Richard G. Was an excellent match for my resume rewrite and the makeover of my Linkedin page. His formatting, narrative and bullet points went beyond my expectations. He asked all the right questions, took the time to think about how to word certain sections and was extremely detail-oriented. I rated him and TopResume before with a 10 and would not hesitate to recommend TopResume to others.

My initial feelings were mixed until I began to work with my writer Julia R.
I was very impressed with her level of knowledge and expertise. Top Resume helped to present me in a light that was indicative of years of experience while also wanting to venture into a different career path. It was clear from the onset that my writer was very perceptive and had the ability to represent me clearly and succinctly. I would recommend you to give them a try! It is especially beneficial when you opt for a phone consultation.

Cut and paste buzz phrase resume was worthless. Critique was the same. English is my primary language and the writer should be able to communicate in English. My accomplishments were in technology area's they had had no clue on what to do but to follow the deadlines and give me bogus accomplishments.it was truly the worst experience ever.

I bought a really nice resume template design on the Creative Market (it's the "Resume Template 5 Pages/CV" design by Quality Resume... look it up it's pretty lovely). It's part of the reason I got my current job... because of how well-designed my resume was and it showed that I had an eye for design in the content realm.

Flash forward to this review I get from Laura Morgan (not knowing I had even submitted my resume for review). My feedback..."We've all been told that looks don't matter as much as substance, but in the case of your resume, this just isn't true. I found your design to be visually uneven. The appearance is not polished..."

Um, ok. Does this girl even understand design? Ok, I guess my resume doesn't look good based on this service, but she said the bullet points were great! Did she even look at it?

I would advise not using this service. I don't think their advice is legit. They rely on robots and not the actual human eye.

They did write my resume. I will grant them that. However, I feel very much like they have a script they stick with and my phone call was less than helpful. Every time I asked a specific question, they responded with a general answer that gave me absolutely no clarity. For the price I paid, I would have expected much more assistance with my specific concerns, and far less jargon and babbling.

I worked with writer, Armand F., who was an absolute pleasure. He was friendly, polite, professional and very efficient. He delivered my resume and cover letter much earlier than the anticipated deadline and was super quick in getting the revisions done to tailor them to my specific requests to be sure the final result was exactly what i wanted. I would definitely recommend TopResume and greatly appreciate the great work that Armand did.

I love my final resume. With my decades of mismatched jobs, my writer brought it all into focus in a way I never could have. So glad I did it. My only regret is that, despite paying for the top level of service, the process took a couple of weeks to complete. Kinda put the breaks on my job hunt. But now I am confident that I will get better results from my resume submissions.

I used Top Resume to revamp my resume in both content and format. Their process for writing and the way they engaged with me made the whole experience very positive and efficient. Having seven days to complete the project from beginning to end forced accountability and decision making on both sides. Im extremely pleased with the outcome and Id definitely use them again.

I received my document(s) one day late. The first draft was well formatted however, as per the guidelines in the first e-mail I was more than welcome to leave comments, questions and suggestions. I did so, and not one of my comments or questions were answered. My final draft contained the same spelling and grammar mistakes as the first draft submitted to me by the writers who's name is Misty. Overall, I payed around $200, for a resume that I still need to do basic spell check on and do an overall re-vamp. I would not use Top Resume's services again and I wished I would have used another resume writing service with a more competitive price.

I needed help to get my resume updated and also formatted in the best possible way. I relocated (inter-company) from Europe a couple of years back and didn't need my resume so far. No that I do, they helped me getting it formatted and changed a lot of language to be more appealing. I'm very happy with the outcome and think I have better chances with this version.

I used TopResume to do a much needed overhaul of my resume. The service was easy, fast with really awesome results. The initial draft of my resume was pretty solid and arrived within a few days. It was based on the three previous versions that I gave to them for background. After a couple of iterations, the end result was top notch. Top notch work. Very professional correspondence. The resume writer contacted me almost immediately, conducted a phone interview to gather my information and made a personal connection. My resume and LinkedIn profile was completed in a day! I am EXTREMELY pleased with the final product. Well worth the investment!

Where should I start? I don't think my resume writer understood what I actually do for work and didn't bother asking me any questions to clear that up. Therefore, the resume she made for me described a job that I don't do. On top of that, the resume so was convoluted with so many words and redundancies. It just didn't make any sense. Sucks.

I ordered the premium package. First off, the work was late and there was NO communication that it would be late. I found out by logging in to check the status AFTER the due date. Then, the work arrived with grammatical and form errors that a junior high student would notice in proofreading- failure to capitalize words, etc. There were also requests for me to provide information that was readily available on my LinkedIn profile which was allegedly reviewed as part of the process. The LinkedIn profile update was basically for me to cut and paste the resume info? What? Makes NO sense. Attached to that was a cut and paste set of LinkedIn best bets- 100% of which were already in place on my profile. I messaged them and waited for a response to my request for a call to discuss my disappointment with the results- still waiting for a reply. I would not use this service again. Maybe I was assigned the wrong person as my professional writer- I won't be recommending them

I fell for the initial review, which included suggestions that made sense to me. $180 later the resume presented was a complete work of fiction that altered my experience beyond recognition--including 20 years of experience in a position I have never worked. The initial thoughtful suggestions were not included, and in fact my resume received the opposite treatment. I was told that as a career changer I must include 'buzz words' in my resume to get past scanning software. The cover letter was a joke--again making sweeping statements about an accomplished career I have not had. Don't waste your money.
