So let me start with the bad. Which of course, the price. It is expensive, but so is pretty much anywhere you get your resume done. It is actually quite a bit cheaper than some other places I saw.

I thought the person who did my resume did a fantastic job. I am in the culinary field and she had a great understanding of how to sell my good points. There were a few revisions but they were fixed perfectly. A+ from me

Multiple spelling and grammar errors. Literally cut and paste sections, word for word, from my original resume. Seemed very rushed. I felt like they received my money and rushed through the process very quickly to get rid of me. How does a 'professional' writing service submit a document without proof reading? Unacceptable! Very disappointed.

Fast, responsive and thorough. I had a great experience working with TopResume. After completing a PhD and striking out on the academic job market, I needed help re-branding myself and selling my skills to a new field. TopResume made that easy; I feel like I didn't pay nearly enough for the amount and quality of service I received. I would recommend this company to fellow job seekers. Their service is prompt and courteous. Their resume writer was also very professional and at the same time maintained a good human touch. I haven't yet got a job, but it's only been a week and I am getting more calls from recruiters than before.

Do not waste your time or your money with this company. I usually never write reviews however, this experience was awful so wanted to warn others. I spent over $400 on their services and got back a resume that looked like a high school student wrote it. They kept throwing different writers at my resume, and each one came back worse than the other. They have no knowledge on how to format or write a resume, it was very entry level. I have over 20 years experience in my field with 2 Masters Degree and my resume looked like I was applying for a $10 job. All the information that I provided them, skills, experience etc was not shown in the resume, even after several times of telling them that this information was missing. Horrible customer service, their customer service rep called me due to me wanting to speak with someone about the issues, and she was rude. They will not give you a refund, their quality is horrible, and the writers have no clue what they are doing.

Warren transformed a stale document to better show off the skills and accomplishments achieved. He provided excellent advice on techniques and content to avoid to limit potential filtering for age. Due to the highly specialized nature of my experience, I don't expect my search to be an overnight success. I am, however, confident that I now have a resume that will support finding the right fit.

Do not trust those fake five star reviews. This company is a total scam. I've purchased a package from them and got nothing. And now fighting with them to get my money back.

I exchanged multiple versions of my resume and cover letter with my resume writer. He was responsive to my requests and provided changes in a timely manner. It might be nice to have a little more time to review and make edits than 7 days when you order the executive package that includes linkedin since we're exchanging more documents at the same time.

I am currently a Director in Student Services in higher education but wanted to go a different direction with my job search. I worked with Sara W., she was fantastic. Communication was spot on and was able to get my resume geared to the direction I wanted to go, out of higher education. She asked questions and was able to decipher what I was saying with out me having to go in to long dissertations.
I have my 3 adult kids ready to submit their resumes for a upgrade to help them get the interviews they are looking for.

Her suggestions made absolutely no sense. It was like she didn't even look at it. She suggested focusing on "results" instead of "actions" which I agree with, but then she sites, literally, a result I had (sales growth) as an example of what I was doing wrong. She must have not read it or been completely incompetent.

I am a marketing professional with more than a decade of experience and I paid for a resume to be written to help me advance my career. Not only in over 1 month's time did I not receive any communication other than an intro email and a resume draft written by what could be 5th grade level, they offered to reassign me to another writer with the guarantee it'd be done in 3 days or less. It's been 5 days since that guarantee and I still haven't heard from a new writer. I had to call each time to find out the status, or lack of status, only to be ended by someone named rachel who is arguable the rudest customer service person I've come in conversation with.

This place is the biggest scam in the industry. I had questions about it before purchasing, but if i can save you or another person from making this company another penny, my job is achieved.

I recently had my resume and cover letter reworked by TopResume. I received the final draft on a Monday and spent time using it to apply for jobs and updating my resume on different job sites. In the first 10 days I had some calls from recruiters and three interviews set up. As well, after receiving the final draft, I read an article on what employers look for in soft skills, I was happy to learn that TopResume did an excellent job of incorporating these soft skills into my resume by the language they used. I would recommend TopResume to everyone!

The person I was assigned to for my review was pretty helpful. He submitted my first draft within 2 days and was pretty hands on with any concerns I had. At one point it took him 3 days to get back to me, which is a pretty long time considering you have only 7 days after a resume is submitted to finish any edits you might need. However, he was more than willing to assist me past the due date to help me with any changes I needed. I've only experienced one reviewer so I cannot say anything about the rest of the people they worked with but mine was pretty good.
