It was exactly as described. Thought we had bought it from the UK but turned out it from China. This was not a problem at all. The dress stood out from some that had paid four times more. Reading other reviews thought we had been lucky but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. If somebody was expecting a £1000 pound dress for £150 then that's their fault. Would recommend Shilla to anybody.
Please do not buy from this web site there a scam I bought my wedding dress from here when I received it it didn't fit at all was way too small even tho I gave them the right sizes, there was no returns address they just kept offering me 8% if my money back they won't let you send it back offered to make another one but wanted me to pay again so please they are a scam donor order from them the should be shut down
Awful company. My friend purchased a dress from their website. As she doesn't have Internet connection my email was used for correspondence.
The dress arrived and it was hideous. Nothing like the picture on the website. It was of the poorest quality. Contacted the helpful "linda" for the return address. Two weeks later emails sent everyday she has given every lie and excuse under the sun but not the return address. Which on their website states returns accepted. The dress aswell as being hideous doesn't even fit despite being the company being given all the correct sizing. It was meant to be for my friends wedding basically her wedding dress. They don't care. They only want your money and they don't want to give it back.
I am surprised that Google allow them to continue to advertise on their website considering after hindsight my friend reading all the reviews. This company are daylight robbers. Stay away and head to town for a decent dress where your statutory rights will be honoured.

Bought a prom dress for my daughter, as with most others the dress was vile in every way, did not realise it was not uk based & unfortunately came across reviews after the event, after a week of pointless e mails requesting a full refund & a delivery address to return I contacted my bank, I had paid by debit card & raised a visa dispute through them, sent the trail of e mails I had to NatWest proving I had done everything I could to obtain a refund, pictures to prove the dress I thought we'd ordered & the dress on my daughter, totally not fit for purpose, screen shot of their returns policy showing if there are any issues they will offer a full refund, the bank refunded my money temporarily which I assumed they think I have a case to receive the monies back in full with the information I had provided to them, that was a couple of months ago & I've heard nothing since. Worth a try for the sake of forwarding on a trail of e mails.

I SENT PHOTOS, NOT GOOD ENOUGH, THEY WANTED PHOTOS OF MY DAUGHTER WEARING THE DRESS. I ORDERED SIZE 8 BECAUSE SHE IS SIZE 8... NOT 4 NOT 6. ITS A FITTED DRESS SO IT WOULD GO PASS HIPS UNLESS WE BREAK THE ZIP. I AM TRULY DISGUSTED.

THEY SENT THREE DRESSES IN COMPLETELY THE WRONG SIZE, MADE ME PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE AND THEN OFFERED ME 10% REFUND SAYING THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO REFUND ME IN FULL, DESPITE THEIR WEBSITE ASSURING EVERYONE THAT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE DRESS, IT DOESN'T FIT, WRONG COLOUR ETC THEY WILL GIVE A FULL REFUND. COMPLETE CON ARTISTS. HAVE NOW TAKEN THE MATTER UP WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND FINGERS CROSSED I GET A REFUND EVENTUALLY. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I CAN'T EVEN GET A RETURN ADDRESS FROM THEM TO SEND THE GOODS BACK. THEY ARE NOT IN THE UK AS THEY SUGGEST AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS BOGUS TOO, IVE RANG AND LEFT MESSAGES AND NO ONE RETURNS MY CALLS, SO HAVE TO EMAIL CONSTANTLY AND THEY REPLY AT 03.00HRS EVERY TIME SO AM GUESSING THEY ARE IN CHINA OR HONG KONG. ITS A NIGHTMARE!

