Extremely disappointed and angry with the lack of service provided and the final product. The ultimate goal should be a very high quality product (resume) that leads to a new position for the customer. I just don't see that approach. Rather, I see a up-sell model where to get a high quality product, the customer is forced to continue to add to their sunk cost of the initial spend. Specifically, creating a resume for someone requires direct and dual communication (phone calls) rather than just email exchanges and questionnaires. Those are decent starts, but you need phone call interviews so writers can understand the customer and write a truly good resume. Additionally, the time it took to make this resume was atrocious. It took several weeks to get drafts done and about 3 months in total and only ended due to both sides giving up. Frankly, I request a refund and have requested one on the phone. When I did, I was told things would improve but they did not.

I was very skeptical at first but the way my representative worked with me and understood what my objective was, everything was done within hours... Just blew me away! I am extremely please with Armand's professionalism and quick work ethic to accomplish all in such a minimal amount of time.

I used TopResume's review service which was free on a job board website. They noticed some areas that needed improvement in my resume, and although I am a good writer, I knew it needed some polishing. Thanks to TopResume, within a week of receiving my final draft, I was able to secure a new position with a Fortune 500 company. The interviewers commented on my skills and accomplishments in my resume and were impressed. I fully believe without TopResume's assistance, I would not have been able to grab the attention of the recruiters. I would highly recommend them to others.

I thought my resume looked good before using top resume's service, and I have gotten a few job offers without them but I felt they made my resume pop aesthetically better than I could myself. I used their exec package at a discounted rate they offered and was pleased with the end product. Ask a lot of questions and make them earn their fee and it will be worth your money and time!

I don't usually write reviews or complaints but I just want to help people like me who wanted a professionally written resume. Jennifer J wrote my resume. She misspelled the word instructor and she submitted the resume without correcting the errors that I pointed out. The staffing agency told me that the skills page needs to be rewritten and the second page is completely useless. I now have to redo my resume and I cannot get a refund because I only purchased the $149 or basic package. I seriously wasted money on this. Please hire writers who can spell or are more thorough with their work.

Katie Warren reviewed my resume. At first, I did not agree with her comments, but I considered which side of the glass I viewed it from. Once I put myself in the shoes of the person screening resumes, I said hmmm, makes sense.
She noticed that I talk a lot about what I do rather than what I've achieved. For me that was the icing on the cake if not the batter itself...

TopResume did a great job re-doing my resume. They took my background and really turned it into a professional document that I am proud to pass along to future employers. They also did some research into my former employers to make sure they were accurately representing my past experience. I would recommend them again to a friend! There was a slight issue at the beginning with timing of my first draft, but once that was sorted out, everything went smoothly.

They did a resume analysis for me. Based on that I bought the $129 package. After a week, I got a resume back which was a 90% cut and aspe of what I had submitted to them. They never used any of the additional materials I sent. They didn't even fix what they found in their own analysis.

The service is a very bd job. Most of their dollars are spent in slick marketing and their writers are not good (at least the one which did mine). They offered to put me with a more experienced writer, but I just didn't have any patience to deal with these scam artist. I knew I would be going back and forth with so much of my own time spend on it that I am better off writing the resume myself which is what did and it turned out great!

Stay away from these guys and don't give your hard earned money.

TopResume really impressed me with the work they did! I got a resume writer very quickly! My resume writer was extremely professional and blew me away with the resume he delivered! Not only that but he answered all my questions during the phone consultation. I've booked up two straight weeks of interviews and it looks like more will follow. I have no doubt that TopResume will help me get back on my feet with a job! These guys are magicians with resumes!

I found TopResume on a government job website offering free resume critique. However, their critique was more insightful and better written than the first grade resume draft they sent me today (I think they had real professional writer write my resume critique) I honestly don't believe that they can improve on the first draft they send me. And as they polished up these reviews, I'm sure most people won't get to see this real review. I paid $300 for a resume, cover letter and online posting, to TopResume the snake oil merchants.

During my search for a new position, one of the websites I was using offered a free review of my resume. I accepted but did not expect much, it's free. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the feedback. It was great! I was given advice about visual presentation and organization. I was provided with specific examples about passive language versus active language, as well as my employment and education history. Most importantly, they shared information about digital readiness. I had no idea. TopResume provided expert advice that is invaluable.

I got a quick turnaround on my resume rewrite. Tracy was responsive on all input. It did not take long from her initial rewrite. We went through a few drafts with the final 2 versions mostly cosmetic. She answered all my questions and did good work.

It looked cleaner and more creative, without being distracting. The writer sends you a first draft and you send your feedback. She answered all my questions, even if they were seemingly obvious. Remember they can only incorporate the information you provide, so make sure to be thorough. I'm very pleased with the result.

Terrible Service. Resume is worse than original. Covers letter is even worse. Looks like they copy and paste form templates. Messages are delivered 3- 4 am. most likely service is India. Cancelling and getting a refund is even more difficult have to go to credit card company to dispute

Simple, fast, and easy! They delivered a top-notch revised resume of mine in seven days, for which I had been using for twenty years, and the newly updated resume has been delivering more phone activity as compared to my old resume. Thanks for your assistance! John:>)

I was so excited when TopResume send me some critics and recommended to use the resume writing services to make my resume look better and stand in the market. But unfortunately its been 2+ weeks I have posted my resume and not even a single response received. Not sure if there are issues with the format or it didn't cover everything that it suppose to.

Had a sudden career change and had to update my 10 year old resume. Quick service and turnaround. At first it looked and read kind of funny, then after doing a bit of research, I found it was optimized for the search engines recruiters use. Made a couple of changes with the writer and it came out good. Hope I don't ever need to use it again, but after 16 years things have changed, and they were able to get my resume where it gets pulled up by recruiters - it was worth the cost.

Do not waste your time and money. I received what appeared to be a computer written resume via email seven business days after I paid for it with several date and reference errors. It had a deadline of the day prior to submit my corrections or they would consider the order closed! I'm out $250.00 and a week and a half of opportunities went by while I waited for this piece of trash. Do you research online prior to picking a resume service. I wish I would have.

I took up the offer of a resume review through Glassdoor with a healthy dose of scepticism. What I got was a very pleasant surprise. Clear considered feedback from an individual that read my resume and offered constructive ideas and the reasons behind the suggested changes. The technical writer assigned to me was very prompt and professional. I will definitely consider using them again to update my resume. I am in a waiting period regarding the need to rewrite. If they are truly an organization of their word will be determined later. However, thus far I am very pleased.
