This was our first time flying with this airline. We booked our flight with Ryanair because they had great flight prices. UNTIL we get to the airport and I try to explain how the system wouldn't let me check in and I tried several times. There was a family next to me that had the same Issue as we did. They said since I didn't check in i have to pay 55 dollars per person. And also 20 dollars per carry on. They do this tattic/scam to sneak a way to rip their costumers off. Even the flight check in people were so rude. We will never fly with Ryan air again!
If it is possible avoid this company as much as you can! Very dirty business practice. Even when you are checking your tickects and you find the right one in check out suddenly price sometimes changes to much higher number!
It feels like Ryanair is tracking your activitys on threir web page and they will rise up ticket price in the dates that you was tryn to book your tickets
First of all, if you only have 2 small carry on bags, then it's a deal. OTHERWISE, DON'T DO IT!
Bargain airline built on taking advantage of the unknowing. Besides selling selling selling (colognes, lottery tix, etc...) their business plan is to "help folks learn the hard way." Your checked in luggage comes at a High price, sometimes even more than the actual flight! Unless you have no choice to fly this airline, please note: Everyone in Spain HATES THEM! Now, the people are nice, but they are a RIP OFF!
"Low fares. Made simple"? The second part of their slogan is highly misleading and must change.
We purchased multiple tickets from Ryanair because we were traveling all over Europe. Little did we know that it would cause us a problem with checking-in online. The system didn't recognize my account and sent me an authorization code to verify my identity, but the code DID NOT work. After making several attempts, we had to get to the airport early to check in. Alas, we were a few minutes late for their curfew for checking-in for free at the airport, so we were charged 35 euros each. The airport staff said nonchalantly, "If you want to fly today, pay 35 euros each. If not, just find yourself another flight. (hahaha)" We explained our situation but to no avail. She just repeated herself without batting an eye.
I wrote to the customer service and made my complaint FOUR times over the last two months, but absolutely no reply. I get on chat on Ryanair website, but they always tell me to wait a bit longer, wait a few more days, etc. Wait HOW MUCH longer? No sympathy at all. Not even any reaction. I might as well talk to a robot. Is this how we're treated for buying several tickets with Ryanair?
My account is still blocked from checking-in online. It's ironic because thanks to Ryanair's no-response policy and so-simple check-in process, we doubt that we'll be able to fly with Ryanair until this problem is resolved.
This is my tenth flight with Ryanair this year - and eight of the 10 flights had delays - usually between one and two hours, but we had more than three hours too!
There is basically no way anymore that you can convincingly plan longer trips with them, for example a train journey after arrival, because you never know when you arrive. Today, we are loosing another train ticket that we bought ages ago in advance, when we still believed that some delays are exceptions to the rule, rather than the new rule. Even back then, we already calculated with a one and a half hour Ryanair delay, but that is just not good enough for that "never on time airline".
To make things worse, according to EU law, they only have to pay compensation from a three hour delay, i.e. Most delays go without any sanction, meaning a contribution from Ryanair for the additional expenses their customer have to pay. Long live neoliberalism?
Add to that the non-existing Ryanair customer-sevice, which leaves you in the dark about new departure time, gate changes etc, and you have the worst package you can possibly buy.
What can we customers do about it? At first, let us please stop buying drinks, food and other items on flights that come with more than half an hour delay. We should not reward such an airline for what they do to us. And then better check always the prices of competitors: Eurowings, EasyJet, Vuelin, Wizzair, anything that stays within a reasonable price for the package might be worth considering.
Disappointed does not even begin to describe how Ryanair has handled my query. I have tried contacting Ryanair via chat and phone since mid last year to change a flight which I was unable to do whilst logged in. Each time I called another incompetent advisor gave me a different or textbook answer for the reason for my issue.
Today I contacted them and again I was advised by another clueless and rude agent that my issue was being escalated but he just passed me over to his female colleague who tried to be helpful and apparently escalated my issue to her manager but I am still yet to hear from anyone that can help me. I WILL NEVER BOOK ANOTHER FLIGHT WITH RYANAIR! Sometimes it is just better to pay extra for quality all around. Don't book with them.
This is the worst airline ever! Their crew and customer service are rude and arrogant!
We were going back to the United States from Sofia, Bulgaria with a transfer in London and Oslo, Norway. Our airline was Ryanair for both London and Oslo flights. Ryanair boarded us on the flight to London with no issues. When we got at the London airport, we were told that we can't continue our journey because my daughter's passport was going to expire in a month! Please pay attention: My daughter's passport was still valid, and we were coming home. Ryanair didn't let us board the flight to Oslo and we missed our flight to the States. The customer service was of no help and didn't care at all. They were arrogant and rude. We spoke to multiple people with no result. It was in the middle of the night and not many places that we could look for help. They kept repeating that we can't continue because my kid's passport was going to expire next month. My kids are 8 and 10 years old and we were left in a country that we know nothing about! We were so desperate, and my kids were very scared and stressed out. They kept crying and asking me when we can go home. We had to go and purchase a direct flight ticket from London to US with another airline which cost for 3 tickets over $8000 having in mind we had valid tickets already and a valid passport.
It was the first time using the airline in my life and I will never use it again! They are not worth at all.
THIS IS THE WORST AIRLINE EVER! They made us pay an extra 255 euros because their online check in was not working. We tried several times but it didn't work because of their garbage website. The landing was terrible, if there was a little more friction there would have probably been a fire. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RYANAIR NEVER EVER TAKE THIS AIRLINE!
One of the worst airlines you can find. The customer service people are very very rude and they just need an excuse to charge you extra. Horrible airline. Don't travel with them.
The last time I am ever going to fly with them.
When arriving at the airport for check in, there was only one member of staff on the relevant desks and so a lengthy wait was needed before we got to speak to them. By the time we did speak with them, she informed us that we had just missed the check in period and each ticket was now to be charged £55 in order to check in. The total of £110 was as expensive as the actual flight tickets, if not more. The late check in was primarily due to the understaffing at the Ryanair counter at Stansted and not to any poor time keeping or organisation on our part.
After reluctantly paying this extortionate fee (what other choice did we have...?!), we then proceeded through security and on to our gate. Once we boarded the plane however, there was than a 1 hr 45 min delay to our flight where we sat on the tarmac and waited. Having been charged £110 just moment earlier for being late and then being delayed for almost 2 hours really angered me. The late check in fee was entirely unnecessary and immensely overpriced in the first place, but what with our flight being delayed, it then also proved to be completely redundant. It seems that I was deemed late and charged, but they can be four or five times as late as I was deemed to be and get away with it...
Answer: Gli addetti allo scarico, appena l'aereo atterra all'aeroporto di destinazione. Se il bagaglio lo hai imbarcato devi provvedere tu a scaricarlo.
