I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I received a first draft of a resume late on day 7 of submitting my resume only after contacting customer service and "Katie Warren" to let them know I had received no contact from a writer. I suggested changes for the second draft. I received the 2nd draft very quickly, but it had typos and not all of my changes were addressed. It just seemed thrown together. If I had it to do over, I would have done more research and probably would have chosen a professional local resume writer with a good reputation.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They over charge, refuse to refund the overcharged amount. The resume template used is severely outdated, with numerous grammatical errors, it is a UK based company, with an. Au domain yet their spelling and grammar is in an American format.
Don't waste your time.

I through USD 170 in the toilet with Top Resume. Their write up resume was useless I can not use it and worse than my original resume. I regret that I contacted them. I will make a complain to BBB for this $#*! hole TopResume $#*!

I was VERY DISPLEASE with the resume I received back from TopResume. The only thing that was changed was format which I could have done with Word resume search, the words were exactly the same and on top of that there were spelling errors. Don't waste your money using TopResume. Go to Word and search resumes. They had the nerve to want to write another resume for me. I hope they were kidding. I have contacted the BBB and eyewitness news because I wanted my money back and topresume would not refund me. They guarantee getting you a interview well I didn't get one interview with the resume they gave me. I used my previous resume and I got a interview with that. Again people don't waste your money using topresume. To top it off they didn't even know my correct name. Not the spelling of my full name they were using the email address name instead of using my name and my name was clearly on the resume.

I'm sorry to hear that you are displeased with our resume. Although in first glance, our resume formats look like other formats you can find online, but the formats are actually thoroughly tested and revised to perform better with Applicant Tracking Systems and hiring managers. There are things that other resume formats don't cover, such as proper font hierarchy, proper title placements, proper use of bullets, and etc. We offered a re-write by another writer because sometimes customers are not happy with the first writer. This was not meant to offend you, but as a way to offer you an alternative writer.

Hired this service for an executive style resume, uploaded my current resume and information for the writer. Once the 1st draft was received I found a flaw for revision in a section and questioned it. The writer responds with: (Well that's the way you have it on your current resume)? Seriously? I paid you for a premium service and you have no ability to take the initiative to fix something that was already wrong on the current resume? What am I paying you for? I received a reworked resume that was designed behind a template that anyone can download online! Don't waste your money for a plagiarised template is all you will get. Cheaper for you to online search the template that you like and do it yourself. I have submitted their resume design and been turned down 5 times already, not even an interview.

BE AWARE! TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I paid about $300 for their services and the first draft they delivered was garbage. The second draft was even worst. There were things that were included in my resume that had nothing to do with my expertise. Also a lot of fluff was added without any context or meaning. I complained to them but they return my full payment. I googled them and saw that they have been reported the Business Bureau and some Scam sites by multiple people.

I submitted a resume that was well-written but was concerned that it didn't get more responses. I paid $249 for the top of the line service. What I got back within 24 hours was a piece of garbage. Literally. Mispellings, grammar errors, things that read like gobbly-gook.It is was apparent that this "service" is a computer that takes your resume and for $249 rearranges it with some modifications that make it clear it is untouched by a human - or even proof-read. STAY AWAY! Or hire them to ensure unemployment.

This is totally fraud. They collected my money and returned me a file after their promised timeline, with lots of mistakes and no professional at all. Their service is absolutely a risk of costumers time and money. Once you placed the order, no refund will be granted, and there is no warranty, and TopResume will send you whatever junk they want. No recommendation at all.

I don't know who you people are giving 5's but this place is a scam! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and then are quick to say that they are busy and have not forgotten about you! During a questionnaire it said I could add files or comments later. Well when I tried to add my cover letter, there was no where to upload it. I emailed support and they said you cannot upload it once the questionnaire is done but you can email it to us. Well I stil have not heard from anyone. Well since that email I am still waiting for something. I am unemployed and thought this would be helpful to land more interviews. I didn't have the money to spend on this service but figured it was a good idea. Obviously I would have been better putting $140 on lottery tickets. There has been no correspondence since the email and they will not refund your money. You will need to go dispute it with your bank. I am watching jobs post and be taken down. Do not use! Do not use! Do not use!

My resume was totally revamped and I was able to get the help I needed. My main issue was underselling myself and my writer was able to fix that by changing the format and wording within the resume.
Best overall value for the service opposed to competitors. They used a system to initially check my resume for errors.

My writer was prompt and worked well with some caveats that I bought to the table regarding my resume. My requests included adding some different industries where I have done Project Management and training in those industries to go along with the 25 years of IT work. While I was ultimately happy with my resume and cover letter that TopResume writer Giacomo worked on with me, what pushed this from 4 stars to 5 was the customer service. Though I had submitted my resume in the third week of the month - and received a reply by the beginning of the fourth week - I didn't see the *email* of that reply until my seven days were almost up (Shakes fist at my personal spam filters!). I was a little distressed that I wouldn't get my full time due to my own error, but I got a hold of Giacomo very quickly, and was informed that he could give me a few extra days; and within two days of back and forth emails, I had a professional quality resume and cover letter. I was confidence that my resume is good enough since I spent a lot of time to make it, revised it million times and no one tell me it was bad up until Karen from TopResume pointed some points from my resume to make it better with a logical explanation. It wasn't my intention to get a review for my resume but I ended up here and I was glad for the feedback, though. I wish I can make a better resume based on her feedback, so thank you so much for the advices.

I was looking for job for almost 2 years. I had couple of interviews but the positions were not really related to my background. After hearing about TopResume through a friend I decided to give it a chance. First I received a free critique on my resume from this company and I was very surprised that the ATS system picked the wrong keywords as my top skills! My resume didnt really show the exact target and direction that I was looking for.
I purchased the Executive Priority package and had my resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn written professionally. The writer was called Ruth and he was very fast and responsive and provided all documents in less than 10 days.
I started applying with my new resume and cover letter on May 25th 2017. I got two great interviews, totally related to my background and I got hired on July 7th 2017!

Having been at a company for over 13 years (before the layoff) I had certainly lost track of the modern day Applicant Tracking Systems and importance social media plays in finding a position with a QUALITY organization. I was very pleased with the documents that Traci at TopResume did for me. She rewrote and reformatted my resume, wrote my cover letter and wrote my LinkedIn page. I constantly received the feedback that the CV I spent time updating was not in the approved 'format'. This evidently meant I couldn't receive spelling and grammar feedback.
So beware, they will update your CV to their 'approved' version but will NOT provide grammar or spelling feedback on what you write in different versions. I'm left with an updated format CV that I'm not confident sending because the content hasn't been vetted - not helpful...
