I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
I will not waste more time on this service describing their quality of service. I paid to solve a problem and got new problems pointing out simple mistakes made in their work.

This was a total and complete waste of money. First of all, I didn't receive my first draft to review until a week after originally promised. Second, once I received the first draft, I realized that this person who was supposed to be a seasoned expert resume writer did not have a clue about the industry I am in. The information provided in the resume was misleading at best and in most cases, completely inaccurate. Some of the text didn't make any sense. Given the apparent lack of understanding of my industry, I reached out to customer service to request a quick phone chat with the resume writer in hopes of salvaging the project and my money. They indicated that this would be impossible because the person is "not available by phone". They also indicated they would have to search for another "expert" writer who could talk on the phone but it would cost an extra $50. What? Seriously? I suspect the person assigned to my project was in India or the Philippines with limited experience where English was not his primary language. At that point I decided to cut my losses and finalize the resume on my own. Stay away!

It's not easy to see yourself as others see you. I have always written my own resumes but have always been frustrated that I could never make myself appear as dynamic as I felt I really am. I'm much too modest for that and tend to under-sell myself. It took a fresh set of eyes at Top resume to draw out the best in me. I only had to submit 2 of my self-written resumes to my Top resume writer to get the result I've always been looking for. She re-wrote, condensed and formatted it into a very compelling page and a half document that reveals to the reader my skills, talents, and accomplishments in a way that I never could. My experience with Top resume was smooth, professional and unhurried, It took only two drafts and two days with the writer communicating with me to update information and make changes when needed. I also received an excellent cover letter with the package I invested in. I had the choice of targeting specific employers or industries but elected to go with a rather generic resume heading which I could target myself at particular companies or industries. I could do this because my resume was a Word document and easy to edit. You wont mess up the format by editing it yourself. I highly recommend Top resume.

Daniel customer services is the best 10/10 but for EMEA London customer the phone line closes daily 4pm london time, no good for enquiries after 4pm london time
uk team should be able to leverage on USD customer service team phoning the number in UK ( deviation of call to NYC not to an automated answering machine.....................
this has hapepen for the last 2.5 years ..........I used the services of top CV 4 times in 2.5 years........i know what i am talking about

I though my previous resume was good until I received my first draft from TopResume, I was so impressed. I can honestly say that I feel much comfortable applying for jobs, and I wish I can go back and use my current resume from TopResume to apply for previous jobs I wanted in the past. As the reply from Jenna of top resume states that this matter is resolved by their customer service... BEWARE that this is NOT resolved. They have not contacted me for a FULL REFUND as I believe they can at least do... READERS: as you can see they promise something and never fulfill it. I have no choice but to contact the state Attorney general and other agencies to inform and involve them of this unfair and fraudulent business practice.

I had ordered the following services from topresume.com on Dec 15 2017:
1 x cover letter, 1 x standard resume, 1 x LinkedIn service, 1 x expedited 48-hour turnaround with up to two revisions within the revision period Dec 19th to Dec 26th 2017. Total amount paid: $269
I paid for expedite service (48-hour) turnaround but did not hear back from the resume writer for 3-4 days so I emailed him and then received the resume re-written but it needed serious editing. Emailed back the writer same day and did not hear back from him till Dec 26 saying that he was out of his desk. This is so unprofessional and as a result I have lost precious time and money which is vital for Job searching. Due to this inconvenience, I have not been able to apply for jobs. Very unprofessional service and will NEVER recommend to anyone.
Have already complaint to BBB. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I purchased the Executive Priority resume writing package from TopResume which included a resume, cover letter and my LinkedIn profile. I was matched with an executive writer named Brandon who had experience writing resumes in my field of work. Brandon was very thorough. He was able to pull my "new" and "improved" resume together using "key" words, replacing my "passive language/doing" with "action language/achieving" which in turn, shows the employer that I am result driven... not just task based. The visual appearance and organization of my new resume was amazing.