Ordered a dress for a formal which arrived just too late and the colour wasn't accurate. Also would have required alteration. QUALITY POOR. Based on their returns policy I asked for returns authorisation. Thus ensued dozens of emails from Linda (if Linda is even a person) refusing to take back the dress. I tried everything, even speaking with my credit card company - basically no statutory rights as the company trades outside of UK. I can't even sell the dress on ebay for a fraction of the price! I really wish I'd seen other reviews before I ordered from them. I can't even find one positive in the whole experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. NASTY, DISREPUTABLE COMPANY.
I will not reccomend! So so dissapointed for my order. I needed for special occasion 2 dresses worth more than £200 and turned up like an amature dress maker. And i couldn't even altered it. They said to send to local alteration. Myself could be embarrsed to take as i know they will just laugh such a joke. The status of the dressed both arm not the same measurement. Fabric are twisted. The breast are deform and awfull and everyone sees the dresses are laughing. I emailed them to say i want my money back they said 8% only i can have back! This website should be sues or complain. Fraud! And yes you're all right they just copy dresses and altered.

Ordered a dress from this company arrived late and i did pay for it to arrive on a certain date. I am currently at loggerheads with them as the dress had seams not sewn. Neckline completely puckered. I am truly dissapointed and disgusted by my prom dress; I ordered a dress on the 8th of March for my prom which is on the 30th of June from this SHILLAS website.
Today I went to collect it from the dry cleaners for them to tell me that the dress is all incorrect - the zip is faulty, the skirt is inside out (the lining is inside out and the external part of the skirt on the dress is on the inside) and it had all been sown wrongly. Also, they had to sew many beads and sequins back on which were hanging off.
I am now no longer going to prom unless I get a refund on this dress as it was incredibly expensive and I cannot purchase a new dress.
I am extremely upset, disappointed, disgusted and incredibly fuming!
I hope no one else has to go through this and I do recommend purchasing your dress in a store and not online, especially from here!

The evening dress was completely amazing precisely what I wanted. I was a bit worried about the sizing however it fits like a fantasy. I will certainly be going to site once again for other things.
I rarely complain but am disgusted with this company - I ordered a dress made to measure - dress was backless I request cover back as it was an option - I can't wear backless - dress arrived no back - I have since spent 3/4 wks arguing with them- dress cost £90 - they have offered £10 refund! Or will re-make for a further £55 - they also refuse to give me a contact number or a manager/directors email address to discuss -DO NOT USE if they make a mistake they won't pay for it
Feeling anxious. I ordered a dress from Shilla.co.uk four days ago and still haven't received confirmation that they've received my order. I wish I'd read these reviews prior to placing my order.
I ordered a dress it took almost 3 weeks for the dress to come and when it came, it came in the wrong size, What were supposed to be individual stones were actually cheap sequins. I asked for a refund. A dress that I paid £115 for they are only offering £15 back as a refund. Outrageous! Please do not patronise this website. DONT ORDER FROM THEM THEY ARE SCAM
I ordered my prom dress, which look beautiful on the website! But no it came and was about 20 sizes too big. The material is so cheap it could rip with the slightest touch. I payed £100 for this dress when it looks like it should be worth £5. The dress looks nothing like the picture the top part is completely see through and the skirt looks like a duvet sheet, that is a million sizes too big! I am absolutely disgusted with this website its a scam and the dresses look nothing like the picture! PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE

Beware consumers. This company is a scam. It is not based in the UK, it is based on Hong Kong. If you are not happy with the product there is no customer service and they WILL NOT give you a refund. I purchased 2 bridesmaid dresses on this website at a cost of 300. The dresses did not match what was advertised and when I asked for a refund they would not engage with me. Well well well where to start I am a size 8 normally but went for a size 10 just to be on the safe side, my first mistake, following the instructions of the site I entered my custom measurements and was generous with my bust size, my second mistake, So after trusting all my measurements were accurate I added the alterations and personal touches I wanted and proceeded to part with 213 UK pounds for the seemingly stunning prom dress, after a 2 month wait it finally arrived in the wrong size drowning me in cheap fabric a completely different colour and tbf just a ugly dress, my third mistake was expecting a refund as stated in the website but lo and behold 'Linda' said 8% was the going rate so the night of my life ruined and over 200 UK pounds later I am fuming

I ordered for my niece as a surprise and the dress was exactly what she had described as her ideal dress. It arrived earlier than expected and I would recommend the site to others
