I bought a Samsung refrigerator 9 years ago. Shortly after purchase, we experienced water overflowing from the condenser fins into the crisper bins, freezing and ruining the food. I googled the problem online and tried to fix it, but it appears there is no fix and it is a Samsuck design flaw. That is the first problem.

Periodically, I defrosted the fridge to clear out the condenser and things are good for a while. My wife complained again and I said I was going to bring in a repairman and fix it or buy a new fridge. I called several repairman who heard my problem and it was a Samsung and they would not come to fix it. Ugh. So, I engaged Samsung to come out and fix it. Through an online chat box, I scheduled a repair visit. On the day, no one showed, so I contacted Samsung again. I went through voice prompt hell and kept getting transferred from one group to another. After an hour, I finally got hold of someone on a chat box that told me they could not repair my fridge, so they cancelled my appointment (without telling me) and they had put in a new ticket to consider providing me a replacement fridge. Sweet! 6 hours later, they called me to say my fridge was too old for them to replace and that I was not going to get a replacement. Duh, you knew how old it was because I registered it online for warranty purposes.

Admittedly, I was skeptical when the rep told me I might be getting a new fridge. But the way they handled the whole repair / replacement process was exceedingly poor and frustrating. I am now in process of replacing this fridge with a Maytag which, by the way, was the fridge we had before and that lasted 22 years. Good bye Samsuck forever.

Samsung is a SCAM AND FRAUD-

Horrible!
You're the most UNPROFESSIONAL company ever!
I understand delays and back orders but after a month and with no UPDATES. Calling into your call Center extremely difficult to get ahold of any competent person, refusal to put the consumer in touch with floor supervisor when requested! When I finally can get ahold of e-commerce department they give the repeated answer of ship week of December 30th and today is the last day of that week, I'm RECIEVING no UPDATES I email to CONFIRM shipping today Friday January 4th and ONLY then get advised it's Still BACKORDERED, not in stock.
You ran a sale, but then month in half later still can't fill orders yet you charged customers accounts but you can fill new orders at FULL Price for the same item before orders placed in November.
Terrible Customer Service and response to replies but funny when I CANCELLED this order which you can now resale at Full Price you're Jonny on the spot to reply a confirmation of my cancellation.
May Karma prove true and such Service and conduct befalls each and everyone of you and Samsung as a whole.
You better get my monies refunded to PayPal immediately I will be contacting them with negative feedback on your PRACTICES as well as few other avenues, ie. Better Business and Reviews!

Never Buying Here Again
September 15, 2017

This is the worst company that i have ever dealt with, and i work in returns/customer service everyday for my job. First, I purchased a tv a little over a year, and something happened inside of the tv to where i know it's defective. I was told to submit everything to this email, which i did and providing a detailed description of what happened and took picture images, which i had no follow. So then, giving Samsung the benefit of the doubt, i live chatted a customer service representative, which at least a human was there to talk to me. He informed me that the ticket had been cancelled and i wasn't even aware of it. I didn't receive a phone call, voicemail or email. He then gave me a directive to resubmit everything again to this same email. He said that I would be notified within 24 hours, no response once again, so i live chatted another customer service representative today, and he said we can't really do anything because of the policy. I do understand the policy, but as the head of returns at a company, i deal with customers everyday that are just a few months out of the policy. I work with 400-500 vendors and i try to get an RGA for that customer no matter what, because i understand things just happen and more than likely the manufacturer will work with you. How is it that this a 174 billion dollar company won't help a customer, and i have had no follow up? Literally, radio silence. I am absolutely baffled and will NEVER EVER purchase from Samsung again. There are so many other competitors that i can purchase from. I've actually had excellent customer service with Sony, so I will be doing business with them moving forward. I will be sure to advise anyone looking to purchase tvs, appliances and phones, to go with another company.

New Model 43" Samsung Crystal
February 21, 2021

I purchased a new model 43 crystal led for my son for Christmas as like many we couldn't source the ps5 he wanted. After 2 weeks I decided to wipe down the tv as per the instructions with a new soft dry micofibre cloth. As soon as I did this parts of the coating came away from the screen leaving a mottled appearance and viewable when the unit is on or off. I contacted Samsung multiple times and they tried telling me bt online had supplied me a used unit and to contact them. I did, and as expected they assured me this was a brand new model that had only just come out and they don't send out used units anyway. I again contacted Samsung multiple times and got no where. I researched online to see if anyone else had had any issues with this model and sure enough they had. Poor screen coating was mentioned and manufacturing process issues used. I put this to Samsung and eventually got a call from one of the managers. However he refused to accept there could be a manufaturing issue resulting in poor screen coatings. They put it down as cosmetic damage caused by the user. Unbelievable, I have a lot of high end equipment and always follow the cleaning instructions to the letter. Thankfully I have never purchased any high end samsung products and will just bin their inferior faulty product and purchase from a reputable company with a decent customer service. LG, Pioneer, Sony, Marantz and phillips are excellent BTW. I wish I'd read the Samsung reviews before making my purchase as I'm usually cautious and research potential purchases.
The poor ratings speak for themselves and I'm glad it was only a £350ish purchase. Seriously stay away from Samsung...

