I was approved because I was on disability but then my phone was stolen! Now I don't qualify even though not one dam thing changed other than my phone getting stollen! So I went with the same information being qualified to not qualified and it is the same freaking information! NOTHING CHANGED OTHER THAN A JERK STOLE MY PHONE! I SENT IN THE SAME INFORMATION THAT I SENT IN BEFORE ALL THE SAME INFORMATION! THE EXACT SAME INFORMATION NOTHING DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE! That's what I get for trusting a group! I get lied too

I activated it. It worked for a few hours then it didn't work anymore. They sent me an email asking why I never activated it. It didn't work after that.

I used the lifeline program for the first year and had no complaints until I upgraded (through qlink) to a better phone. They turned off my existing phone immediately and activated the new one before they shipped it to me. Their support said they can not help because this is just the way they do it. I was without a phone for over a week. After I had the new phone it worked for about a week then they removed my minutes because their billing system had a glitch. They added back the minutes, then the next day they were gone again. They said I had to re-sign up for the service, which I had just done 2 months prior. The account was active again but the phone still redirected my calls to support. 2 calls to support, and one was a supervisor. They both told me I had to wait "several days" "a few days" and "sometime" before my phone would work. Both support people (including supervisor) hung up on me. I used their online chat and they both disconnected from chat because they could not get my phone working either.

Works most the time, sometimes it refuses to text or make calls yet I can text it and I can call it and it works. So it's on and off. But still it's free.

Absolute Shtshow

I am into one week of trying to get a phone activated. Customer service is awful, a group of children, scripted, with no ability to listen to a question and answer. Slave labor. I have had to call seven times this week & have gotten seven different answers - your phone is incompatible... sim card incompatible... your area has no service... wipe off sim card... your phone is locked... you need to open the app... each call at least a half hour. Such bad lines that it makes it hard to hear the rep, equally bad as they are all Asian with English as a second language so it makes it seem racist to have to keep asking them to repeat themselves. Very frustrating. Finally the last call told me i needed to upload info to get phone activated. Great! Now try to upload... first try to find the path to get you there... then go in a circle on the site, & not be able to complete.

There is nothing to do with a service like this except make a game of it. Try & guess the name your customer rep will use. I had a 'Miller' & laughed & complimented him on his choice & got hung up on. Another half hour wait time as punishment.

I am glad I have the time & can work while being on hold. Sympathy for the workers as the company has not educated them for the job. It is not their fault but it is hard not to fault the messengers of the company.

Just because it's offering a free service shouldn't mean the process is this hard. From this experience the company does not respect it's customers. No matter how 'happy' they are to serve you - only because it's written in front of them & they are forced to say these meaningless words.

Theres no way I would choose any other provider! And I happily recommend them to anyone that uses any other provider. The service is excellent & so is the customer service.

The worst

Please do yourself a favor and pass these clowns by when choosing a provider.
I realize that it is not uncommon for " unlimited" plans to have limits. If that be the case it is in the consumers interest that at least an asterisk be placed next to unlimited in the advertising from service providers detailing the limits of service. That's good faith in advertising. I've read all of qlinks terms and nowhere but nowhere do they give any explanation of limits or what to expect when limits are reached. By advertising " unlimited data" without even a clue as to what point you have reached their threshold or come close to it is intentional deception and demonstrative of bad faith.
With no warning or courtesy to the consumer who has blindly entered into a plan not aware of what they are getting because of deception... qlink shows who they are. They don't throttle you down to 2g, they cut your data off!
As if thats not enough... good luck getting help. I called and only was offered automated service. I emailed but no response now for nearly 2 days. I went to the qlink website to check my service status... again deception. It showed my data was unlimited. No mention at all that it had been cut off!
I don't know how this excuse for a service provider is in business. I do not expect they will be for long. What a bad experience I have had with them! Do yourself a favor... pass on them when shopping around.

ZERO stars...

