I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
Received the services I purchased in the correct timeline. However, the format was not compatible for Apple devices despite my requesting that a universal format be utilized. Most significantly, I've had very negative feedback from recruiters and hiring managers with the content of my new resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn page. Even people I've worked with say they don't adequately communicate my skills and experience. The company offers no way to request a partial or full refund or contact them in any way. I posted this review on other review sites as well. The company contacted me to correct the issues by assigning a different person to rewrite the documents. Having no trust in the value of wasting additional time and effort working with someone else utilizing the same methods as the first representative, I requested a refund. The company refused to refund my money. So, I've wasted time, money, and still have useless documents. Please don't utilize this organization.
This company helped take my resume from middle of the road to stand out AWESOME! I now have nothing holding me back from going after jobs I was previously too scared to apply for in the past due to my lackluster resume.

TopResume does not provide a product as advertised. They have writers writing resumes that have no idea about your profession or the field you are looking to go to. I would NEVER use this service. I received a substandard resume and when I addressed it with customer service they did not want to know what I had to say. NEVER NEVER NEVER use this service if you want a professional resume!

I called in and spoke to a young lady. She was unprofessional, immature, and unprepared. Her questions and commentary were borderline argumentative, and trite. She did not represent your organization as a professional company, but more so as a group of immature college kids launching a startup. I then asked to speak to a manager. A young man got on the phone and while he was more polished than this young lady I spoke to, he was indecisive, and noncommittal. He referred me back to the original young lady for my contact information. I have done further research and became concerned about the quality, reliability, accountability, and professionalism of your organization. Due to many bad reviews from multiple websites, I have chosen to go with another firm. I requested they remove me from their contact list.
If you look at reviews, you will also see positive reviews from TopResume employees trying to offset the negatives. These are not real customers, and are fake reviews.
I chose to go to Fiverr to find a resume writer. There are literally HUNDREDS of certified, professional resume writers willing and able. Be sure to look for those based in the Country you are in (Im in US, not Nigeria). The turnaround time was better, the quality and professionalism is better, and the product was better. $50 compared to $200 was a good deal for me. In some cases, you get what you pay for, but for me and my money, I will use my contact I found through Fiverr instead of ever using TopResume.

I requested that I recieve my resume sooner. It gave me the options to receive in 48-hours. I received first draft in 3 days, submitted revisions and didnt hear back for a week after sending multiple emails. On top of that the revision that the initial person sent me on what I should change weren't adhered to so it was a total hypocrisy. The 2nd draft is nothing sharp or intense honestly looks like a highs school student wrote it and its 2 full pages? I am not sure about any other experienced recruitment/staffing poeple but as a recruiter in the past i would never look at a second page? Yeh... and to boot customer sercice just kept asking over and over again what the problem was... i had to explain myself so many times. Complete waste of money! Don't get the expedite, it will probably take you longer.

Working with a 10 year old resume is an additional handicap. TopResume spiffed up my dated resume and cover letter to make them more 21st century. They were very helpful and the fee was reasonable.

Good communication, prompt response.
However capitalization errors, sentence structure and order of words required editing. Grammerly found over 40 errors on a two page resume.

Absolutely disappointing. 150 follars later all i get is resume that just has sections moved around and bullet pointed. Not to mention that first draft wasnt even relevant to my expertise. Abosolutely NOT satisfied with the service Top Resume provided. Objectives mentioned in the form that i filled in the beginning of the process NOT ACHIEVIED.
