I had a great experience working with TopResume. I'm so glad I chose them to work with my resume! April did an amazing job! My resume improved a lot! Also, during the process to gather information for her, I was able to identify achievements that I did and that was very useful for my interviews. I received my resume back suspiciously quick. The resume writer simply reformatted what I had and just about used the same text from my original resume. Any new text had plenty of typos. There was also no real familiarity with my field, despite their promise that I would be paired with an "executive writer" in the "top 10% of our network" with knowledge of my industry. This site seems like a resume mill using shortcuts to churn out resumes as quickly as possible. Do yourself a favor and don't use.

Great service and very impressed with the overall work. Feedback I have been getting from friends and industry contacts have commented how great my new resume is compared to what it was before. The upgraded LinkedIN profile as part of the package I choose was great and keeping in contact with my assigned resume writer was a easy and a pleasure to work with. I paid top résumé to help update and reformat my resume and cover letter. After I applied to over 100 jobs. I received no responses from this postings. Confused I ran the new resume through their resume review system to see how the new resume stood out. And it was worse than my original. After reaching out for assistance the only option they gave me was to pay them again for the same service. They also denied the 30 guarantee they advertise everywhere. Claiming that it only apples to the upper tiers.
This was a terrible experience and it seems I'm just out of money on this one.

I recently left my job of almost 20 years and quickly found out you don't go introduce yourself with a firm handshake because you saw a help wanted sign anymore. What I thought was a good resume quickly got kicked out of the applicant pool by robots that don't even know me! Soooo I looked online and came across TopResume, I gave it a try and I honestly wish I would have signed up a long time ago. It was easy and the final outcome is a totally professional resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile that "the job robots" approve of. It's been a couple of days and I only attached the resume in 2 places so far and my inbox is full of real people reaching out to interview me. I recommend this to anyone including the professionals who already have a resume.

My first resume writer didn't seem to understand that I was an executive level position looking to move my resume from a very tactical perspective to something that highlighted my leadership across multiple teams, strategy, and leading organizations. We went back and forth multiple times until I had to request a different writer. When I did get the new writer, he understand exactly what I was looking for and helped me to provide him the information required to turn this into a resume that I could submit for director/VP level roles. I was very impressed with the final product, but getting there was painful. TopResume, was very professional and their customer service, once they were aware, was professional and very expeditious. I felt like they really wanted to serve my needs and truly found someone who was a better fit. The end product was great!

I'm a graphic designer and decided to use these services to help take my career a step farther. The first one that was written for me didn't get me 1 call back or interview, so I emailed back and ask that it be re-wrote like the guarantee. Then it was disclaimed they would assign a better writer, but my cover letter wasn't included in the re-write, a year later and I have not had any luck or success with the resume, no new job offers! I would recommend finding a copywriter in your field or and paying them to work it over with you! Don't waste your money, even the guarantee wasn't worth it!

Top Resume is something i strongly suggest as it saved hours of my life, if not years because, simply. You cant make your resume as good and strong as they can.

These ppl are pro and will deliver the service in a heart beat, they are well organised and have QA for what any writer does.

I got a writer assigned a couple of days after I signed up. He prepared a resume and a cover letter based on the documents I provided, but the draft was slightly off the point. I'm glad I had a phone consultation where I could explain my complex career situation in detail. He provided many recommendations and ideas on using the new resume and explained why it is written the way it is. After that, we had a couple of rounds of corrections and improvements, and he usually responded pretty fast. The final result is quite good but I will have to do some tweaks to make it perfect.

Top Resume is a professional service provider to write and distribute resumes to meet today's recruiting processes. STAY AWAY especially for upper mid to senior level people. SHABBY service and work product!
The sales person was quite convincing but in the end after sub standard experience, she was insensitive and not helpful whatsoever. Process stinks with poor communication and total focus on TopResume edicts not the customer's needs. Resume factory with poor work product.

I received a terrible resume and cover letter. I made some suggestions for revision 2 and the writer didn't get me anything until four days AFTER the project deadline. I contacted customer service and didn't get a resolution for two weeks. They said they'd restart my project. It has been almost two weeks, and they haven't matched me with a writer.

I knew my resume needed to be updated since the last time I put work into it was over 15 years ago. Of course I've had several jobs that I just added on but it did not speak to the professional self. In my head this was going to be a long process. I was wrong, wrong, wrong! It was so easy and quick. I was able to communicate freely with my writer, Gaby.

Please know that the high ratings on this site are the result of TopResume bribing its customers by offering Amazon cards for positive reviews. This was a horrible waste of time and money. After receiving my first resume and cover letter, which were riddled with poor spelling and grammar, the resume writer disappeared. After a few days, I was assigned another writer, delaying the process further. This resume contained job descriptions that in no way resembled my work experience. It seemed she hadn't even read the information I sent her. After a third resume, I gave up and considered this a loss.
