I was not looking for a handout I called and explained my situation planned on making my payment just needed some help I was shot down not able to explain my situation. Pointblank ask after I explained "why is it you can't make your payment?. Totally blew my mind. I have dealt with customer service on both sides of the fence. I Pray she never sits from where I am setting because she absolutely has no compassion and apparently neither does her superior. I will get it paid off eventually but I will never purchase from them again. I will never recommend them to anyone. I kept Products that should've been sent back (Wrong sizes, not as pictured or as advertised) because the shipping was too much to be sent back and will still pay for them. Everyone, I know is going through some kind of trial right now but apparently not Stoneberry Credit Counselling Services, why even put the number on there and say call we can help.
I have made three purchases from them and liked two of them REALLY well. The other, not so much (which is why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars).
Here's what I learned, though: when shopping on this site, buy a name brand, not something that's an "off" brand. Returns are not free, and for what I paid for shipping on the pair of "off" brand shoes I didn't like -- well, it just wasn't worth returning them. I figured it was a bit like flushing my money down the toilet (I may never wear these shoes as they just look kinda cheap and weird), but lesson learned.
The other two items -- a pair of Birkenstocks and a set of Pfaltzgraff dishes -- were GREAT. Excellent quality, arrived quickly, no issues whatsoever. And yes, these items are overpriced compared to what you'd pay at another retailer (like Amazon), but for those of us who are rebuilding our credit, it's a great way to be able to have a high-quality item that you can make payments on over time.
I also must note that two mugs were chipped in the set of dishes I ordered, and customer service was both prompt and courteous -- and they got new mugs shipped out to me very quickly from the manufacturer. I was 100% happy with my experience and did not find them even slightly rude. On the contrary, I felt like a valued customer.
Overall a very positive experience!
I may be complaining about something small here but it's the principle. Been doing business with this company for a few years now and with the exception of a couple of returns, have never had a problem. Last week I was going to order two small toys at $13 each. There was a $13 shipping charge which I thought was a little high but I was willing to pay it. What I was not willing to pay was the $15 shipping surcharge they tried to tack on it. $28 shipping for two items that together were smaller in size and weighed less than a third of a loaf of bread. No one else I order from has a surcharge, and I might be willing to pay a small surcharge on larger items or larger orders, but not this.
I have been doing business with this company for sometime now and have never had a problem so far. I really don't know why all these other people are reporting the problems I am reading. This certainly is not my relation with them.I will continue as long as this remains the result. I think the only negative aspect is that many products are over priced but I guess that's the price you pay for shopping on credit. It shouldn't be that way but that is my only gripe.
I've ordered from stoneberry for 2 years now and never had any issues. My credit line went from 200 to now 400 hundred and i have been satisifed with all the items i have purchased from here. No comment on customer service because i have never had to contact them

I ordered some gifts for my stepdaughter from here. The prices were actually fantastic, the shipping was very fast and the packaging was great. My step-daughter absolutely loves her gifts and it wasn't even $100. Will definitely use again and I highly recommend.
I have always made my payments on time. I made a payment twice in the month, the second payment I made was made early for the following month. When I received the invoice in the mail, it read that I was behind a payment. I spoke with someone over the phone, and explain that I made the payment in March for the month of April. And that I have every confirmation numbers. But they wasn't willing to look into it, but gone on to say that I am behind. Which I know that I'm not. But they don't care to check it out and see that I'm correct. They just want extra dollars. And gone on to deny me credit to one of their sister stores, whom I had credit with all along. And never missed a payment as well. When I spoke with someone in the customer service, they weren't friendly. Just cold and callus. One payment more and I'll end my account.
The people down grading this company were probably born with a silver spoon and had their butts wiped by their mothers all thru high school and possibly still til this day. THEY SELL good products and have THE BEST SERVICE, BEFORE< DURING AND AFTER THE SALE! Even if you return the items. I give them 5k stars. Have been a loyal customer for many many years and,, THEY treat me like royalty. I recommend them HIGHLY!
I love stoneberry. Everything I have ordered I received quickly and has been exactly what I ordered. They post payment quick and deliver quick. Very happy with all their companies.
After over 3 thousand views of this review, Thank You Fellow SiteJabbers!, and several weeks and several telephone calls to Massys, I found the tracking number and called another agent, and was told, "I don't need a tracking number, they got the item back" months ago, and what do I want? So the same item in a smaller size. They send it to me, finally, and a bill for it too, it's $5.00 more and a check to me in the amount of $39.99 representing the refund for the return, which I lost $5.00, (price increase) $8.00 (restocking fee). That's not counting the $8.00 it cost me to ship it there. All in all, 8 weeks of aggravation, looking for a tracking number, being upset about this, being screamed at and lied to by various telephone agents about calling for a return without a tracking number, CAVEAT EMPTOR, LET THE BUYER BEWARE, with so many fabulous options out there, people that want to treat you well to take your money, at least go that way, Even though their merchandise is unique and I liked it enough to tolerate this madness.
They claim they did not receive my return I mailed certified via U.S. P.S., because i can't find my tracking number, they are liars! I have the reference number for the receipt I paid with a credit card so if possible I will track it down to prove this. How terrible to trust to purchase and return and pay. A TERRIBLE SHAME! You are warned!