I've been with qlink a few years. Everything was ok until this "upgrade"
Sent me a new sim card. After wasting 15 hours on this (10 hours of it on hold) they sent me another sim card... waisted more hours on hold and it still didn't work. And now my old sim card doesn't work so I have not phone. So after wasting 24 hours of my time I finally figure out that the 369 dollar phone that qlink just sold me 6 months ago is locked to sprint and NOT compatible with their new system. (WTF) so I'm forced to buy a new phone... new phone arrives with sim card #3, surprise surprise surprise. This doesn't work either waste even more time talking to more techs who don't have a clue. Every time you call you have to go through this gauntlet menu answering the same questions over and over imei #? Sim card # etc etc (this is after a two hour wait) only to have someone spend two minutes and then transfer you to "your expected wait time is 281 minutes" and then after 4 hours it hangs up on you. There's an option to have them call you back? But I've been waiting 5 days for that. I haven't had the use of my cell phone for 20 days now

I placed an order with these guys and the deal was suppose to be a cell phone and free tablet. Well it wasn't free as they charged me $10.00 for the tablet and another $20 for whatever? Received the items within a few days and straight out of the box, the tablet was useless. The screen was non-responsive so I contacted them. We tried factory reset and still nothing, so they said return it. They said watch my email for a return shipping label and after several try's, nothing. The phone took the first charge and once I powered it up and before I could even get it setup, it was hot (not hot pepper) like fire hot. Second attempt to charge the phone resulted in a non-responsive phone that would not take or hold a charge. Hours of my life that I will never get back were spent trying to get a refund and a return shipping label for the junk they sent me. Guess what? Those hours resulted in me having to contact my bank and file a complaint for fraud since they wouldn't return my money. They said I could pay for the return shipping to Israel, really? Do you know how much that would cost me? I'm poor, on food stamps, poverty up to my nose and they want me to spring for the shipping? They take advantage of the poor and elderly and it's a shame that the FBI raid didn't end with Qlink going out of business. They need not deal with government contracts, certainly not worthy. Read the reviews, they are crooks, plain and simple.

(Absolutely Horrible)

I contacted qlink to change my service back to them n submited my proof n was contacted by qlink that i was eligible to come back i just had to cancel my survice w the other company so i did n they shut my phone off the same day then i get an email from qlink again saying i was eligible for service but couldnt get a phone that i was ineligible but didnt say that when they told me i was eligible for service in the first email, if i cant get a phone how am i going to use the service ( you idiots), now i dont have a phone n my ( Father currently is in Icu in intensive care unit n i have active cancer) whats is wrong with these people ive contacted them to no avail, i couldnt believe it really this is really what i need is to deal with this incompetents n a heartless company! I will not recomend this company service to anyone its not a one its a Zero in my book of Ratings! Thanks alot qlink for great service you bleep bleep bleeps!

This is by far the BEST SERVICE that I have EVER had, and I have had Verizon, T-Mobile, Altel, Boost, US Cellular-- just about ANY service provider that you can think of, and NONE of them have had the excellent service like Q-LINK Wireless does!

I purchased a phone from qlink and they said it would take 5-7 days to receive my phone, 24 hours later they shut my phone off so I called them and the guy told me that they shut my phone off cause the other one is activated. I told him I didn't receive the phone yet and he told me that's policy, be patient and that my phone will be shut off and i will be without a phone for 5 to 7 days. So if I I have 5 to 7 days without a phone and I have an emergency what do I do? This is suppose to be a lifeline service and I purchase a phone and what do they do? They deactivated my phone until I receive my other one. Total inconvenience and this lifeline service needs shut down that's wrong to have a customer without a phone for a week because he bought one off of them. And the phones they give you don't even function right. As I've been through three off them I can make that statement. This is suppose to be a lifeline service and you can't even understand anyone that works on the customer service line. They are all broken English and the phones lag when you try to call taking 2 minutes at times. I have videos of the way these phones work.

Received the tablet I paid for and it runs so slow, I couldn't get my email programmed in it and it was on very good WiFi. Never again. The thing went in the trash. Didn't even get to TRY to use it.
