It was exactly as described. Thought we had bought it from the UK but turned out it from China. This was not a problem at all. The dress stood out from some that had paid four times more. Reading other reviews thought we had been lucky but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. If somebody was expecting a £1000 pound dress for £150 then that's their fault. Would recommend Shilla to anybody.
Please do not buy from this web site there a scam I bought my wedding dress from here when I received it it didn't fit at all was way too small even tho I gave them the right sizes, there was no returns address they just kept offering me 8% if my money back they won't let you send it back offered to make another one but wanted me to pay again so please they are a scam donor order from them the should be shut down
Ordered size 16 for my UK size 12 daughter so we could have it altered. 10 days late even though we paid express delivery. Way too small needed to have ordered a size 20. Sent them photos to confirm. Now offered me an insulting 8% of purchase price as refund! Complete was of money and upsetting for a 16 year old.
Ordered a prom dress was made incorrectly colours not as advertised on site. I was offered a £9.60 refund on a £100 dress or them to put right their mistake for £80. Is there anywhere I can report this too a consumer helpline or something. As they are based abroad they obviously get away with basically steeling off people it's a disgrace. Take your money send rubbish goods get away with it.
Absolutely horrendous, the dress didn't fit when I got it custom made, very cheap and tacky. I have tried for over a month to get a refund and they are offering me 14% of the £124 I spent. Very rude and do not know how to deal with customers. NEVER buy off this company.
Can anyone one help! I've been informed by "shillas.co.uk" that if I return my dress that I ordered from them I am only entitled to 8% refund. Which is absolutely shocking as I paid £164.99.
Has anyone else had any luck in getting a FULL refund? If so could you please tell me.

I cannot believe that I did not read the reviews on this company before buying. I ordered my niece a dress for her Debs and when it arrived the bottom was a possible size 6 and the top of the dress was no less than a size 12, all of the sequins were falling off and the colour should have been gold but looked like a dirty yellow. We took it to a tailor to see if it could be amended but she recommended right away to return it. I have now been trying to get a refund for the past three weeks only to keep getting the same reply " We can offer you 10%! I have never been so angry as after reading all of the reviews this company is obviously a scam. I will not be dropping my case with them until I receive 100% of the cost of the dress. I am also going to flood social media to warn of these con artists and I would encourage you all to do the same thing and stop this scam from happening to others

