After ordering my daughter's prom dress I then read the reviews and was in complete panic. Dress arrived yesterday 10 days earlier than expected and it is incredibly well made. The colour is more red than Burgendy and the dress is about an inch too bag around her torso which isn't great as supposed to be custom made but all in all it is very well made, double lined and beautiful.

Green bridesmaid dress ordered to receive a PINK one! Then they would not exchange to the correct dress unless I paid 70% of the dress cost again, it was their fault I had the wrong dress! Total scam! They should be shut down!

I read all the reviews on this website before placing my order and i really had my doubts, but i didn't need to worry as the 8 dresses i ordered looked and fitted great! I would definitly use the custom size option and make sure you get the measurements correct. I ordered 6 of the same dress different sizes and they all looked identical, then another 2 for younger bridesmaids and they were also identical. You do get a couple of tiny marks here and there and an odd stitch here and there but to be honest you get that when you spend double the price in the shops! It seemed to me after reading the reviews that most people had issues due to them wanting a quick turn around so just make sure you pick the 22 day turn around.

The dress is exactly what I was looking for! I loved the dress as its size was perfect and which made my curves look nice. The size is corresponding my usual size, the material pleasant to touch and the colors is correct, just like the way its on their website. I feel like a million dollars!

I bought this dress a few week ago and was afraid that I wouldn't like it in person because of the skirt material. When I received it, it was absolutely stunning on me. The dress itself looks O. K. The Quality isn't great but you get what you pay for. The problem is the size. I chose made to measure for my daughter who is very petite because we couldn't find anything to fit "off the peg". Well, what turned up is a dress several sizes too big and for someone at least 6 inches taller.
Customer services ignore their T's and C's promising refunds or remakes if the size isn't right - they just use this to reel customers in! I have been offered an £8 refund and a 10% off voucher for my next purchase... what makes them think I would EVER buy from them again?
This company is a scam and they are based in China - enough said. I just wish I'd seen these reviews before I placed my order.

I ordered a wedding dress online for work use and needed to cancel it within 24 hours of placing the order as it wouldn't arrive in time. Linda said they would charge for the already cut material (£110 for a £180 dress!). I asked if they would send the material and was told they had binned it!? So after a flurry of unbelievable emails I had to keep the order or waste the material money. The dress arrived with an invoice for a 20 dollar jacket. I have asked them to send me an invoice for the dress so that I can claim on my work expenses and they have refused. SHILLAS.CO.UK is not a UK based company and are a complete con. Rude, unhelpful. Please don't waste your time and money when there are amazing companies out there with a great customer service.

Poor quality, wrong size, none refundable product, bad customer service, hidden charges, foreign currency bank charges, company offered 8%-14% refund. Report!

The company are being surged for counterfeiting. Any orders I believe will be no more and I bet no money will be returned. Companies based in Hong Kong are clearly scamming customers on these fashion websites. Beware, I doubt the good reviews are real as the products and paperwork are very suspicious when you get them.

Unfortunately I did not read the review before I parted with the money. I would have saved myself the money and the hassle. Exact same story as everyone else, professional website & reasonable return/refund policy. Dress image was excellent placed order with credit card details.
Day 1 when dress arrived and I sent email to say I wanted to return & refund. Stumbling blocks were put in my way, looking for photos which I did not see the point of doing but eventually did. After 20+ emails, offering to pay for alteration locally or re-make dress, I got an offer of 10% of the cost circa 18 and I could keep the dress! This outfit should be shut down.If dissattisfied inform your Credit Card Provider and they persue a refund via Shillas Visa Merchant. They should not be allowed to operate into the future. This is not over.

I ordered 2 dresses £179 for my daughters prom, 1came nothing like the picture, cheap tacky material. The other dress never arrived at all... 55 emails 6 voicemails to the so called Linda! No refund even though I had not received 1 dress. Outrageous company to deal with, how do they get away trading? They are stealing money off of people... my bank refunded in full to me and chased the company!

