I had the pleasure of working with Tim. He was very professional and gave me great advice. I received my final resume on the 28th of June 2017 and landed my government job on the 28th of August 2017! I know that was due to Tim's re-write of my resume. I was very skeptical of the process at first but took a chance since I was receiving no call backs on my old resume. Best decision I ever made and money well spent. I have read the negative comments and everyone has their own experience. I live in Russia, Moscow. And now i am in a search for a new job. I had my CV, which i composed myself. This CV was in Russian and in English language. I am looking for a job in foreign company, here, not in Russian one, so english version of CV was very important to me. I am in search starting september 2016 and still didn't find a job. So i decided to use TopResume service to create for me new CV. There were to reasons:
1) I wanted the professional CV created by the real experts who really knows and understand the labour market.
2) I wanted my CV to be created by people, to whom the english language is a native one. So my CV could look really NATURAL (how it is really supposed to look).
So i got it from TopResume team. And i really like everything about my CV now.

The initial communication seemed intelligent and thoughtful, however the rewrite of my resume was awful. The person who did the resume only included the last 5 years of my work experience. I have 15+ years of experience (which is noted in my headline)! I had bulIeted lists; the rewrite was simply the bulleted lists written out with semi-colons to separate them. My role has a number of technical skills. None of those skills were highlighted anywhere on the resume. The cover letter was the most poorly written letter I have ever seen in my life. It seemed as if the person authoring the letter did not have a solid command of basic English. This is an absolute scam. Please, please do NOT waste your money and please tell anybody you know to avoid TopResume.

I have been out of the job market for over 10 years and haven't had to redo my resume in over 12. I had a very bad experience as Top resume isn't providing the service I was looking for ( CV Design / Lay out) and refuse to refund me. They did an unbelievably great job on my resume and cover letter. They asked questions about myself, the jobs I was looking to apply for, and some of my work achievements so they could put me in the best position possible to succeed. The day I received my finalized resume and cover letter I applied for a position around 10:30am, and by 2:30pm I had an email requesting a phone screening. The second resume that was redone for me still didn't work as I was not able to get noticed now that I was laid off from the employer I was trying to get a job to leave. So no I wouldn't use this service again it was a waste of money.
