So my mother ordered a dress and paid for it in good faith and like many of your stories we have been hit with the same problems, the dress is the wrong size and when asked to make a new one they told her she needed to pay 70% of the material cost. WHAT A JOKE! They then have the audacity to tell my mum she will receive 8% of the total cost of the dress! This phoney company needs to be shut down they are clearly robbing people left right and centre and because they are based in Hong Kong they can't be touched! Joke, that's daylight robbery!

They just keep making excuses saying it's hand made etc.

Never buy from this site. I am in the process of sueing them.The whole thing is a con! Trading standards are now on the case. Everything about them is false! So if you are reading this refund my money or I will spend the rest of my days bringing you down!

Absolutely disgusting service dress didn't fit poor quality... only offered 8 % refund when I wanted to return dress for bigger size... also they wanted more money for another dress to be sent... very disappointed would not recommend this company to anyone should be closed down.

Do not buy from these people, dress arrived on time however, was damaged and different to pictures. Since making my complaint they no longer answer email and phone is always directed to voicemail - scam site, don't waste your money

Shillas is an amazing company that stocks gorgeous evening wear, with stunning dresses from numerous different brands. When I was browsing the internet for dress ideas for my prom, I spent so long on different websites never finding the 'wow' dress, until I came across Shillas.The dress itself got so many compliments on my prom night!

Don't buy from this company they basically lie every thing they write about refund and there policy is crap! And they don't care about people being coned out of 140 pound! Disgraceful I would never entertain this site again I've lost 140 pound down the drain as they took money out of my account after saying payment hadn't gone through days later! N by that time I had ordered another dress with no problem on a different site! I explain all b they said we will cancel it with a 70 percent charge!

I ordered a red ball gown which in all cost £140 when it arrived it looked nothing like the photo online and had a cream netting which dug into the neckline. Utterly uncomfortable. Emails have gone back and forth asking for a photo of me in the dress and 'Linda' the person@ schillas saying she felt it fitted me well so no refund.
Do not buy from this web site the pictures are taken from elsewhere and then cheap and nasty copies are made by this scammer in China. Dont waste your money! I went to TK max and picked up 3 gorgeous dresses@ £23

Re dress. Very poorly made. Not the matieral it states. Some beading loose. Pull in chiffon right across the front. And dirty greasy marks on the front. Each time I look at this dress I find something else dont give any rating but wont submit without.

I have been looking for an outfit for a special occaion and recognised these designer dresses.
The real thing costs at least £250 some I recognise as £1200 Dresses.
All the delightful Linda has done is copy and pasted from reputable designer websites.
She should be sent to prison for fraud!

I ordered a royal blue dress http://www.shillas.co.uk/shillas-*******.html which in the end did not fit well nor was the fabric what I expected. It came literally in a plastic bag without a nice packaging or anything. For 80£ expect more. They also didn't send through the jacket that I had ordered with it. After Countless emails showing the dress they still refused to give me any sort of refund. Please don't buy on this site. Check he returns page it is full of grammar errors that you wouldn't expect on a decent website and shop.

Often you may be able to find better deals and 2015 prom dress if you shop well in advance. Many retailers know that parents are willing to spend whatever it takes to get the dress of their daughters dreams so the closer that time comes the higher some prices may rise and the more difficult it can be to find cheap wedding gowns.

I was reading these reviews and I was scared to receive my prom dress in the mail. But it is beyond beautiful. It was designer quality, fitted nicely and it shipped a week before expected. My experience with this company was a great one and I will purchase from them again. I look forward to prom and getting to wear such a stunning and unique dress.Do keep in mind sizing though, I did ask them to alter something I dont think they did however its an easy fix.

Did come late with express delivery- awful quality. Mislead to believe it is UK website dresses come from China in China quality not uk standards. Rip off. More money taken from my account then agreed.
Customer service doesn't exist- answer mashine with broken English only...

I ordered a dress from this company for my daughter for her prom and it was unsuitable. It cost me £150. I asked for a refund even though it says on there policy they offer refunds. Trust me they do not! Please do not buy from these people. Disgusting customer service and i am now £150 and no dress for my daughters prom. Theres no returns address either and they refuse to provide it. I will be contacting trading standards. I should also mention they inappropriately asked for a photo of my daughter in the dress to see why its unsuitable. Disgusting!

I bought a dress two weeks ago it arrived today and it was awful. I order a nice long baby blue dress size 12. I got dark blue almost black, very cheap crystals, low quality material and unfitted size. I paid 159 pounds for the dress and I dont know how to get refunded. I wish to find a place to report that they are deceiving people by a very nice web site.

Dress i received was with the trail I didn't ask for and top construction was faulty...
Worst customer service ever they wanted to give me 8 EUR refund I asked if they can pay for my tailor expenses which are cheaper than to send the dress back to them.

So sad and disappointed... also you can't leave bad review on their website which is strange as I could see only positive reviews they are checking all bad ones and not allowing them to be posted.

People be careful as this is the worst website to buy your goods, will get 100% disappointment if you get some issues with the product quality and construction of the dress! :(

We ordered a dress that my daughter had her heart set on... I was very worried when I learnt that it was coming from China (to the UK) and when I then read so many negative reviews - but - the dress arrived 'exactly' on time and was an absolute 'perfect fit' and also, to my astonishment, extremely well made/quality (and I am extremely fussywith that kind of thing! Put it this way, the dress which we ordered had total cost of GBP £99.99 which £20.00 was delivery charge, but, would easily cost over £180-200 if bought in the rip-off 'shops'! Very very happy! And this is NOT a fake post/review! Sometimes people who have negative comments may need to check the sizing that they are ordering?!

Under no circumstances should anyone order from this conpany & its debatable as to whether they are. No refund received even though item cancelled in reasonable time. Numerous emails sent to which replies received but to date no refund sent. Biggest con & rip off ever... be warned stay clear of Shillas dresses. You will regret it

My dress never arrived, I have been chasing them for 2 months for it now. They have finally accepted it is lost and have begrudgingly offered me a refund of 20%! For a dress that I never received. Really poor customer service and they will not pass on the details of a manager or anyone in charge.

Do not order from them. They are awful, one of the worst, if not the worst, companies I've come across.

Me and my sister ordered 2 dresses for £220 for a friends occasion, also paid for express delivery for a specific delivery date. Both dressed where delivered 3weeks post agreed date, both dresses in wrong colour and wrong sizes, way too big, they were custom made, material for one dress is average and for the other dress is the cheapest material which tears as you wear. The company is in china and noone ever picks the uk phone which they have on their website, they dont reply emails, basically, customer service is non existent, its a foreign company just deceiving people through good advertising, but ripping them huge, with little people can do to stop them as they are foreign based. All I can say keep away, be warned, I learnt the way.

Took a risk and bought a dress from Shillas. What arrived was laughable! It was meant to have lovely beading and a horrible old flower pattern was sewn on instead. Have since done more research to find out the picture they advertised was a designer brand! It should not be allowed!

Ofcourse they are being uncooperative and stalling giving me a refund for an item i do not want, need or is anything like what was described.
