Service
July 12, 2021

So the other day my family and a few friends when to Texas Roadhouse in Altoona pa we had 12 people six at one table and six at another our service started out ok then it went down when our food came one table received there good but the other did not we waited an hour before anyone came to check on us and it was a manager so we ask adopt the food and it came but it was messed up my friend has a mushroom allergy and so does her mom they ask for no mushrooms when there food came out the mushrooms were hidden thankfully They noticed one and didn't eat it then we ask for the check and they were messed up we ask a manager to help us fix it he did but we didn't pay yet so we waited 15 more minutes for our waitress and she assumed the manager took care of us but didn't then I seen her go to the register and tell everyone how terrible of costumers we were and that drew the line for me because my family goes there every time we go to Altoona and that's never happened to us before and I understand taking care of a large group of people is hard because I used to work in a restaurant but you should never give attitude when someone uses their manners you use them too I don't care how angry you are or annoyed costumer service is a hard job so make sure you can handle it without getting mad and potentially loosing customers

November 10th 2021 at 4pm, my daughter and 6 others showed up and reserved 2 tables fir a total of 12 people. They seated 6 told 1 he had to wait for the other 5. Myself and 2 seniors showed up. We had others on the highway about to get off and show up to make more than 12. The others never got a chance to come in. After waiting 30 minutes with my senior mother I asked if we could be seated since the table was ready and we could order appetizers and drinks while we waited. I was told 3 times no. That the complete 12 had to be there. So I asked to speak to another manager because the lady manager on duty was seeming to be a little rude and agitated. Like we were bothering her. Then comes a man claiming to be the other manager. Explaining the situation to him which he was very aware of it. He was very stern in saying no we couldn't be seating even after asking the lady if we could sign up for seating for us four. Still being told no we needed to wait for the rest of our party. The man manager told us he was doing a favor because he was loosing money by the table being empty in which it was his refusal of seating us. So I said what are you saying? You don't want our money because we are trying to sit and eat and it just continued to go down hill. The other employees that was seating people wanted no parts of the situation. One couldn't even answer a question because they didn't wanna answer wrong. Him telling us that he was loosing money was a lie and him doing us a favor was a even bigger lie. We were spending our money! We gather up our party and Longhorn Steak house was happy to have our business. Kudos to them for saving my big day. A total of 25 happy patrons! My birthday was almost ruined!
Texas Roadhouse must do better!

Sanitation
May 10, 2021

I went to Texas roadhouse on Saturday May 8th 2021. Location Middletown -Warwick Rd. Delaware.
I observe the bus person wiping off 3 different tables after customers left. He wipe off the tables with the same cloth for all three. He wipe the food particles on the floor. Never wipe off the menus, or any salt, pepper, or anything else that was on the tables. Leaving I went to the front desk and said do you take suggestions? I was told yes. I told them about the what I observed. They girls up front told me they wipe them down every time. They would not write down my suggestions and kept telling me they do wipe the down over and over. I left and went home and called the corporate office. They got in touch with the manager. He called me on Sunday May 9th2021. Told me that the state of Delaware lifted the restrictions and they don't have to wipe them down. I told him I will call the public health department. He said go right ahead. Well I did and was told different. Also bathrooms were dirty with sink filthy and toilet and paper towels all on the floor. SO THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS. JUST THINK THE NEXT TIME WHEN GOING THERE. WHAT DOES THE KITCHEN STAFF DON'T DO THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO!

Yes, it was a busy night, but were trying to use up our gift card and instead had an unreasonably horrible experience at the Ft. Wright KY Texas Road House. The cloth napkins smelled. There was butter smeared on the pepper shaker. The restaurant was dirty, crowded, the hostesses and the customers were rude. Food tasted ok, but was just thrown on the plate like takeout.

Used the app for call ahead seating, app said table was ready for us. When we went to podium, Hostess said there were no tables, they needed to be cleaned. Ignored us. Waited a half hour for clean table. When we were finally seated, near the restroom, there was a puddle of water on the seat. So had to dine with wet pants the whole night. First server "Chloe" was not friendly. We politely asked to be moved away from the restroom to another table so that we wouldn't have to look at drunk men pulling up their pants while trying to eat. Moved to another table and rowdy kids were jumping on the seats and falling on us. Everyone is crammed into this location, there is no social distancing, no Covid-safety, little kids unvaxxed crawling all over, hanging upside down on tables, screaming, playing very loud games on phones. I know they market as "child friendly" but this was unreasonable.

The table turned and another party piled in yelling, talking loudly on their phones and binge drinking shots with their margaritas. They tried to start a fight with us when we asked them to turn their speaker phone volume down. When they started whining about it to our server "Sunshine" she spent the rest of the evening catering to them when they should have been bounced. We were rudely rushed into to go boxes and dessert when we were only half finished with our meal. This location needs better crowd control, diner spacing and alcohol control. If they can't provide a nice experience for everyone, they should dial back capacity. We had a good visit earlier in the summer, but the place has gone downhill. Won't be back. Their fundraiser PR is just fluff/hype.

