I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. I ordered an authentic pair of Tom Ford reading glasses with blue glare protection. Not only were my frames on sale but it was really easy to get my prescription done with them. I simply uploaded my prescription and every other tid bit requested was done online. My favorite feature was the virtual styler. Everyone knows trying on frames is really important before making the purchase. If you upload your picture you can do a virtual fit for all the frames they sell on their website. It's really cool. I definitely plan to do more shopping on this website in the future.
I experienced considerable frustration with SmartBuyGlasses after placing an order on July 19,2024 (Order No. US*******722G). Despite being reassured multiple times that the product was in stock and would be delivered promptly within 5-7 business days, the service was anything but reliable. The company failed to communicate effectively; after the delivery deadline elapsed, I had to initiate multiple follow-ups. It was only then I was informed that the original frame I ordered had a defect and was unavailable, a fact that was only disclosed after the promised delivery period had ended. Choosing a replacement frame did not alleviate the issues. The process was delayed again as the company requested further details to start manufacturing, indicating that my order hadn't even been processed yet. This lack of professionalism and poor communication from SmartBuyGlasses has not only been a major inconvenience but also impacted my plans significantly, as the glasses were intended as a gift. Based on my experience, I advise potential buyers to be wary of the unreliable service provided by SmartBuyGlasses.
I ordered a pair of Ray ban for my 12 year old daughter, which she loves by the way. It took a little longer to get the glasses because they weren't in stock but I still got them within 2 weeks. And they gave me a 5% discount. I will definitely order from smartbuyglasses again
I had a very pleasant experience with smartbuyglasses. They gave me the glasses I ordered within the specified time frame in perfect condition. I would definitely make purchases from them as their prices were much lower than retail outlets here in HK.
One minor comment would be that it would be great to let user know of the order status in an automated fashion. Right now everything went fine, but I knew not much before I actually got the glasses. This is in contrast to Amazon where you can trach your shipment.
First, after ordering these glasses for my husband, they told us because of his perscrption we had to pay another $119.00. Even though his perscrption is barely a perscrption at all. Like I'm talking about the fact that he has almost 20/20 vision and we were more or less wanting them for bifocals. But no explanation. Okay paid the additional amount. Then the glasses took forever to come, again no explanation along the way. Then when finally we got them, the perscrption was completely wrong! Seriously bad company. Expensive and not legit obviously!
Don't buy from these people. Their offshore customer service help are completely incompetent. From waiting 4 months for glasses they claim to have on stock, to having no direct way to contact them, this site is a joke. Awful.
They had the nerve to request a review from me by spamming my inbox. Well, here you go. Now have your social media team in China try to refute my claims. You're not sorry. Don't try to cover it up.
I read some other reviews that were less then complimentary for Smartbuyglasses.com. I was concerned as I had already ordered some D&G sunglasses. The price with coupon and free shipping was better than local stores(and I did not have to go to the mall!). I was charged on 7/29 for the order and received the glasses (as ordered) on 8/13. This may be longer than some shopping websites, but not nearly as bad as some of the other reviews for this website. I'm a happy shopper on Smartbuyglasses.com.

Convenient website, flawless quality of product and helpful client support. Had a 1 week delivery delay because of their supplier but was notified about that in advance and offered a discount or a refund. No reason why would I not use their services again nor recomment them to others.
The only complaint I had was that my glasses sat at a Fed Ex facility for a couple weeks due to a customs regulation. Glasses are considered a medical device and had to go through quite the inspection. Although the glasses were shipped quickly, they didn't arrive for close to a month. I think customers need to know upfront where their glasses are being shipped from and how long to expect delivery. I am pleased with my glasses though.
Genuine product exactly as described. You can't beat that price. My optometrist was selling these about twice the price. Nice to have shipping included. Talking about the shipping it was "lightning fast"; it left HK within a few hours after ordering it and received it a day and half later in Calgary! I did not have to deal with customer service, so let's not assume anything... Overall my experience with SmartBuy Glasses has been a very positive one... I would definitely buy again from them :)
Shipping so slow. The "2-3 days shipping" on the item page is a lie. I ordered on this page as I need it soon but after 4 days, it was not shipped yet, and I could not get it before I need ti. So disappointing. If you can't deliver within 2-3 days then don't write it on the page! And there's no way to complaint or communicate with customer services directly on their website.
I sent email to complaint and then it is shipped 1 hour later with the package number that has NO RECORD on the post tracking website. Another lie.
It's a very disappointing experience, full of lies.
The only shortcoming they have is shiping time too long. Customer service good. Whenever i sent emails, they replied in a very short time explaining my query. I am overall satisfied and would use site again.
I bought these without reading all the horror stories about delayed shipments and poor/non-existent customer service... Which I guess was stupid, but I'm glad I did. I can only speak for myself, but my glasses came in a week and exactly as I'd ordered them. I really couldn't be more pleased.
All of my sunglasses were too big on me. The temples were the real problem-just too wide and made my hair stick out around the ears. These sunglasses are totally adjustable. I had to bend the nosepieces a bit because they hung too far out on a downward angle, but the fit is PERFECT now! These are so comfortable and lightweight. Already got some compliments! WARNING- these sunglasses will spoil you! When I can afford it later, may get the silver tone with gray lenses! Oh- shipping was very fast!
This is a shady website. The glassses they send you are not the ones you prushase or see on their website. I paid a lot of money for nice black frames by Police, and received plastic glasses grey and orange befitting an 8 year-old. Never again!

