Worst company ever

Avoid buying from this place. I initially thought that this website sells stuff similar to generic stuff on Amazon but at wholesale or discounted prices. Most of the stuff on Amazon is crap already anyway but OMG, the items on Temu are beyond cheap, cheap, cheap and you really get what you pay for. It's a decent place to buy for fun but definitely not for long-term use. Even the SIMPLEST household item fail so forget about appliances and electrical products; they could probably start a fire!

1. Rug grips wouldn't stay in place then came off within a week.
2. Cable organizers fell off the same day and left irritating foam adhesive that's impossible to take off the surfaces.
3. Manual garlic chopper was a piece of crap. Blades were close to being as thin as a piece of paper and the construction was terrible.
4. Skirt says material is cotton but it was obviously not cotton nor anything close. No labels, no care instruction tag, nothing.
5. Miniature animal figurines came with broken limbs.
6. A pair of generic sneakers already had the heel coming off the moment I tried them on.
7. Faucet sprayer attachment was some crappy piece of plastic covered in a thin chrome finish.
8. Questionable cosmetic products that I wouldn't even put near my face. You're not saving money by buying generic products. They're not all made equally. In USA, you have to list ingredients and the products are tested. With the products sold on Temu, you could be told anything; it's not regulated nor tested.
9. Product images and descriptions are often wrong or misleading.
10. Most items are definitely too good to be true and not like the picture at all.

For many of the products above, it spanned between 3 different orders and I only purchased what I thought was "good quality" because I trusted the reviews on the website. Now, I'm starting to think the reviewers are either fake or their idea of quality is very low.

Everything came in plastic, plastic, plastic and more individual plastics. All the product boxes are always beat up and crushed up. Everything here is worse than the dollar store. Yes, there are quality products manufactured in China but in USA, it's always quantity, pointless consumerism, waste, and more crappy products then stealing customer information for marketing purposes. Unless you're looking for cheap party favors, this website is terrible for the consumer and the environment. Stay away!

TEMU has cheated on me!

UPDATE after TEMU replied me:

- Order ID: PO**************901

- I've been in a chat session with your colleagues today, right before I wrote the review, but the outcome of our conversation was deplorable!
I shipped the damaged items and other I don't like in a robust cardboard delivery box, despite your laim bag I received it, squashed and deformed, but I haven't received the confirmation nor the delivery status in your app, hence I got anxious and very frustrated!

Just now I have finished a chat session with TEMU customer service and they proved me I have lost my money, when I returned a package with damaged and faulty goods, and they're asking me to wait until the shipment arrive to its destination, in the warehouse to become inspected, even though TEMU is ALWAYS shipping items you are ordering, only in bags and ALWAYS you'll receive the article inside squeezed and damaged, but when you want to return these, you are forced by the carrier (DHL & Cargus in my case) to use a robust cardboard shipping box,... what a mockery!
I have undoubtedly lost my money (roughly 40,00 €) but perhaps everyone who is reading my comment here, will take necessary precautions and avoid this fraudulent chinese platform!

The reason Temu does not accept payment via PayPal is because they can't steal your money through them if your transaction with their products goes wrong, even if you make the proof of sending the receipt and applying for a refund!
Temu won't compensate anyone who returns their products, they'll just bombard you with hundreds of ads and collect your personal and bank details to be sold on, to hackers!

Worst Customer service ever

Temu is all good as long as you have no problem. The moment you have a problem, they become the worst ever company. I had an order that was never delivered and they kept insisting it was with a misleading picture, they asked me to call their courier service for further details and when I did the courier service told me it was returned back and to call temu for it. When I got back.in touch with them, they kept saying to call the courier service and that they wouldn't help, even after I sent them picture of email from the courier service asking to contact temu. After a lot of back and forth where both companies kept asking ti call each other, the courier company relented and gave me a refund but temu never took responsibility for it ever.
The next thing that happened was I ordered a bunch of items and one was a shelf packed in a box. I omly received that box and the package itself was tightly wrapped around the package that you can tell there wasn't anything else packed. I sent the picture of package and the shelf box itself and unless they want to agree that they tempered with the box of shelf, there was no way to say items were packed. But temu kept denying my claim without any info. After atleast 15 times, I had contacted their customer service, all I got was their cameras show it was packed. I recieved no proof of it and my proof was discarded even though it was a solid proof.
Not to mention it is actually hard to reach their customer service. If you contact customer service to talk to a person, they will tell you to submit a ticket. The ticket do not talk to an actual person and they refuse to talk to you one on one. The only way you can directly talk to them is to call them and even that takes ages and you still won't receive the help you need in the end.
