It amazes me that a company that was founded upon premise of easily bringing products to the consumer, is now almost incapable of fulfilling customer orders in a timely and easy fashion. My first problem was the inability to access the purchase page. It took THREE DAYS and countless emails and calls to nameless and faceless people to finally get the suggestion to try a different web browser. Thankfully, that worked, but the website should state that Safari is not supported. Secondly, once I WAS able to access my check-out page, it did not allow me to use my accrued SHOPYOURWAY points and then I had to call several different numbers to cancel. I was finally able, with the help of their employee Pearl, via a phone order, to FINALLY make my purchase. This step took ANOTHER day, for a total of FOUR days to buy appliances online. It would have been less wasteful of my time, to build a time machine(which is impossible) go back to 1892. Mail in my order, and wait for the Pony Express to deliver it. My entire ordeal in dealing with SEARS and SHOPYOURWAY is a monument to why this once storied company has fallen on its own petard.

Just like many others posting on this site, I have been unable to redeem over $47 dollars in rewards that I earned through purchases. I have made countless number of phone calls, sent emails and snail mail to no avail. I have spoken to several reps who seem willing, but unable, to help. As of last communication, the issue was blamed on IT and the buck was passed on to that department. I won't be using this card ever again. Sears used to be a great company - no wonder they are now gone. I had to select a rating on 1 as no selection or Zero was not an option.

About 4 months ago (in april, it is now july) i ordered a T-Shirt and a pair of pants. The pants just now came TODAY, with the shirt still not arriving.
I have sent multiple emails to their company about it, and although it takes them a few days to respond, they have been at least a little bit friendly when i've been rude af. However, I've asked for a refund 2 different times, and they said they "could not do refunds as the clothes have already been shipped" and that they "would make sure i get my clothes."
The clothes are very cute and affordable, but the time it takes for them to ship is tremendously long.
I don't recommend this place.

I had 94.00 worth of shop your way reward points and they disappeared when I tried to use them at a Sears online store. I spent 4 and a hallf hours on the phone trying to work this out and fix it with absolutely no success. Total scam.

The rewards cannot be collected, so the points are worthless & customer svc sucks! Interest is sky high & they refuse to lower it. They don't work with customers during the pandemic, preferring to kick us when we are down. This company is a scam! NO LEGITIMACY!

I have called 4 times, left on hold for 15 t0 25 minutes. Promised they would fix the account issue and would Email me but it would take at least 48 hours. Never received an email or any correspondence and called again. I asked for supervisors and they were unable to follow through. They seemed like they wanted to genuinely help but dropped the ball again and again.

It took me MONTHS to make a purchase of my $65 rewards credit. Everything I was interested was either not in stock of not available for shipping or in store pick up. I would call and ask fore help and would be on hold for long periods of time, got disconnected and/or get someone that could not speak good enough English to make it through a conversation. It was the most frustrating and annoying process I ever experienced. Felt more like a scam than anything! You could not even use your rewards to put towards your balance on your credit card bill like other credit card reward offers allow. This is a joke and I will never use this card or service again! Total SCAM!

Total scam

If you try to redeem your points something will go wrong every time! This is a total scam! We have $71+ dollars in points. I loaded a cart with 14 items. Go to cart for checkout... "your cart is empty". Scam, scam, scam! Stay away from this high interest NO REWARD card!

They closed my account for no reason with no explanation. I spoke to them on the 2nd of the month saying that I misplaced my card iin my home and asked them to send me a new one. They said fine look for it in the mail then I get a email stating my account is closed. I have zero balance and always pay on time, furthermore the person I spoke to on the second of the month NEVER said a word. On hte 6th my card was cancelled. I'm planning to go out of town and very welled planned to use this card and they tell me the account is closed as of the 5th after the call. HORRIBLE COMPANY they just $#*!ed up my credit score with no warning or regards to their customer. NO WARNING, NOTHING and they say there's nothing they can do. I'm trying to buy a house. I work very hard to keep my credit in order NOW THIS!

Awful awful company

What a horrible way to do business. Reps have no idea what they are doing. I've been hung up on. Transfered to wrong places and spent HOURS to do a warranty exchange on two small items. Litterally hours. Finally got the exchange completed. Paid extra for faster shipping but they took 2 days to ship the product out. Now the product won't be here when I needed them to be. This won't happen twice. Never again SYW.

Very bad ugly service in my life first the customers hanging phone on you second I did dispute but the next day they reported me to Transition I closed my account and 113 points dropped and keep calling not answering my phone and hanged on me so please I got stuck with them never ever apply to this ugly service and credit

I've been getting points from Gasbuddy and have been using then on SYW for over a year. I've bought many things no problem, but I learned that the points don't cover shipping (WHICH IS HIGH). There are few products that you can use the points on, and even if you find something it's either not available or there's some kind of error. I recently had an error where it wouldn't let me pay. I had to start all over again, but then even though I had applied my points when the transaction finally went through, I paid full price with no points. I sent an email to cancel, I called and they say: "OUR PRODUCTS SHIP TOO FAST TO CANCEL ANYTHING" -paraphrased but I asked if I could get some points back or money back because of THEIR ERROR and they said "I CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING, BUT YOU CAN SPEND YOUR POINTS STILL." Yeah right! I just paid $52 for a t-shirt and two sets of baby clothes along with inflated shipping and I'm just supposed to eat it cause their policies are built to bring the company down.

SYW is nothing but a scam. You are limited to buying the crap seconds Sears has and then you are grossly over charged for the item. This is nothing but a scam and it is ILLEGAL. Please write your AG and the BBB to report SYW and Sears.

These people working there are unbelievable mean. I placed an order with Sears but cancelled it later. Sears has confirmed that they issued me the full $25 of points. But ShopFway keep partial of the points. When I called them, they just tell me "when you placed the order, you didn't use all the points you just used $18 of points so the remaining points were expired". What a joke! Sears already confirmed the amount of points I used but ShopFway still want to cheap. Never deal with them for the sake of your health and time.

I have a dozen other cards that honor their points. Don't need this nonsense. You can call them until you're blue in the face, they don't care.
