I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. I was worried that it would be difficult for my writer to create a cohesive whole, but Allen did a phenomenal job. Drafts were sent quickly, he was so communicative and helpful, and we completed the process by draft 2 and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this service.
I regret wasting my money on their "service". There are no "professional writers" on the platform - someone takes the CV you provide them as a starting point, puts it through ChatGPT and send you whatever it regurgitates. The second Draft they created was even worse.
I'm happy with my decision. The turnaround was very quick and I was impressed with the results. I purchased the "Executive Priority" package which included a resume rewrite, cover letter, and LinkedIn template. A writer was assigned within a few hours of my purchase, and once it was assigned to a writer, Elizabeth, she turned the first draft of the resume around within a few hours which I wasn't expecting. I was primarily concerned about the summary I'd written at the beginning of the resume, and making the bullets/achievements for each of my past jobs more succinct. She was able to rewrite the summary and sections in such a way that my experience and achievements are highlighted and will stand out better. It really makes me look good and represents my experience and what I'm going for much better! I had some feedback and questions which I placed in the document with comments, and she sent a second draft with edits and answers to my questions quickly. You can work with/go back and forth with your writer to come up with a draft you're satisfied with for a week.
I initially discovered TopResume through Glassdoor.com; I uploaded my resume to Glassdoor, and was offered a free resume evaluation from TopResume. I scoped it out and it looked legit, so I gave it a whirl. The free eval turnaround was quick and the results were thorough. I especially liked that they ran my resume through an applicant tracking system resume scanning software like most of the big companies use. They show you what the scan shows potential employers about you, so you can get an idea of how to adjust keywords in your resume for different results. As part of the resume rewrite, my writer adjusted keywords to make sure that the auto scanning software would paint the right picture of my experience and what I'm striving for in the future.
Overall, a great experience. I was surprised by the quality of the results and the turnaround time.

STAY AWAY! LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I don't know why, but I didn't listen to the negative reviews and totally WASTED my money. I went full in with the most expensive package because of a job I wanted to apply to and have an impressive resume. WHAT A JOKE! The format of the resume was came in jumbled and the content was worse. There were typos, misspellings, and phrases that didn't even make sense. They took my old resume and re-organized it using my own wording. I could have done that! The LinkedIn page was really a joke too. It was just a copy of my "new" resume--typos and all. So WHY should I pay extra for them to copy and paste the same text for the LinkedIn page? When I asked for my money back, they refused. They wouldn't even give me a number/person to call. They tried to redo the resume, but I'm not impressed. The format is still pretty horrible and the writing was the same. I really think this is someone in a basement taking people's money. STAY AWAY! I researched multiple companies as I was looking for that extra special shine to my resume to get it looked at by perspective employers. I ended up using TopResume because I was offered a free consultation and the feedback I received was surprising and a lot of thought had gone into the recommendations.
I purchased the mid-grade package for the resume and cover letter. I was assigned someone who took my resume and asked me some questions which I responded to that day. I received my draft one the due date (early would have been nice but I understand I probably wasn't the only resume she was working on).
Immediately I was taken aback by the format and errors within. While I'm seeking employment in Upper Management, the resume seemed tailored to a professional looking for a clerical position and highlighted that I could do payroll and things that I don't personally do but my staff do. It was filled with what I thought were buzzwords and the actual part that said ANYTHING about my current job experience was very limited and she had erased 6 years of my previous employment history before my most recent job.
I chalked this up to her being the professional but having spent a lot of money on something I needed to work I questioned the layout and resume in general and received a bit of a standoffish reply about having created hundreds of resumes.
My perception of the resume was not the only issue. There were errors that were obvious - cover letter said I had 15+ years experience while resume said I had 20+ years experience. Mind you the resume I had submitted had nowhere near 20 years experience since I'm only 29 years old and clearly I wasn't working when I was 9. My company name was spelled incorrectly and the town was also incorrect. This was just plain sloppy and although it was a first draft I immediately felt like I waited the entire period of time until the "due date" to receive a resume that was just thrown together with absolutely no thought process.
I ended up going through a round of edits and was still unhappy but I wasn't about to bring up the layout or format again since it got me nowhere the first time. I've applied to at least 25 places of business and have received very minimal feedback. I finally approached a headhunter and he very much disliked my resume. He said there was no way it was a clear indication of who I was. I've since created a new resume on my own and the $219 I have spent is now down the drain.
In closing, use as your own risk. I had high hopes but in the end was left disappointed.
