I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
Was applying for about 2 weeks with no responses before I used the service. About the 2nd day in after uploading the updated resume and cover letter and I have 3 responses to the resume.
The process helps you think of the best way to sell yourself.

I paid for a resume and cover letter. The resume was basically what I had sent with a single paragraph added and the so-called "custom" cover letter I'd been promised had been written by an expert in my field was plagiarized from a cover letter I found online, posted by another company in 2014. This is a scam. Do not waste your money.

I got my first phone screening and then an on-site interview after getting my resume and cover letter from TopResume. There were a few errors with the documents, but were correctable. They gave an interview guarantee and I got one.

I enjoyed working with TopResume, I like how my resume was reformatted and say more with less.
The only thing I didn't like was the writer put many more skills than I have. Many made-up things to look more impressive.
Nothing bad though, I just had to remove the extra stuff.

The second resume that was redone for me still didn't work as I was not able to get noticed now that I was laid off from the employer I was trying to get a job to leave. So no I wouldn't use this service again it was a waste of money.

I had the most shocking experience with a "writer" if you can call him that.
No only did this person not have an idea of the industry, he didn't seem to have any knowledge of the Australian worlforce. It seems that Top Resume got a higschool student or someone on the Dole to wote my resume.

My experience with Top Resume was not what I expected. The fee for the resume, cover letter and teleconference is overpriced. I was more impressed with the cover letter and teleconference than the resume. I had to make multiple suggestions for corrections, updates and comments. At the end of the day, I'm a little underwhelmed with the finish product. I set my expectations to high for this experience.

Unprofessional and very slow with responses, it's made me nervous not being able to meet my job deadline. Frustrating too because they don't respond to your emails in a timely manner. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Those who rated 4,5 stars probably work for the company.

Awesome job. The calls keep coming. I am barely finding the time to keep up with company research and interviews. I think Top Resume is well wort the price. I had three interviews this week after I sent my new resume out. The rest is up to my interview skills. I totaly recommend this service!

Waste of money and time
This is the dumbest way to waste money.
First, someone with change bullet points to paragraph and then changes synonym and context will completely change then you have to spend double the time to rectify their mistake.
How unhappy you are, you will not get a refund and nobody cares about customer experience.

My experience with TopResume was great. I have never known how to write a good resume. I only know one way and that way wasn't opening many doors for me. However, the resume Tayla wrote for me was top notch. I almost wanted to hire myself lol. I submitted my resume to a couple potential employers and the very next day I was contacted by one interested in me coming to work for them.

I paid Executive Priority Resume Writing Package
Follow-Up Thank You Letter package rewrite base on the review that they provided of how my resume was filtering through the ATS. The understanding was that I should at least double the interview received after the rewrite. When I didn't get any, they said that it doesn't qualify (wtt) and I had to get rude with the representative for them to reconsidered.
People save your money and just do it yourself.
They are a big scam.

I really appreciated the initial cotact and the free resume review that I received. It was because of that review, I saw where I needed to improve on my resume, but really didn't have time, which is why I paid TopResume.com to re-do my Resume. I chose the Resune and Cover-Letter package, which I have found useful in some situations and the cover-letter can be customized accordingly. Furthermore, I like the fact that the people at TopResume.com are still there after the sale for support. As an example, I sent an email to them just asking how long the files they create (which they actually email to you initially) will reside on their servers just in case I need to re-download them. I was told approximately a year. But anyway, like I said, it is nice to know that they are still there until after the sale.

I uploaded my resume to an online job hunting site. I received some interesting feedback from Top Resume about my resume. I took them up on their offer. I imediately was hooked up Frank. He asked me some important specifics a few times and before long, I had a working copy of a very professional cover letter and resume. I was very pleased with the courteous service he gave me. I recommend Top Resume!

I used TopResume to write a professional resume to increase my chances of landing the job that I want and the resumes that their so called experts wrote were horrible, unprofessional and scored very low in resume scoring software that is used by employers.

Either there is a giant difference in service, or the positive ones are fake. I bought a large package with LinkedIn, Cover letter, thank you letter and resume writing.
I sent them two resumes, linked in profiles, my cover letter etc to ensure that they had as much data as possible.
I ended up receiving template letters, a resume that was the wierdest ever with dates all wrong and a total misunderstanding in what it is I do.
The Linked in service was a template that was filled out with the really bad resume.
I ended up spending an entire evening rewriting everything and sending it back with word tracking.
5 days later I receive more-or-less the same package I just sent to them. I wrote back and said that at lease they could fill out the LinkedIn template correctly since I've paid 400 bucks for it. And that was it... never heard from them again.
Don't just don't buy anything from them. They aren't interested in helping. Only to make money.

I paid $249 for their LinkedIn profile, coverletter, and resume. At the cost of $249 and what I received, it wasn't worth the cost. LinkedIn profile was my resume but just in paragraph form which anybody with half a brain could do. If you are mid level career then I would say they do an sub par job. If you are looking to go from an mid level to professional then you are wasting your money. They re-formatted my resume and took away bulletpoints, that's it. Top Resume is a company that will rob you.