After spotting the frame I wanted in a physical store I wanted to read about glasses before I bought them. That's when I stumbled upon Smartbuyglasses and could not believe my eyes: a 70% saving for the same product, and delivered at home... I got a prescription, uploaded it to have it checked and voila. Good communication all along the process: order placed, in production, tracking number. The glasses are just perfect! No reason to look elsewhere anymore, these people do an excellent job!
WARNING! What a scam. Their site said they were a Canadian company. They process your credit card then you get an email saying it you have flagged by their system as a risky transaction. They will release your order if you email them your passport or drivers license. There is no way I am giving them a copy of my id. Can you say IDENTITY THEFT. It took them 4 days to call me to discuss and the call came from a call centre in Shanghai. I have reported them to Visa for fraud
I ordered this pair of sunglasses for my wife and it was promptly delivered to me. Although my wife was a bit skeptical about buying it online because she is not sure whether we can get the right product and whether it is brand new or not. I ordered a pair of Persol sunglasses from this site. It took approximately 3 weeks to get them, which I thought was a reasonable length of time considering where they are shipped from and that they don't stock everything in their catalog. My biggest concern was authenticity, seeing they were much cheaper than on other sites. After doing some research I determined that they were genuine. I was very pleased and all promised accessories were included. I will use this site again when the need arises.
I ordered a pair of glasses from them and was shipped with the only one lens polarized. I request for them to rectify and they respond with their returns policy rather than their factory error. Regardless, I follow the policy and send the items back. Two month later and I still don't have a idea when i will receive the correct set. I have requested contact details of the manager and all they do is toss you around between the customer service technicians. That is if they respond. Absolutely Pathetic. (Updated) If the comment from smartbuy glasses are to be believed and I was communicating with an actual manager than this scenario is even more dire than i thought. Site jabber can you please start with negative stars as this requires at least a -3 star rating.

Paid full money for a pair of gucci glasses, after receiving the glasses from the FAKE capital of the world 'HONG KONG' I started to think something isn't right, luckily living in London there's a few Gucci shop in town, I hate to check them out. The shop assistant giggled at me and said sorry these are not authentic! I felt sick that I paid over a £100 for a rubbish fake paid of glasses. Please don't get ripped off like me. I never ordered sunglasses or any type of prescription glasses before so I was a little worried about the process. After doing some research on my head type and correct sizing I made a leap of faith and ordered a $300 pair of shades.
Anyways the glasses were shipped very quickly and were very well made.
I think you just can't just click a button and order, there needs to be some time to think it over and kind of pretend that your order will turn out good.
All in all I'll order again one of these days.
I was able to replace my glasses which I'd driven over in a car. The optician didn't stock so I was so pleased to find the same ones on your site but at a cheaper rate than I'd bought them initally. Bonus. They arrived promptly with extra lenses and in a great case. Excellent service. Excellent products. Will def use you guys again.
The quality of my new glasses is very good! The prescription lenses are great as well. My error was ordering a size too big so they do slip off my head but that is my error, not the company. I would definitely order again
I have been waiting for my glasses for over 1.5 months... Communication was a disaster, I am really disappointed. In the end I had to talk to the shipping company myself, just to find out that the whole delivery address was messed up by SmartBuyGlasses.

This was a new company for me to try after experiencing problems with my contact lense orders from some top name brand online pharmacies. I found this website to be user friendly and my contacts came in the amount of time as was promised. I will definitely continue to order from here!
It's been over two months now and I still haven't received my glasses from these people. I read all the reviews at how horrible the company was but thought for as much money as I was saving it would be worth the wait. Wrong! They are now telling me my order will be delayed another 3 weeks. For a total of 3 months of waiting. If they arrive at all. They are placing all the blame on the manufacture stating that they aren't shipping them their orders and that they are no longer selling Oakley or Oliver People because of the delays. Worst online business out there!
