free phone - but after less than 2 weeks, I've canceled. I was promised tracking when the SIM card shipped - didn't get it. I was promised answers when I emailed - didn't get them. I called, emailed, and used live chat to try to resolve issues. I wasn't able to receive calls, but everything else was fine. Techs kept insisting that I had forwarding on, and I didn't. After the third try to get an agent to UNDERSTAND my concern, I gave up. Called and asked to cancel - and another agent rambled for nearly an hour how she could "correct the issue." She completely ignored my repeated requests to just cancel the service. HORRIBLE. Don't bother. Yes it's free, but it's NOT worth it. Since I couldn't receive calls, I lost out on two job opportunities. I don't appreciate it - not that I expect this bottom-feeding company to care. Don't do it!

At first they helped me when I was down and out, it was nice to have a phone, than it got stolen and I couldn't afford to get a replacement so my account went dead, ever since then I tried getting service with a compatible phone, i got no response of any kind and since the coronavirus $#*! ive been sick as a dog. I ask everyone is that anyway to treat a army veteran and someone who worked 2 jobs for 30 some years paying taxes when he needs a hand. Anyone interested in switching to qlink please read this comment and take hed to my warning. There customer service is absolutely useless they dont no how to answer the simpelest of questions and thatd if you call or use the chat. Good luck getting a phone in the next 4 to 5 months. Absolute lies. They promise a free phone, tablet, and sim card. Have yet to recieve anything. I understand this service isn free however, even if you choose too pay for an upgrade you dont recieve it. I truly think this company is a Scam. Choose any other life line services trust me.