Title: Excellent Online Ordering Experience and Mouthwatering Food at Texas Roadhouse!

Rating: (5/5)

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Texas Roadhouse using their online ordering system, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Not only was the process seamless and convenient, but the food itself was absolutely perfect, warm, and delicious. Texas Roadhouse has truly set the bar high for online food ordering!

Placing my order online was a breeze. The website was user-friendly, with clear menus, enticing food descriptions, and mouthwatering images that made my decision-making process even more enjoyable. Navigating through the options and selecting my desired items was quick and efficient. The variety of choices was impressive, catering to a range of tastes and preferences.

Upon arrival at Texas Roadhouse to pick up my order, I was greeted by friendly staff members who promptly attended to me. The pickup process was well-organized, ensuring minimal waiting time. The staff adhered to all safety protocols, creating a safe and comfortable environment. I appreciated their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Now, let's talk about the food itself. As soon as I opened the containers, a tantalizing aroma wafted through the air, building anticipation for the first bite. I was delighted to find that every item was perfectly cooked, maintaining its warmth during transit. The flavors were exceptional, reflecting the Texas Roadhouse's commitment to quality ingredients and skilled preparation. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me craving for more.

I had the pleasure of sampling their renowned hand-cut steaks, and they were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The sides I chose, such as the loaded baked potato and seasoned vegetables, complemented the main dishes impeccably. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I was fully satisfied.

What impressed me the most about Texas Roadhouse was the attention they paid to the small details. The packaging was sturdy and well-sealed, ensuring that the food arrived intact and without any spillage. The condiments, utensils, and napkins were all provided, making the whole experience hassle-free.

In conclusion, my experience with Texas Roadhouse's online ordering system was outstanding. The convenience, efficiency, and warm, delicious food surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend giving their online ordering a try. Whether you're a fan of their mouthwatering steaks, finger-licking ribs, or delectable sides, Texas Roadhouse will leave you completely satisfied. This is definitely a place that I'll be ordering from again in the future!

I went in to have myself a steak, during my conversation with my waitress on 3 occasions before she put my order in, I asked her 3 different times to please make sure my steak was blue extra extra rare. She assured me after 3 conversations that she would put the order in this way, my steak arrived about 35 minutes later when I cut into it, it was well done, the inside was entirely gray, no pink or red at all. I asked her to take it back, a manager came out and asked me to keep the rest of my meal, rice and baked
Potato, I informed her I had no idea how long it would take to get my 2nd meal so I would just prefer if they could bring out everything all at once then it would all be hot together as a meal. The manager insisted that I eat my potato and rice now before the steak arrives, I told her to take everything back with her. The 2nd steak arrived about 15 minutes later the manager brought out my steak personally set it down on my table and then asked if this steak was going to satisfy me. Like asking for an extra extra rare blue steak 3 times before the order was taken to the kitchen that would have satisfied me. So my dinner which I thought would be a fairly quick meal ended up being 1 hour 20 minutes. I filled out their complaint form on line as it was just an aggravating meal and experience. A week has gone by not a call or email from their corporate office, not a call or any contact from their local store manager, tonight when I called the store direct all I was told is we would love you to come in on your dime and give us another try.

I will never visit another Texas Roadhouse ever, their are many many more restaurants in my area that provide a much better product, service, experience, and a management team who cares. So goodbye forever Texas Roadhouse that was my last meal with you anywhere I travel in the USA. Their mission statement is quantity not quality of the meal and the experience.

Bug in salad
October 1, 2023

We ate at the Suprise, AZ restaurant last night. We have been there several times, but last night was not very good. The cheeseburger was very salty, the cheese fries were not cheese fries, they were just fries with bacon. We ended up sending back the mini cheeseburgers and got a Ceasar salad to go. This morning we opened up the salad to see a dead bug in the salad. We had not opened it until we were about to eat it. So, I took the salad back to the restaurant, I mean we paid 7.99 for it, so I would only assume that they would give us our money back, credit a meal or something. When I spoke to the manager about it and showed her the salad, she basically said once it leaves the restaurant, it is out of our hands. "There are bugs flying around everywhere" it could of been in your house (quote from manager)... um... how did it get into our house and fly into the salad as soon as we opened it up and died on impact and bury itself in the salad. I do not have time to go around to restaurants and place bugs into my salad, it was rather insulting. The manager made it seem as I was in the wrong and did not make me feel very comfortable. She said they are not responsible for the salad and the best she could do was to give me a free appetizer, but not just anyone, either a bloomin onion (sorry don't know what they call it) or fried pickles, neither of which our family would eat. Not that it matters to this restaurant, but we will never dine here again. It looks like Outback has earned another customer. On a side note, we paid over 50 on our meals to not get a good experience. I should have kept the salad and took a picture, but she took it from me, last time I do that because it would have been more effective with the picture of the dead nasty bug.