I have a Samsung front load washer that smells moldy. I have tried to resolve the issue but haven't had any luck doing so on my own, so I'm reaching out to warn others.
I bought the washer at HH Gregg and I purchased their premium service plan warranty. HH Gregg has a phase on the front of their brochure that states "Enhanced coverage that goes above and beyond the manufacturer's limited warranty." Which I believe leaves me to say that I am battling Samsung and HH Gregg. Samsung has recalled several other models for this reason, but not the one that I currently own. I was so excited to own a front load washer and enjoyed it at first then the washer started to have an odor.
I make sure that I keep it clean, leave the door open, and it is only my husband and I that I use the washer for. These actions are things that you wouldn't even need to do with a normal top load washer. The odor transfers to the clothes which makes it hard to have clean smelling clothing. Samsung states that the problem is with HH Gregg's warranty plan and HH Gregg keeps finding loopholes to get out of doing anything.
I have completed all suggestions from both companies like, running bleach, Tang, and the cleaners that they sell through the wash cycles. I have replace the hose on the back of the washer that HH Gregg says is not covered under their plan. Cycles don't run correctly yet the repairman that HH Gregg sent says he cannot find anything wrong mechanically. After two years of battling this issue, I feel that I am running in circles.
I believe that Samsung is washing their stinky hands of the issue and HH Gregg is being slight handed about their warranty. My suggestion is not to buy either from either company.

Stay AWAY
May 26, 2022

I have been a long term Samsung Customer and have bought many many items over the years and have used the Samsung Galaxy since it was first released. I had ordered a new device via your UK division as i was in London (from London) as i always use a Dual SIM device. To say the process was painful is an understatement, i have been lied to, my data has been misused under Data Privacy Law, i have been defrauded by Samsung UK who have not refunded me my money that i paid upfront. The Samsunk UK customer service experience is an absolute disgrace, nobody cares, 8 different people have sent unintelligible replies and the chat helpline is full of educationally deprived people who do not even understand your own product! After so many years supporting your Comoany and products i am now forced to enter a leagl class action for Fraud, Misrepresentation, Data Privacy breaches under GDPR and likely more. All because nobody wants to resolve the most basic of issues. I respectfully write this as someone who also runs a very big service business and would fire every person responsible for totally demonsing your Brand!

I. Recently sent my Samsung Galaxy flip 3 5G and for a screen replacement due to dead pixels developing where the fold is in the screen. I confirmed and also Samsung repair service confirmed that my phone was still under warranty until October 1st 2022. My phone was just fine and my phone was in great shape and it was one of my favorite phones until I spoke to the Samsung of Texas repair. Samsung of Texas sent me an email with a bill of $399.44 and said the reason why is due to power power no power upgrade ( I don't know what that means) so I spoke to Samsung's support team which transferred me to Samsung repair center of Texas and the representative that I spoke to tried to correct me about my phone being damaged and then I had to explain it to her again and she didn't even know why I was calling and also she thought I was calling for Samsung fold phone. She got my total phone wrong and after the third time of me explaining this issue she finally listened and didn't try to correct me. She didn't know why my phone was sent for repair and she said the only note she had from the technician was the phone had a few scratches and there's damage to the screen. I tried to ask her where the scratches and what damage to the screen because I only know about the spot with dead pixels, and she replied with I don't know That's what the technician put in the notes. Their support team was no help their technician team I believe is not truthful because that phone was not damaged by any falls not damaged by water damage and the only thing the matter with that phone was dead pixels from Samsung's folding screen. This would be the last product I purchased from Samsung if I can help it, it's definitely the last cell phone I purchased from them because this is the worst service I've received from such a large company. I will never recommend their services and I'll never recommend their products this was a terrible experience

