It's not easy to see yourself as others see you. I have always written my own resumes but have always been frustrated that I could never make myself appear as dynamic as I felt I really am. I'm much too modest for that and tend to under-sell myself. It took a fresh set of eyes at Top resume to draw out the best in me. I only had to submit 2 of my self-written resumes to my Top resume writer to get the result I've always been looking for. She re-wrote, condensed and formatted it into a very compelling page and a half document that reveals to the reader my skills, talents, and accomplishments in a way that I never could. My experience with Top resume was smooth, professional and unhurried, It took only two drafts and two days with the writer communicating with me to update information and make changes when needed. I also received an excellent cover letter with the package I invested in. I had the choice of targeting specific employers or industries but elected to go with a rather generic resume heading which I could target myself at particular companies or industries. I could do this because my resume was a Word document and easy to edit. You wont mess up the format by editing it yourself. I highly recommend Top resume.

I am okay with the overall look & feel of the new resume but not completely satisfied. In creative marketing, I wanted a clean look. However, the content of my resume is definitely more professional when it is rewritten.
It is too soon for me to evaluate if the new resume (& the cover letter) grabs the attention of recruiters as I just got it done over the holidays. I hope so.

I really liked this service. You have to provide them with the necessary information and they create a custom resume. I used mine for a specific job and in the end, it looked very strong. It looked cleaner and more creative, without being distracting. The writer sends you a first draft and you send your feedback. She answered all my questions, even if they were seemingly obvious. Remember they can only incorporate the information you provide, so make sure to be thorough. I'm very pleased with the result.

For the sake of resetting my resume with a clean format alone - I have no regrets about utilizing TopResume's services. More importantly perhaps, it was invaluable to have fresh eyes on this to take it to the next level. I hesitate to give a 5 star rating because, while previous edits were quickly corrected, one final yet crucial point wasn't included in my final draft. Overall, however, I was easily able to correct this on my own with help from a fuller version I was provided.
