I'm blown away by how fast (and thorough) TopResume's writers are. Job hunting is a job in and of itself and having someone assist with resume/cover letter writing takes a lot of the stress out of it. Many of them complain at how much money they spent $300+ for their resume service only to get back documents with errors. The reason this is so is because Top Resume collects $200-300+ per order but only pays their writers $20-25 depending upon if it is a resume only or resume and cover letter package. It can often take 2 hours or more to complete the resume when you take into consideration the revision period and how many revisions clients often request. At that price point, writers feel rushed in order to crank out enough resumes to make a living. It is frustrating because the clients have no idea how poorly the resume writers are treated and take all of their frustration out on them. If Top Resume wants to remain in business and provide a quality service, they should at least be paying $75 to $100 per and you can guarantee that the quality of work provided is going to be so much better for your customers.

Learned about TopResume through Glassdoor. Visited the website and read all the reviews and sample resumes. I searched Google and found a $100 discount coupon. The package I purchased included 1 x cover letter, 1 x standard resume, 1 x customized thank you letter, 1 x linkedin service, 1 Resume Posting Service and expedited 48-hour turnaround. It costs $374 after discounts and was worth every penny. I had two phone screens with my original resume over two weeks and I've had four phone screens over the next two weeks with my TopResume. The latter job offers are significantly more than I currently make and now my dilemma is deciding between them. Not a bad problem to have.
