I liked that TopResume sends you an extensive survey and questionnaire to get a good sense of exactly what you want out of the resume revision. The edits made to my resume were very insightful. My only complaint is that the review process was somewhat delayed. The revisions were not made in the timeline they provided and replies in further edits were also delayed.

After receiving the free critique of my resume a few days ago and the follow up emails recommending me to collaborate with them, I posted a negative review of Top Resume regarding their approach to me as a possible future client of them. They contacted me apologizing and offering me their support if I needed it. I decided not to collaborate with them for the moment because I rewrote my CV following their suggestions, but my opinion about them has improved because they contacted me and answered my questions. Taking into account that many companies dont answer negative feedbacks nowadays, I think this demonstrates that they want to improve their customer care experience. I cant talk about the quality if their work because I dont know it, they hadnt written my CV. What I can say is that their review determined me to rewrite my CV and I think its much better now.

Less stressed & more focused. I first used TopResume to receive a free Resume Critique. Their feedback really opened my eyes to how employers seek talent these days. It also showed me that my resume was seriously lacking. I knew I needed to rewrite my resume but, to me, that task was so intimidating, I didn't & couldn't get started. I was paralyzed by the stress of it. I then employed TopResume to rewrite my resume for me. The process was so easy! From start to finish I was thoroughly pleased with my personal resume writer, Armand. He went above & beyond & provided an exceptional finished product.

I am on the academic job market and used TopResume to revise my CV. They could not have done a worse job. The first version came back with countless errors and in the wrong format. I had to send them a link so that they would reformat my CV correctly. The second version was even worse than the first: besides leaving out critical information, random words and phrases (e.g. "RITE AID" and "DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE") were inserted throughout. I had to spend over seven hours of my own time and effort reformatting my resume. When I reached out to TopResume's "customer service" their response was that they are a "fully collaborative service" and that they would be happy to match me with another resume specialist. They continue to ignore my requests for a refund (I paid $199). Do yourself a favor and use another company. I used TopResume because they were recommended by an academic career website, but they clearly do NOT know what they are doing and are a scam. STAY AWAY!

I had a great experience with TopResume and my write Tami. Amazing service and my resume was professionally done. If I had questions the response time was quick. After a few minor adjustments the second draft was sent. Dominque was extremely accommodating and did everything to make me happy. I had a great experience with Top Resume. My husband used them before for a basic resume rewrite and had a positive experience as well. I used them for resume, cover letter and LinkedIn. I was looking for some critics; What was bad and that's all, but I recieve a very comprehensible, crystral clean and professional review and critic of my resume, with not only highlights of what is wrong, but also recomendations, key tips and how much or less you are presenting yourself based on your experience.

I had my resume updated and within minutes of reposting it, I received a call from a recruiter about a better paying job with a better title. I also received excellent feedback on the thank you letter I sent to the hiring manager.

I had the pleasure of working with Tim. He was very professional and gave me great advice. I received my final resume on the 28th of June 2017 and landed my government job on the 28th of August 2017! I know that was due to Tim's re-write of my resume. I was very skeptical of the process at first but took a chance since I was receiving no call backs on my old resume. Best decision I ever made and money well spent. I have read the negative comments and everyone has their own experience. I was having no progress applying for jobs until I contacted TopResume for an edit. I agreed with their assessment, so I had them revamp my resume into one compact page and I got a job offer the first time I used the new improved resume from TopResume. I could not have gotten the job without their expertise in editing my resume and I am grateful for their service.

The initial communication seemed intelligent and thoughtful, however the rewrite of my resume was awful. The person who did the resume only included the last 5 years of my work experience. I have 15+ years of experience (which is noted in my headline)! I had bulIeted lists; the rewrite was simply the bulleted lists written out with semi-colons to separate them. My role has a number of technical skills. None of those skills were highlighted anywhere on the resume. The cover letter was the most poorly written letter I have ever seen in my life. It seemed as if the person authoring the letter did not have a solid command of basic English. This is an absolute scam. Please, please do NOT waste your money and please tell anybody you know to avoid TopResume.

I live in Russia, Moscow. And now i am in a search for a new job. I had my CV, which i composed myself. This CV was in Russian and in English language. I had a very bad experience as Top resume isn't providing the service I was looking for ( CV Design / Lay out) and refuse to refund me. It's been a month now that my case is passed from hands to hands and still no way to get my money back. I received 1 CV from them and it's probably the ugliest CV I ever seen in my life. There is no way a CV like that will catch HR attention! I am really disappointed and I lost 150$ for nothing, Don't do the same mistake!

They did an unbelievably great job on my resume and cover letter. They asked questions about myself, the jobs I was looking to apply for, and some of my work achievements so they could put me in the best position possible to succeed. The day I received my finalized resume and cover letter I applied for a position around 10:30am, and by 2:30pm I had an email requesting a phone screening.
