I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. I ordered an authentic pair of Tom Ford reading glasses with blue glare protection. Not only were my frames on sale but it was really easy to get my prescription done with them. I simply uploaded my prescription and every other tid bit requested was done online. My favorite feature was the virtual styler. Everyone knows trying on frames is really important before making the purchase. If you upload your picture you can do a virtual fit for all the frames they sell on their website. It's really cool. I definitely plan to do more shopping on this website in the future.
I experienced considerable frustration with SmartBuyGlasses after placing an order on July 19,2024 (Order No. US*******722G). Despite being reassured multiple times that the product was in stock and would be delivered promptly within 5-7 business days, the service was anything but reliable. The company failed to communicate effectively; after the delivery deadline elapsed, I had to initiate multiple follow-ups. It was only then I was informed that the original frame I ordered had a defect and was unavailable, a fact that was only disclosed after the promised delivery period had ended. Choosing a replacement frame did not alleviate the issues. The process was delayed again as the company requested further details to start manufacturing, indicating that my order hadn't even been processed yet. This lack of professionalism and poor communication from SmartBuyGlasses has not only been a major inconvenience but also impacted my plans significantly, as the glasses were intended as a gift. Based on my experience, I advise potential buyers to be wary of the unreliable service provided by SmartBuyGlasses.
I ordered designer sunglasses with custom polarized lenses and they were exactly as ordered & pictured. Because they were customized it took additional time but I received on-going emails from the company notifying me of their status and also when they were shipped. It was well worth the wait! My glasses arrived in a beautiful case with a cleaning cloth and the original lenses which allows me the option of switching them back. I will definitely order from this company again. HIGHLY recommend.
I ordered frames over two weeks ago now and there is no update with my order after many emails and reaching out to them on Twitter. They have no phone number for customer service and their promise of 24 response time on emails is not true! I don't think I will ever be getting my glasses. So upset and there is nothing I can do about it.
My title says it all. Use these guys for contact lenses for the last year or so i think. Always the cheapest but just as importantly, delivery times are consistently reliable; in fact i think the time from order to having it landed has shorten since my first orders.
I am very pleased with my new glasses, especially considering they were a third of the price I was quoted by a local eye glass dispenser.
My only complaint was they took a few weeks to arrive... no quick delivery that's for sure! Other than that, I'm very happy.

My sunglasses were delayed shortly because they were out of stock. I was notified quickly buy SmartBuyGlasses and given several options to proceed, including waiting for stock to arrive and getting a discount on my order. This is what I chose, as i was thrilled to get a better deal on an already great deal. I priced the same pair of prescription sunglasses at 2 places here in Vernon, BC that were estimating $650-$700 for frames and prescription lenses. I paid about half that at SmartBuyGlasses.ca!
Found the frames I wanted $130 cheaper than my eye doctor was selling them for. Shipping was a bit slower than I expected but they arrived just as ordered and I'm very happy with my purchase. Will buy again for sure.
At smartbuyglasses I can almost buy 3 glasses for the same price as 1 pair in stores - where quality is equivalent. I have ordered twice and it has worked well both times. I work with supply chain solutions myself, and must say I'm impressed with the possibilities to track the status of my glasses and the accuracy of the delivery. The website is very easy and uncomplicated. So far I have nothing to complain about!
The order arrived on time, yet, due to personal issues, I had to return the item and I got my money back after a couple of days. Everything ran smoothly and I am very satisfied with the service. The delivery took almost 2 weeks even though they sent the package the day after ordering but that's okay because it's free delivery.
The shades I ordered didn't sit well, they were very skewed.
After contacting the support I sent pictures of myself wearing the glasses and got an okay to return them. The whole thing went exceptionally smooth and now I got a new pair that I'm happy with.
Prices are the best and they have the greatest selection of sunglasses that I have found on the net.
Ordered and paid then asked for ID which I sent and now the parcel appears to be lost cannot be tracked since Paris 2 weeks ago! Contacted the courier company who tell me they have never received the parcel to deliver. I've asked for a refund now several times as the parcel has obviously been lost but just getting the run around telling me that they have recalled the parcel and await until it is back in their warehouse until they refund me - ridiculous! My advice, go to a shop and buy over the counter and take your glasses away with you!
I must admit that I had my worries whether this website is trustworthy. In conclusion the results are the truth. After a relatively long period of preparation and transport I received my Ray Ban sunglasses in good order after 14 days in the Netherlands. The parcel was wrapped excellently, the glasses seem to be the original for a significant lower price than the original. As service a cleaning spray and mini screwdriver. Are attached as promised. I am happy!.