Ordered 2 standard size dresses but they don't fit my step daughter around the bust. Checked their returns policy before ordering just in case. The company want photos of my step daughter in the dress to show the problems. I have flatly refused to photograph a 16 year old and submit to a stranger, I have clearly pointed out the issues s d referred back to their policy. We are now at stalemate and reviewing the law on this.
Do not use this site, after purchasing a dress for my daughters prom it arrived looking nothing like the picture on the website, I am in a continuing battle to get a refund from them which they are unwilling to do. Stay clear of this site. Terrible customer service!
Ordering from this website is a torture. Don't invite stress and depression. If you want to cancel your wedding or ruin your special day then go ahead with shillas.
I ordered a dress which was so ill fit that it was a disaster and when i asked for exchange they denied completely.
Its clearly mentioned in their exchange and return policy that they will return or exchange a dress if i don't like it. But its all a bunch of lies. They are fake, rude and insensitive people. I have filed a consumer case on them and hope them to suffer. I had to cancel my wedding photo shoot because of their vulgar dress and they don't even care.
I curse the day when I ordered dress from them. I just wasted my 100 pounds.
If I could offer no stars, I would. The dress arrived after 3 weeks and was NOTHING like the picture. Very poorly made, the liner was longer than the skirt! The stitching was appalling and the embroidery laughable. After several fruitless attempts to obtain the return address and a return authorisation, we asked the CC company to return our cash... but they said that too much time had passed and we would be unable to claim. So we stuck it on eBay where it achieved about 20% of the cost. DON'T use Shillas UK - they are based in Hong Kong and have no system for returning the items. Also, ignore the positive reviews, they have all been written in poor English because, guess what, they are written by the same people that sell the dodgy items!
This website is an absolute SCAM. I ordered a dress which looked fab in the picture, however what I received was a monstrosity. It was cheap and completely the wrong shape and size, tight in parts and loose in others, even though I gave them my measurements. They say the make to order, they absolutely don't. They won't give me a returns address and refusing to give me a refund. I spent £140 and they had the cheek to offer me £12 as compensation after lots of e-mails begging for my money back. Absolute disgrace, how are they aloud to operate?
Firstly they have nothing to do with the U. K. Despite what it says. This means no trading standards can help you when you make a complaint. You may receive your item but you WILL want to send it back to which they will only answer you if persistent and again only give you a £9 discount on next purchase. They don't speak good English as from Singapore if manage to get hold of them. So again please be warned as you will never get your money back!
Bought a dress paid over £120
Came in the wrong size, looked cheap and smelt of fish!
Asked for my money back was refused and offered to alter this at an extra cost! Advised that the postage to send it back would be too excessive and not worth it also that the occasion I required this for had passed. Was advised they can give me £11 in order to get alterations done. Firstly that would not cover any costs but after several email exchanges I accepted this was the best they would do however a week had passed and this £11 did not show up so I chased it up to be advised that they have pushed it for me and not to worry another 3 weeks had passed so I emailed again no response. Emailed again a week later and my emails just bounce back.
Guess I won't be seeing any of my £120 back not even a small sum of £11 which to me was an insult in the first place. Disgrace!
Disgusting customer service, there T&CS say refund offered if dress isn't correct but when we sent them picture of how bad the dress was and how much it doesn't fit, they offered us an 8% refund of a 90 dress! Please save yourself the hassle and do not buy from here.
I ordered a prom dress just over two weeks ago, and it came today- perfect fit, everything about it is great. Which meant I didn't have any trouble. But I know that if it didn't fit, or I wanted a refund, despite what their site says about refunds, they are unlikely to do it. I only read reviews about the poor customer service after I ordered the dress, for £88 but thankfully I was one of the lucky ones, and my dress is beautiful.
I wish I have red the reviews here before i bought from there. Bought 2 dresses - one totally different than in the picture, the second one doesn't fit and they both are very bad made and looks so cheep! They want to give a refund of only 8%. I don; t know what to do I can't even write a bad review on their website. A fraud!
It was very clear that the item could be returned but this is a real con so don't believe it. The dress was completely the wrong size even though clear measurements were provided. The quality of the buttons were not great either. Went backwards and forwards so many times to try and return it but they refuse to give you an address and then leave it so long that it is too late to have a new item made. I'm reporting this to my credit card company and to trading standards as it is all clearly fraudulent!

Although there website says they offer refunds no matter, they don't. My dress was too big & beads coming off before it even arrived. They are not uk based & terrible to deal with. They offered an 8% refund & I just want to return dress & get a full refund. Their website is very misleading.

DO NOT BUY from this site! My daughter's dress arrived but did not fit! They will not refund us! I am playing email tennis with this woman! She keeps saying she needs a photo to prove it does not fit! She is finding any delay tactic she can think of. She won't send us a return address. I am absolutely disgusted with this company! Beware! I ordered a dress from here two weeks ago, it came and I was so excited having read amazing reviews and on the picture the dress looked gorgeous.
I got home from school one day last week and my mum told me we have bad news. She took me upstairs and hanging in her wardrobe I found this dress. It was an ugly, horrible pink instead of the colour in the picture and the things at the top of the dress, were cheap tacky sequins that were falling off already. I'd asked for 2 inch straps, they were 1 inch. The dress was far too long and it didn't fit me around my chest. I was so upset and disappointed.
My mum has emailed the company asking to send the dress back, they told us to just go to a tailor which is ridiculous because it's not even just the size that's wrong with it, it's the whole dress. It's nothing like what it's supposed to be. We paid a lot for the dress as well as near enough £20 for delivery and they are now not allowing us a refund. This is ridiculous and so upsetting.
As per all negative reviews 'Shillas' website is something you must avoid. Do not waste time and money as they will substitute it with a dress that quality is SO poor you would be better of buying a fancy dress outfit from eBay.
Finally be suspicious of the good reviews on this website as I would expect Shillas were writing them.
Horrible - you pay a huge amount of money for very cheap fabric, the dress is worth £10 and you pay over £100 - they don't even want your dress back even though you ordered a size and not a tailored one and they leave you with the dress (in the bin already) and offer 8% refund of the total price.
I will work on having this website reported for their dodge way of getting people's money, because as you can see everyone has the same experience. Do something people!

It's been four months since I bought a daffodil dress from Shilla. The dress was not what was advertised on site, it arrived late. I paid 140 pounds, returned it straightaway. Shilla have refused to refund me and I will insist I get back what is mine. Please beware
