I just tried to cancel a membership I didn't know I had. Operator eventually called me back, but then hang up on me after I told her twice that I wanted to cancel. This really seems like a scam. And people say to cancel over the chat line, but when I tried that it said no one was there to chat (at 9:30am?).

I love Thrive Market. I enjoy a lot of their products and thought that they were a good price. Getting a package always made me smile and I loved how carefully everything was wrapped and packaged so that I would receive the products in good condition. I don't understand why people complain about being charged the yearly membership when it seemed pretty obvious to me. I recently decided to cancel my membership after two years. I just found that I wasn't ordering as much and wanted to save on the yearly fee. I called and chatted with someone and they said that it would be canceled. I just doubled checked and it has indeed been cancelled. It was super easy. I don't know if I will try them again in the future but my experience was nothing but positive.

I had an order the was damaged in the shipping process and it had to be disposed of. Thrive went above and beyond replacing my order and shipped it quickly! I am pleased with the quality of this company.

First time shopper but longtime email recipient: I was able to get wheat flour in the brand I wanted to try. My only annoyance: I did not know I could not get all purpose flour in the same brand until 'place order'. So I removed it from cart... after chatting w/a customer service person via chat who shared that the warehouse nearest my home was out but that I could be 'reminded' by email when re-stocked... which is fine. "Placed order" again... to be informed a 2nd product was out. A time-saving convenience would have been to be able to remove both products at the same time. The upside: I was given a discounted membership rate to try Thrive for 6 months when I chatted w/customer service (prior to filling my cart because I initially couldn't find what I was looking for). I also was able to take advantage of a 30% first time shopper discount (up to $20) or $20 off a $49 order. I gave 4 stars because of the customer service.

This review focuses more on my process of signing up and the early stages of Thrive as the reviews I read on quality were very high. I just didn't understand how it worked.
I've seen the adds on Instagram and I started with the survey and backed out as I thought it was a food service that chose the foods for you based on your profile or how you answered the survey questions. I was so wrong!
I was pleasantly surprised when I would check out another Thrive ad and found all my previous survey responses saved! Very helpful.
Once I purchased my annual membership I figured I would log into Thrive and start looking at the product options available for purchase. I did identify that I was eating a Ketogenic diet and if I felt the selection was poor I knew I could cancel my membership. Again, I was wrong. What an amazing selection of keto products!
I have two neighbors that live very similar lifestyles to me so I'm going to introduce them to Thrive once I get my first box. Thank you!

First time purchasing. It took me about 5 tries to place my order because everytime I trie fro Che k out it would tell me something in my cart was not available. I'm not sure why they would let me put it in my cart if it wasn't available. This alone was annoying enough for me to not continue to use the service, unfortunately. They have great options though.

Signed up for free 30 day trial and decided they didn't have enough items I want to justify a $59.95 yearly membership fee. I followed their instructions to cancel, sent them an email saying, "I want to cancel..." and instead I was sent an email saying "since you are thinking about canceling" and was offered $39.95 yearly membership instead. I wasn't "thinking", I wrote "I want to cancel". You can't get any more direct than that. But they billed me $39.95 anyway, even though I said I don't want their service, and am now waiting for my refund.

Have to pay to see what is available. Everything I wanted was not in stock. And getting a cancelation, refund in the first 30 days is obnoxious. Very pushy. Not respectful of time. A huge waste of time.
The AUTOSHIP is ridiculous. It auto suggests items in your cart and then starts a count down that it's going to ship soon! Freakin crazy!
Worst experience and I will never try again. Very poor taste throughout the entire experience.
From inventory, to practices, to chat, and conversations with service, it's like they are trying to piss people off.

So many things are out of stock and the prices are not much cheaper than going to the store. There were multiple items i wanted to get that were out of stock (and some of them became out of stock while they were in my cart!)

Placed an order. Says it will be here in 10 days. However, noth the entire order has shipped. The meat pack has still not shipped. This will likely be the only order I will ever place with THRIVE. I would love to have the meat pack refunded as well as my membership fee!

While I understand that issues arise from the pandemic, I find it unreasonable to charge a fee and close your website at the same time. Compensation to your customers would be the honorable business choice.

During closed hours, you will not be able to add items to your cart or place orders, however, you can still browse the website. They get you to sign up without being able to browse the products. I signed up for a month to just gain access. They didn't have a ton of options for my dietary needs and what they did have was exactly what I get at the store for the same or more money. My local store usually runs sales. With the membership fee you'd be paying the same or more and shipping if you don't reach a high enough threshold. I never made a purchase and canceled my account same day and they wouldn't discount the $12 monthly fee because that's their policy. Bad business practice in my opinion to make someone pay 12 to just look at your site when it really doesn't have many discounts or options.

I trust the brands and quality of product, so that makes it easy to shop in one place. However, I don't like that free shipping is at $49, some things you have to buy x2, that SOOOO many things are out of stock, they don't have a great assortment of brands and products, AND you are DEFINITELY not saving that much, etc. I've found things that are are actually 40% less at other retailer. So i will likely not renew my membership. In addition, i was only supposed to do a 30 free trial, but they signed me up for a membership. The only reason I'm actually shopping on thrive is to make the member $ actually worth it. Very disappointed.

I love the quality and variety of TMs food. Recommend the Mushroom Jerky. It will shake your world. I would never say I am a vegan or vegetarian yet this is by far the best snack food I have found. Plus I am over 60 years old and have never been a health nut.