Do yourself a favor, call their 1-800 number. It hangs up on you instantly. All of the reviews about them giving you the runaround on shipping times, its 100% true. If you look at the website in detail at the way things are worded, everything is worded in a very misleading way. For example,
FREE Shipping - within 5-11 working days - this sounds like you are getting a deal, but it actually means as long as they stall and say its not available, you become responsible to pay the shipping after 11 days, and trust me, they will send you lots of emails.
Here is another one:
Returns: 100-Day returns & 24 months warranty - this sounds nice, but it really means is, they will not refund your money within 100 days. You will not see a penny from them for 100 days if ever.
All of the fake positive reviews are from them and only them, do not be fooled.
Tip for consumers:
Dont give your money to this slick website. It is not for real. They will take your money, then lead you around in circles and never give you anything but frustration. Read all the fine print. When you view the order details on the website, even after you pay, there is no indication that you have paid anything. Everything to do with this webside is sketchy, but it looks nice to unsuspecting people. People who trust others. If i knew where their office was, they would be in trouble

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses from them one month ago, and they have yet to even ship them to me. After two weeks, I was told it would be another 5-9 days. After another week, I was told they finally made it to the lab, and would take another 5-9 days for the lenses to be put in. It's been 11 days since that message came, and they still haven't shipped. I also had to contact them 4 times before someone finally corrected a problem with my shipping address. We'll see if I ever receive these sunglasses...

I took the 5 weeks to ship; glasses are broken; trying to exchange them for over 1 week now. No word from their customer service. The 100 day return policy and exchange policy seems to be a hoax. Never again!

My product arrived to the US from China on the date the tracking said it would. The Tom Ford sunglasses appear to be authentic, but the case was a knock-off. I've purchased this model four times and most recently from Nordstrom's and compared them. I contacted SmartBuyGlasses about the case not being authentic or original and they told me that the cases are not included in their authenticity guarantee and then continued to say they stood buy their "authentic products" yet only offered a 5% discount for the fake case or to return the sunglasses.
After shopping around for prescription sunglasses, this was the least expensive site that I could find that also had the frames that I was looking for. The order process is quick and painless, and the glasses arrived particularly quickly (about a week and a half with an estimated time at purchase of closer to three weeks, prescription sunglasses take a fair amount of work). The prescription is correct and I am satisfied with my order, without even taking into consideration the discounts that they give for future purchases.
Ordered a pair of sunglasses, I understood the shipping would be free as stated on the website, "Fast, FREE Domestic & International Delivery". Shortly after received two bills from FedEx for $37.00 in international shipping charges, seems the glasses were shipped from Hong Kong.
If you order of these guys be prepared for some large additional "third party" charges that are not disclosed.
As they say, Caveat emptor... Latin for "Let the buyer beware"

Doing business with Smartbuyglasses US. It took over 4 months for me to get my glasses. You order online, you get billed only to find out a couple weeks later that the item you want isn't in stock. This happened to me several times until I ended up finally ordering something that was in stock. The website is not up to date does not tell you that something is out of stock. When I finally received my glasses I was happy with the final product but the whole process took way too long and the customer service reps are cold and truly uncaring.