Don't buy this rubbish. The material is cheap and nasty the dress is nothing like the photographs on their website, it was put together with cheap panels. Not the lovely dress shown. It had cheap sequins all over it - not as advertised, a solid, uncomfortable, nasty product. When I reported the problem and sent photographs they offered me a 7% refund. This is a rip off company. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS. The dress was not worth £5, nevermind £135. This company needs closing down. Also this company appears to have uk factories and outlets this is not true!

Like everyone else we have been conned. Ordered dress for my bride's evening gown. When it arrived, it was cheap material, poorly finished with faults in the seems and cost £180. Looked nothing like what we had ordered. Correspondence with Linda was send photos, say they ordered material and then offer 10% refund. All unacceptable. We will contact bank and report to police. I searched the domain name to find out who it was registered with

Got a dress with stain and faulty front. They offered me to go to local taylor and fix it. Then i wrote them fixing cost 50, dry clean 25. Didnt get answer for 5 days and sent email again. They told me that they can cover ~12 euros. Thats terrible. I do not recommend you this website at all. I need a new dress and spent for terrible dress a lot of money. Would love to add a picture here. Girls, be carefull! One month until wedding and i have no dress.

Hello ladies Help please did any of you got your money back? I ordered a dress and its completely rubbish i send the email and they think its completely finethe dress looks nothing like in a photo, has different colour of threads, it's too big, im so angry and upset don't want to lose my money. Any advice what to do how to get the money back?

I ordered a standards size dress larger than required so I could have altered here. When it arriving it was at least 4" short around the chest so couldn't fasten. When I challenged them, they wanted another 70% of the cost of the dress to replace. I quoted the consumer rights act 2015 in that the dress was not as described and therefore faulty (they provide measurements on the website which do not correspond to the dress). Alternatively, they would offer me a 10% refund and keep the dress.
I'm disdained to read all these other comments. Wouldnt have used this sham company if I'd known.

This dress is amazing! Especially for the price. The cut was beautiful and many people commented on it at the wedding I wore it to. It arrived a few days of ordering it and even got to have a quiet laugh at the fact I had the dress before being notified it had been dispatched... that is great service.

I wish I could rate lower than one. I ordered a very expensive prom dress from this sight, I sent my measurements so the dress would fit exact. However, due to circumstances, I had to cancel the order. Their site states a refund if cancelled working 24 hours. I ordered the dress at 8.04am and it was cancelled 2 hours later on the same day. Yet they ignored me. And avoided me. And sent the dress anyway. To make matters worse it didn't fit, and for more of a better word, the thing was hideous. Literally, I would've been ashamed wearing such a garment to prom. I then sent the dress back asking for a full refund having cancelled it. After many days of exchanging angry emails, I received no money. Not a penny. You really shouldn't order from this site, especially when it says it is UK based, however my parcel came from Beijing... It is a con and my order / experience is currently with the fraud department so we will see how they like that.

Ordered the dress days before I read the comments about the site. Despite the majority of reviews being negative, the dress I received in the post was simply identical to what I had ordered. My nerves were in shreds for the three weeks it took for my package to arrived but needless to say I was 100% satisfied. Dress was superb quality and only needed minor alterations. Very true to size. Honestly was SO worth the risk in the end, despite me being very anxious waiting for it to come. Really really worth taking the chance, although I am aware some people were just very unlucky..

Never ever would I ever buy a dress again online!

Not only did this dress not fit me, i received it the day after my event!
I had asked for a refund and they said it would be fine to refund and now they are offering me £9 for a dress I paid over £100 and never wore, arrived late and looks so cheap!

Please do not buy from this company or be fooled to think the dresses look like the ones in the picture! Hugely disappointed

Never ever will I buy from this site again. They sent wrong colour dress messurements were wrong and it had faulty zip. They said send pictures so the could see and refund me and all they offer is 10% off the dress what a joke and to put they are in the UK is a big scam