I got a Samsung TV on Black Friday for Christmas called customer service while it was still within the 30 days to return the TV they told me they would send me a software update on a USB called 3 times every time they told me it had been shipped after my 30 days was up to return the TV about 2 months later they finally told me it was never sent there was no software upgrade called again today they told me I was sent an upgrade I told them they were incorrect and there was no upgrade. They told me the TV was still under warranty possibly they could come up with a solution or have a tech come to my house and asked for my phone number and told me someone would call me back, I told them so far with my experience with Samsung my guess would be no one would call me back today. They guaranteed me someone would call me back today and I never heard from them. I have a Panasonic TV in my living room when I originally got it I debated between Panasonic and Samsung my Panasonic is a 720p plasma best TV I've ever owned and definitely better customer service I will never buy a Samsung again in fact if I don't get my issues fixed I will toss it in the garbage and buy a Panasonic. I had an insignia for 20 years and the picture was better than my brand new Samsung 1080p and definitely better customer service. I bought this TV thinking it would be awesome for sports but when people are in motion the picture is blurry. And my HD tube had a more clear picture than this does

Beware of Samsung!
November 19, 2020

November 14,2020
Bought the Samsung UN65KS9000 tv back in 2016
Unless you have an extended warranty Do NOT BOTHER buying any Samsung TV or any of their products.
Early on I have had light bleeding on the bottom of the screen.
Before the warranty ran out, one year, the screen was replaced twice after numerous discussions with the Samsung hierarchy. The
People on the Samsung trouble line phone number are polite and want to solve problems but once if goes to the Samsung hierarchy they want to blame it on the consumer.
After the warranty ran out the 2nd panel replacement had the same problem.
After various phone calls and a letter to Samsung corporate to replace the tv rather than replace the panel they decided to replace the panel.
About a year ago I started having the same problem.
I had the same tv repair company with the same repair person look at the tv.It cost me $65 to come and look at the tv. The repair person told me that it would cost me $1400 to replace the panel. The repair estimate went to Samsung and I never heard back from them.
I decided to live with the problem
But recently, after 4 years, I sent Samsung a corporate email about my problem for one last try. Someone from corporate called me to explain my problem.
After explaining and mentioning that this problem was all over the internet for this particular model the representative told me that the tv was too old and that Nothing could be done.
I told her to look online at all the complaints and to look at my past incidents. Again she told me again that nothing could be done!
Because of my frustration with Samsung I decided to write this review.

Samsung buyer beware
September 5, 2020

Ok to start i purchased a samsung A70 which i regret more then anything on December 29th 2019.
I had the phone 3 months and it over heated on me a few times (to the point where the phone was to hot to even touch)
I sent my phone to samsung to be repaired and it took a month before I got it back.
After having used the phone for a month i realized that not only did the overheating still occur but now it has connectivity issues. So once again I sent the phone in for reposar and at this point it was the end of May.
Samsung did not reply to me and some third party company sent me an email stating that there is no issue with my phone but that they will up grade it to a samsung S10.

Sounds great right!
Wrong!

All they want was for me to reply to the text saying yes and what I really would of received was a refurbished samsung S10E.

Why is this a problem?

Well my phone clearly had issues and they deemed it to be in full working order. What makes them think that i trust their refurbished phone.

I then contacted samsung and have many emails stating that they are clearly offering a "New Samsung S10" but once again I have been lied to as that was not what they were sending me.

It is now September 5th and I haven't seen my phone since the end of May.
(I have owned the phone for 8 months yet is only been in my possession for 3 and a half months)

Having said all this please anyone thinking about buying a samsung maybe think twice.

And

Is there any accountability or legal issues with having documented emails promising me a new phone. I would like to take this further if anyone can help. The case does go a little deeper then just this but if anyone is interested I will be happier to share all the information

I'm reading about the water resistant tips and claims, yet my watch was never submerged in water to the extent that was written here and it stopped working and is considered out of warranty. The claims from Samsung are not consistent with what actually happens if your watch gets wet!
Their Claims:
No matter what nature throws at you - whether it's rain or puddles - your watch will be perfectly fine. That's because many Samsung smart watches and fitness bands are water resistant. In other words, you can keep track of your workout when it's raining, or even underwater! Note: Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch. Watches may not perform in all extreme conditions. Water resistance tips for your Samsung smart watch Even though your watch is water resistant, please remember that it's not indestructible. Make sure you follow these tips carefully to prevent any potential damage: Whenever your watch gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Do not expose the watch to water at high pressure levels. After using the watch in seawater, rinse it in fresh water and dry it. Failure to do this as instructed may cause the watch to suffer from operability or cosmetic issues. If the watch is dropped or receives hard impact, the water resistant features may be damaged. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high velocity activities. Falls and shocks may weaken the structural integrity of the watch. The watch is not intended for scuba diving. The Galaxy Fit, Gear S3, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2 can stay under 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. Galaxy Fit, Gear S3, Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2 have all passed military specification (MIL-STD-810G) testing against specific conditions, including drops from 4.9 feet, extreme temperatures, dust, shock and vibration, and low pressure and high altitude.
They Lie! I had to pay 200.25 to have my watch fixed!
