I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
TopResume has partnered with HighEd Jobs so I thought they might have a clue of what universities are looking for in a Curriculum Vitae. It is written great for business and industry and the person I worked with was responsive to changes but I was not able to communicate my need in a way she could incorporate it.
My old CV which is a mess is getting more replies than the one I paid for! Not worth the time, money and effort if you are looking for a true higher education CV. I imagine it would be great if I were applying for business and industry jobs.
They also offer a 60-day interview guarantee... ROTFL nothing happens in 60 days with Higher Ed.

There were a lot of grammatical errors and sentence structures that didn't make any sense in my first draft that I had to point out to the writer. It seemed like the writer rushed through writing it and just threw stuff together that wasn't appropriate for the sentences. There were random numbers and things I didn't do that were listed on the resume which I also had to point out. I was really disappointed since I paid for a professional service and I will have to spend a lot of time editing it. The first draft edit I had a few days to respond, but the second edit I received at the end of the day on 11/7 and only had until 11/8 to respond. I didn't really think that was fair. I honestly wouldn't use your services again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

A while ago I decided to hire Topresume to rewrite my resume since my previous resume wasn't getting the results I wanted. Story short, recruiters weren't looking at my previous resume, job applications were going into limbo, and my self esteem was taking a hit. After my resume being posted in jobs sites for over a couple of days, over 27 recruiters had looked at my resume, and 4of them have contacted me regarding interviews. I even had a recruiter contacting me for a position that was out of my reach.

I have never disputed a credit card charge before this, but they are straight up committing fraud. Don't do business with them. Better to get like 5 rewrites from people on Upwork for these prices, and at least Upworkers deliver.
Tip for consumers:
I paid a bunch to get it in 48 hours. I'm 120 hours in, and they still haven't even acknowledged me.

After giving all the information that was requested my resume was re-written in a day. The only issue I had was after receiving the new resume, I was told I only had 1-week to get everything squared away. There was no mention of this timeline on their website and I tried to request that they add it so others wouldn't have the same reaction.

My experience with TopResume started out slow but ended with a great experience. The website says you should get your first draft within 5-7 business days but I did not receive my first draft until almost two weeks after I submitted all my materials. After I received my first draft, the process escalated quickly. My resume writer did an EXCELLENT job on my resume and cover letter. I was very pleased and finalized my resume and cover letter within a week after receiving the first draft. I was so impressed I bought the additional package to include my LinkedIn makeover. I was surprised the LinkedIn makeover was just a copy and paste of my resume but it was still better than what it was previously. Overall, I would definitely recommend TopResume - just give yourself plenty of time to go through the process.

I was looking to see what I might be missing in my resume when I worked with them. The first draft was off the old resume attachment that was several years old not the current resume. It was missing alot of information and the formatting was way less professional than I would expect of a paid service and way less than I demand from marketing professionals.
The second revision -- format still poor at best. Grammer issues, took all the detail out of my resume and were missing locations of employment
The third revision -- still terrible. I paid for a resume rewrite that I have to rework to use. I am way better off with my old resume.
They might be okay for your first resume out of school. But it was a complete waste of money from my point of view.

Top company. Definitely trustworthy. If for whatever reason your unsatisfied with your first draft yohr writter will work with you non stop till your vision is archieved! I recommend the ceo profesional package since you'll want the best of the best. When I first came across this site I figured it was just something for me to scan through really quick. I think your experience will largely depend on the writer you get. I bought the most expensive package and did not have crazy requirements at all since I am a senior in college. The writer promised me one deadline but did not get my documents until the deadline. This document was fine, but clearly just copied and pasted from some template. There were grammar errors with punctuation, totally incorrect information. It looked like a computer program had automatically created it rather than a person. Then when I asked for revision, it has been over a week and I have not gotten anything. Today was the deadline to request revisions and I am sure sometime tonight she will send me the documents knowing I can no longer ask for revisions. It absolutely breaks my heart because this was prime time to apply for jobs and the whole month has now gone by. In the end, I cannot just go and spend another 250 to hire a company as I am a student without a job. This was an investment for me and I feel completely ripped off. I wish I had read the negative reviews before. If I were you, find a company that offers guarantees or has a refund policy or at least allows for more time between revisions etc. This company has made me totally distraught.

I am VP-level digital media sales professional with 10+ years of experience focused on getting a position in North America. To attract the attention of enterprise hiring managers I purchased the executive package. Unfortunately - I was totally disappointed with the service and work product.
The first resume writer I was paired with (Mason) provided a first draft that was rife with misspelled words, bad tense uses, and poorly reflected how my past experience might transfer to the new positions I shared for consideration examples.
When I expressed my concern (first via online form - which was ignored completely and then via phone a few days later) I was given a new writer and offered free phone consultation.
I scheduled a phone call w/ my new writer (Susan) who was considerably better than Mason (less misspellings) and a 1st draft was delivered.
During our phone consultation - the new writer was totally uninspired. Both her and Mason sounded as if English was not their native language and neither seemed knowledgeable about how to communicate how my experience would transfer to the positions I was seeking to apply for.
After weeks of round and round again - I got so frustrated that I took what they delivered and made all the changes myself. It was essentially what I needed to do anyway - and saved me no time or effort to work with a "professional resume writer".
For any busy professional - looking for a professionals touch - I don't recommend you use them.