Bone In Ribeye $28
February 21, 2023

I posted the review below and has now been fixed to my satisfaction. I called Texas Road House and spoke to the manager about my dissatisfaction and the Manager of the Riverview Road House Restaurant was understanding and he offered me a voucher and further suggested that if I or anyone has an unsatisfactory issue with the Texas Road House that they report the issue while in the restaurant for issues to be resolved before we leave the restaurant.
Like I said in the original review, I should have brought my dissatisfaction with the steak to the waiter at the time it happened which would have prevented a negative restaurant review.
The bottom line is the Texas Road House restaurant is a great restaurant for family and friends. I have never had a bad meal in the restaurant. The staff friendliness is way above any restaurant that I've visited in this area.

Original Review:
On Feb 21,2023@ 5:00 PM we sat down to eat. I ordered the $28 Bone in Ribeye Steak Medium Temp Done. When I received the steak, from the out side if looked perfect. When I cut the steak from the end it looked done medium. As I started eating the steak I realized that the steak was very tough and hard to cut. As I cut further into the steak the steak started to get tougher and more rare. I cut into the middle of the steak a realized the middle was not even what I ordered. It was rare in the middle and very tough to cut through. I was with my family and didn't want to make a spectacle by ordering a replacement steak. Now the more I think about the experience, I should have reported my dissatisfaction as soon as I discovered that I couldn't cut & chew along with the rareness of the steak. What a waste of money.

NEVER AGAIN
August 16, 2021

We visited the location in $#*!son City PA with our son, daughter in law and grandchildren. They are so disorganized. This begins with management. We were seated and for 7pm on a Saturday night they should have plenty of custom sized steaks available especially ones offered on their menu. Needless to say they didn't and the waitress had to ask the manager for an answer every time we asked for something. The staff is unprofessional after my husband was hit in the head by the waitress (and she laughed about it) behind us twice we asked for a manager. He was the most condescending and rudest manager we have ever dealt with. The excuse was "we're short handed" NO EXCUSE proper training and an establishment short handed can still be professional. Our grandchildren were getting tired and after 1 hour and 15 minutes food was served including theirs. The children should have been served much sooner. I called corporate and explained in detail and was offered $30.00 off 2 adult meals. Wasn't looking for anything just wanted them to know the poor service. This gets worse. Went to a location near our home in NJ and we chose our steaks and were served Sirloin when we chose boneless Ribeye! We were going to use the coupon offered for the first screw up but in turn we were comped for the error. Sadly when we left our steaks were still in the case. What a joke. That evening I wasn't feeling well... got food poisoning from my guess the appetizer. Three times and we are done. This past weekend we gave it our best shot and final chance. The service was aweful, steak for my husband was under cooked and we were eating in the middle of dirty appetizer dishes up until we paid. The table behind us also complained that their steak was under cooked. Used the coupon and for $56.00 it was crap. Never again going back there! Outback isn't great but better. Soon Texas Road House will be on the going out of business list.

On Sunday Oct 9th My family made plans to attend the Mansfield Texas Roadhouse. We had a party of 7. We all arrived except for one person that had informed me that he was 10 minutes out. I had my mother 92 Years old and in rather poor health but wanting to get out one last time. Also my wife, Diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer also wanting to see her family one last time. As we were 15 minutes early my mother requested to me if she could be lead to a table so she could sit and not have to get back up to move about. I asked the host about seating us and he stated that without all parties in attendance that we could not be seated. A restaurant policy. I requested to speak to the manager and she was very disrespectful in her replies. I didn't want to go into details about why we needed to be directed to a table. She informed me she could seat us as a party of 6 but when our last member showed up he would NOT be able to sit with us. I finally explained our situation and she was steadfast in her reply. She offered my mother a hard wood bench to sit on to wait. That was unacceptable in that she has spine issues and can barely sit on a padded chair. Once again this will be her last time in public and this is the treatment we had. She was in tears, as you can imagine trying to be with family on an outing when no matter what we could not make an exception to this policy. On another note we arrived at this restaurant at opening time(11:00am). The stench from the trash receptacles on either side of the entry door was unbearable. Both trash barrels were over flowing and one of them didn't have a plastic liner. People that were waiting outside had to wait on the side away from the entrance. We were finally seated and waited for a little over ten, minutes before someone took our drink order. A pleasant young lady names Sammy. She redeemed your restaurant. She did an outstanding job. No manager ever came to our table during our entire visit. I have been a loyal customer at this location since 2008 and the other management staff you had there was outstanding. This particular manager was without any compassion at all. I understand policies but When I finally explained in full our situation she smirked and in a disrespectful why said "Sorry but look at that sign, It's policy. Like I stated we were there at 11 so there was not a lot of customers at that time.
