Ive have good and bad luck with this site. I believe they got employees/friends/family helping to bid up the prices just to make an extra buck. Shipping and handling prices are $#*!ing insane. 15 or more to deliver across 1 state for an item that weighs 3lbs. Seriously wtf. Keep an eye out on items with signatures, not all come with a coa, so you gotta do your own investigation on if you think the signature is legit.

Each goodwill store has its own items, you'll see the same name bidding on items, but they wont bid on something another state away... that tells me there some questionable bids going on.

Horrible, bought items on the 20th didn't ship until the 30th. Their excuse was we are behind. Not my problem. Shipping and handling fees are always $20. Literally bought 5 new hotwheels and was expecting about $10 shipping. Wrong $25 bucks. No thanks not paying. Have also read from former employees they shill bid on items. Sorry but a ton of stuff sells for more than retail and then a few days later that same item is relisted. Goodwill is a scam anymore. All the stores have upped prices to retail or internet sales. Quit donating to this $#*! company. Drop your stuff off at local Salvation army

Better off buying on Etsy or EBay. Employees are bidding prices up. If it doesn't go as high as they want, although you are the highest bidder, the sale is cancelled. Happened to me twice. No response from managers or customer service. In another instance item looks nothing like what I bidded on. 3rd issue was item had obvious break that wasn't in description. Don't bother, you will be disappointed. A total ripoff.

I thought Shopgoodwill.com would be great, until I was hit with shipping and handling costs, didn't receive an item purchased in a lot one time, and received an item I didn't buy another time. Customer service was terrible. They didn't even ask what I wanted to do. Just refunded 1/4 of the bid total. Not shipping and handling, for an item I didnt even get.
They lost a good customer.

I really enjoyed searching & bidding on items but some of the shipping charges are almost criminal. I always use the shipping estimate tool & did so while bidding on 1 single tshirt. One shirt. Won bid for $7... they send me invoice with $12 shipping & handling fees totaling $19. Hello Goodwill who the heck would buy a USED shirt for more than the cost of a brand new one! I've purchased several items & never received anything quickly or exceptionally packaged to warrant any of these shipping charges. I'll shop on ebay or amazon & spend my $ on actual products & not outrageously overinflated shipping charges.

I bought a scarf that was $11. The shipping for the scarf was over $12. I could've bought a new scarf at a department store for less! Customer service unwilling to work with me when I contacted them about the shipping costs. STUPID. Be aware that they price gouge in their stores AND ONLINE~

I've had, in the past two years, 10 items that I have Won, for a low price, be canceled. I sell on eBay so this would have brought a little bit of profit. But it seems each time either the item is lost, been sold, or they don't even try to make up an excuse. It just isn't here they can't find it. Has anyone else had this happened to you? I honestly think that some Goodwills, if the item doesn't make enough money in the auction, will be canceled and sold elsewhere. I know they have shops on eBay. But I just wondered if it happened to anybody else. In the last 2 months I've had two items, a painting and Brahman purse do the same thing. I'm wondering about going to the Better Business Bureau. Ashamed to say I, too, thought I would be helping out if I bought at ShopGoodwill - after paying too much for items themselves and paying too much for shipping a couple times - I belatedly did my research. DO NOT BUY HERE if you want value shop elsewhere. If you want to help the less fortunate, shop at the bricks and mortar stores or donate directly. With that said, review where your donated money is going... so much siphoned off for CEO and executives it's a shame. I'll stick with eBay and Craigslist.

I think the new website is horrible. You can't find new items listed as easily and its very difficult to search the title and description. I can't figure out why advanced search wouldn't just default to that anyway. Since the new site launched it seems that there are just not as many items listed in art supplies, crafts and collectibles that I used to search for.

I buy a great deal from this site maybe around $200 a month or in art supplies alone but no more, the items just aren't being listed online at this site.

I just "won" 2 actions, both for items in categories where there were few-no bidders, and won both of the auctions at my max prices, which were 40%+ more than the minimum. Both auctions had 2 bidders. Myself and the shill account. I am seriously contemplating bidding on something worthless for like 300 usd and seeing if my max bid is reached... wouldn't be surprised! Bottom line: Bid like $1 over the minimum, max. Don't be in a rush. I feel so violated.

But honoring MY agreement I paid and just hope this technology actually works... apparently the chances aren't good from other reviews.

Their shipping charges are outrageous. $11 to ship a 5-ounce package? I saw the shipping fees prior to bidding there were ZERO handling fees, but I also saw that they would use FEDEX to ship the item.

Since, I really wanted the bracelet I placed my bid anyway. When the item was shipped, I saw that they used USPS FIRST CLASS shipping coming from PA to NY and it was shipped in a used padded envelop! Of course, I emailed them and got no response.

I have no idea what kind of charity organization goodwill is as I have never seen or heard about them giving anything away free of charge. People donate and they sell the items at high cost plus extra high shipping.

Just make sure whatever you get from that site is something you really want and check the shipping charges prior to bidding.

I buy a lot of rubber stamps from tacoma wa good will online. They usually have okay stuff to great They wouldnt issue a refund because they state that their items are under unspecified conditions and they dont have time to give any buyer the time of day to answer any of their questions... this time some of their rubber stamps were unusable being the rubber mount wasnt shown there for they had creases in them... melty rubber and more. I give this washington location a 1 star because I have to, I'd rather give it none at this point.

I've had this happen 2x now! I thought I'd give them another shot! My mistake. They ship the products but if you don't get the products they won't refund and you're just SOL! So NEVER again! I have deleted the app. I can't recoup the money I've spent. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

I have bought 5 items from Goodwill online. Four of them stated they turn on but didn't know if they worked. All 5 didn't turn on none of them worked. The last item was a VCR for $10 when I saw the $15 shipping charge, I contacted the auction by email and asked the person if I could just pay for the VCR and donate it back to Goodwill they said yes. Every time I tried to enter an auction it stated in red letters, I owe for the VCR that I paid for and that I would be kicked out of future auctions if I didn't pay. I then paid the extra $21 they shipped me the VCR that stated it would turn on and of course it didn't turn on. I don't believe anything from Goodwill works. DON'T BUY FROM Goodwill.com! If the volunteers and paid labor are too lazy to plug in the product then they should get another job.

Used to like bidding on items here but lately I have been outbid by a dollar and get notified the day after! This has happened more than once. The other thing is the "processing" fee. I bid and win. Thnk I can afford it. I go to pick it up. Spending my time and gas and they tack on a 10.00 fee for a frickin donated item that I AM PICKING UP! I am done... greed is taking over. They are no longer living up to their name._Dissapointed.

Have bought numerous items over the years, and must say most of the items are poorly packed and arrived DOA. I gravitate towards antiques and it is a loss to see some rare items packed by a dipsh*t and see it arrived worthless. And SGW could care less. They have a deal with FedEx (to there loss) that keeps the $$ rolling in. Have not bought in a year or so anything of value, but large antique vase had no packing bubbles on bottom and the peanuts do not do crap for protection. Bottom of vase broken off. They never seen to upgrade there practices, just keep falling short. I would not say criminal outfit, but very close.
