I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. I ordered an authentic pair of Tom Ford reading glasses with blue glare protection. Not only were my frames on sale but it was really easy to get my prescription done with them. I simply uploaded my prescription and every other tid bit requested was done online. My favorite feature was the virtual styler. Everyone knows trying on frames is really important before making the purchase. If you upload your picture you can do a virtual fit for all the frames they sell on their website. It's really cool. I definitely plan to do more shopping on this website in the future.
I experienced considerable frustration with SmartBuyGlasses after placing an order on July 19,2024 (Order No. US*******722G). Despite being reassured multiple times that the product was in stock and would be delivered promptly within 5-7 business days, the service was anything but reliable. The company failed to communicate effectively; after the delivery deadline elapsed, I had to initiate multiple follow-ups. It was only then I was informed that the original frame I ordered had a defect and was unavailable, a fact that was only disclosed after the promised delivery period had ended. Choosing a replacement frame did not alleviate the issues. The process was delayed again as the company requested further details to start manufacturing, indicating that my order hadn't even been processed yet. This lack of professionalism and poor communication from SmartBuyGlasses has not only been a major inconvenience but also impacted my plans significantly, as the glasses were intended as a gift. Based on my experience, I advise potential buyers to be wary of the unreliable service provided by SmartBuyGlasses.
I ordered two pairs of sunglasses 4 months ago and I have only received one pair. The company doesn't seem to care that I've waited 4 months for my full order, they have offered no solutions except every time I e-mail them they say it will be a 1-2 week wait. NEVER order from this company.
I was notified of every step of the process making my prescription glasses. I got them in a timely manner, they were in impeccable condition and my order came with a free eyeglass cleaning kit -bonus. They even sent me the old non prescription lenses that came with the frame (don't know what I'd use them for but they were technically mine). I'm already looking to order more...
I had received my Jackie Ohh's by Rayban with slight damage. After some e-mails i could exchange them for new ones. It took a bit longer to receive them but I am over the moon with my sunglasses and the service was wonderful!

Worth the hassle. My prescription Ray-Bans arrived and were perfect! I saved about $100.00. Shipping was slow and communication was not great. However, I WOULD RECOMMEND to friends/ family. But, if you are replacing your only pair of broken spectacles, this is not the company for you.
Very bad service, i order from them two times and then cancel my order after they confirm me that's in treatment.
I will not check your website again, stop to take people as stupid. I will never be your customer again. All of you say the same stupid reason. And what is mentioned as fast delivery most of the people they don't like.
I ordered a pair of Costas no problem until 2 weeks later when was informed they were out of stock. They were very quick to charge my credit card however it has been several weeks and I am still trying to get a refund. Excuse after excuse. I finally had to dispute the charge with my bank. Still waiting for resolution. Buyer beware!

When the glasses arrived I had to pay extra tolling fees that I had not been sufficiently informed about before purchasing. The site I ordered from was in Norwegian with a Norwegian address, so I assumed that taxes were included in the price as it normally is in Norway. The fact that the product was shipped internationally and would include extra fees should have been more clearly communicated. Will not be buying from this store again.

So, I decided to give it a try. And I am happy I did. I received my Ray Ban eyeglasses (frame only) in less than 1 week and the item is perfect for me. They even sent email notification about shipping tracking number. Great service.
SCAM! I ordered my glasses four months ago and they still haven't come! I have emailed them many times and they have only gotten back to me a couple times telling me that they are on their way. I have tried to get the charges reversed on my credit card but it is too late! Do not make my mistake and ignore these warning reviews only to be screwed.

The glasses I bought were very well priced and have turned out great. I'm pleased with the product and would buy from smart buy glasses again, with one caveat: the delivery time was quite slow, apparently due to a hold up at customs. Hopefully smart buy glasses will streamline this process in the future a little bit.
To be honest, I am literally stunned to get this type of fantastic service for the amount I paid for 2 pairs of glasses. I lost my glasses last week and went to a few of the UK specs stores in London for urgent glasses. Most of them said they will need 7-10 days. Then I decided to order online. I received my glasses from SmartBuyGlasses in just 4 days! The quality of the glasses is excellent compared to the amount I paid and I would be even happy to pay 5 times more. I would definitely use this website for my future glasses and would recommend my friends as well. Thanks:)
Ordered a pair of Gucci frames with prescription lenses. Other than the rather long wait of a couple weeks during which a couple of progress emails were sent, they arrived exactly as expected with no problems. Didn't use their customer service so can't comment on that. For the price, I didn't mind the wait.
Very impressed with customer service. Timely shipment - arrived exactly as ordered. Unfortunately the frames had a defect that was no fault of SmartBuyGlasses, and their customer service department resolved the issue quickly and professionally.
At the beginning, I was not happy with the prescribed sunglasses I received and complained. After many emails from their customer service, I thought that I received a reasonable explanation on why my lenses are so thick.
But anyway, I think that it can be improved somehow for a better service.

I order 2 pairs of prescription sun glasses and both arrive in the original packaging and in perfect condition. I'm in Canada and didn't have to pay any unexpected fees. They arrived quickly and the tracking system was excellent while I waited. Would recommend this site to anyone.
From the beginning till the end of my purchase and still after I can say only great things about SmartBuyGlasses! Even though my glasses went out of stock, the whole time their staff was very thoughtful regarding my "frustration" and my needs. I just loved that I could check at any minute where my package was. I highly recommend their site.
After my purchase, i did't receive a confirmation straight away, this took a few days. I received my purchase within 3 weeks. I ordered extra thin glass, and i'm happy i did so.
The picture of the glasses on the website didn't show what the sides looks like, so the legs turned to be different than expected, but overall i'm happy.
I placed my money order on 31 Jan. They collected the money from my credit card immediately. Seven days later nothing has happenened, and their customer service number is "not recognised".
Looks like a scam.

I switched to Oasys for Astigmatism and this is the only online shop that had them discounted at all (searched almost ten sites). The lenses are sourced from various regions globally do I was worried about shipping time but actually it came pretty fast, probably faster than the average online contact lens store. Highly recommended!
As we are regular buyers through Smartbuy.com we can only produce positive reactions and confirm that there has never been any topic to discus +/- whatsoever. From this side I wish al the best towards Smartbuy.com
First, they don't honor the "price match", they give you a long drawn out bible of company politics and then deny it. Second, watch out for "sourcing", that is double speak for find the cheapest price on the planet to make even more money from people trying to save a few pennies. Third, they use the absolute worst "carrier" on the planet (227th worldwide) Aramex, you won't believe some of the reviews. They send me a "tracking" number, carrier says not delivered after 4 days. And finally "customer service" lies about where they are located, she tells me Hong Kong when actually they are in Canada. Listen, LISTEN, every time you try to save a penny you spend a dollar. I was warned, and now so are you.
Tip for consumers:
BEWARE, read everything very thoroughly, just save your money and pay the extra for good service/product. This company is very shady, they really make you pay for saving a few dollars. Remember, it's all about the money.

I ordered a pair of Ray ban for my 12 year old daughter, which she loves by the way. It took a little longer to get the glasses because they weren't in stock but I still got them within 2 weeks. And they gave me a 5% discount. I will definitely order from smartbuyglasses again
